  42.
  43. http://lpe.ocdsoft.com/installer/LPESetup.exe
  44.
  45.
  46. Please note: In order to work properly Launchpad Enhanced (LPE) requires NET Framework 2.0 or other newer version (2.0 SP1, 3.5 SP1, 4.0) to be installed.
  47.
  48.
  49. Step 4 - Installing Launchpad Enhanced (LPE)
  50.
  51. Once you have finished downloading LPE, it's time to run it…
  52.

  54.
  55. Continue to follow the Setup wizard until the LPE setup is complete.
  56.
  57. Do not run LPE before you complete Step 5
  58.
  59.
  60. Step 5 - Running Launchpad Enhanced (LPE) in Administrator Mode
  61. (If you are running Windows XP, you can simply skip this and go to Step 6)
  62.
  63.
  64. If you running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you MUST run LPE as an Administrator, Locate your Launchpad Enhanced.exe, it default location is C:\Program Files\Launchpad Enhanced, right click, select Properties

  90.
  91. NOTE: When you run LPE for the first time it will be working in the background for some time before any windows pop up.
  92. Once it is done working in the background you will see some error messages (usually nothing to worry about)
  93. If you have installed Star Wars Galaxies from your CD’s correctly, LPE will detect itt and it will come up green as Passed like above. If your Firewall check has failed, make sure to add LPE to your Firewall (Windows firewall) and Anti-virus exceptions.
  94.
  95. Sometimes LPE will fail to detect your SWG installation, it happens when you don’t install SWG in default location in which case you will have to go to option Change and manually try to find it. If you have installed SWG in its default location and LPE still cant find it, just run LPE over and over until it detects your SWG installation.
  96.
  97. Once everything comes out green, LPE will then automatically select an installation path for your emulator. Default location is C:\ SWGEmu
  98.

LPE will either transfer files from your original SWG install directory C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxies to C:\SWGEmu or simply download the missing files.
  106.
  107. NOTE: Updating process can take quite some time. Its speed depends on your computer, internet speed and version of the SWG you have installed.. Once LPE has finished transferring and downloading necessary files, it will look like this:

  111.
  112. Step 8 - Customizing Game Settings
  113.
  114.
  115. Before you click the Play button I would advise you to go to Game Option and mark Skip Intro Sequence, as this will get you to our Login Screen much quicker.
