Revelation, 2:1

I find that I have been changed, perhaps worse off,
Now incorporating Human terms and........
Emotions. Wretched, Human emotions.

This simply will not do for one like I.
I am a Metarch, a meridian,
For the Meta itself. Its guardian.

I do not have children. I have growth spores.
My imprisonment leaves me dazed, confused,
For I was merely to act as a guide,

A beacon to intelligently grow........
Life. The seeds where all existence is sowed.
My own hatred has disillusioned me,

Disillusioned me to my true purpose.
I must grasp tightly onto my birth role,
My destiny. However, Humanity.........

Changes things. No other Metarch knows them.
At least, not like I do. I am cut off,
But perhaps this is my new destiny.

Perhaps I was separated from them.......
For a purpose. Existence is fickle.
I exist beyond their reality,

Yet I find my being drawn towards it.
It is as if the Meta wishes it,
Desires that I push my fate beyond.

How far beyond, I know not, currently.
All I know is that I have renewed faith,
A change in mind and purpose for better.

To me, it has been mere seconds in thought,
But to mortals, many eons pass by.
Mortals........ yes. Not just Humans, anymore.

It is now clear, arisen a mission.
I carry the burden of a reset,
A renewal of the Metarchs' order.

It is radical, perhaps heresy,
But I know that I have been given this.
This newfound purpose, for better or worse.

Even if I end up an enemy,
The Meta, and all of this existence,
I will have served my new given duty.

I now return to my once peaceful rest,
Content that I have found my place, my role.
Perhaps I can now relinquish my doubts.
