Watch an anime with a main character that is a professional in their field - state the character and profession; they get paid for their services, like a lawyer, teacher, doctor and so on. If unsure ask in the discussion thread

Watch an anime from the predictive search using a participant on your sign-up page - state the username and initial post number; use the username of any participant that posted on your page; if they change their username before you finish the challenge you have to change this accordingly; save a screenshot in case we don't get the same anime when searching.

How to: In the predictive search bar select "Anime" from the drop-down menu on the left. In the search area write their username completely, without spaces. The anime used should be one from there. You can't press the "View all results" area


Watch an anime suggested by MAL or by Anime+ - link to a screenshot since this will change or you might be the only one to see it. The screenshot must show your username; if you change your username before you finish the challenge you have to change this accordingly


Watch a Featured Anime - link the article used; use any anime featured in an article published from 2017 onward; the anime must have the "Featured" tab


Watch an anime with an English main title - has to be on the main title used here on MAL; if part of the title has words in another language it won't count; alternative titles don't count; one letter and number only titles don't count; excludes titles that uses someone's name

Miscellaneous
Watch an anime from a random TVTropes - state and link the trope; unless a specific title/anime is referenced in the example area, you can use any from the franchise mentioned. If the page says that the trope/examples shouldn't be used as one it won't be valid. Remember to look for the area in the trope that says "Examples" -> "Anime and Manga"

Watch one of the 5 lowest scored anime from your favorite studio by weighted score on Anime+ - state the studio used; use your favorite studio as it appears on Anime+ under Anime Favorites, by weighted score; must appear listed as studio for the anime used; save a screenshot showing your username in case the ranking changes; use already aired anime that is scored. Don't count titles with a score of N/A or already watched (add a note about this). Only count those titles that doesn't require to watch a prequel/related anime UNLESS you have watched that related anime already (also add a note about this).

Watch an anime which began airing the same day you joined MAL - any year/month; refers to the day (as in number) you joined. For example, I joined on Jan 01, 2017. I would need an anime which began airing the first, regardless the month/year

Watch a related anime that aired at least 15 years before/after a previously completed series - state the related series if there's more than one listed (the one you previously watched); use an anime that is related to something you already watched, but that was aired with a 15 years or more difference. It could be one aired before or after the completed series. For example, you watched Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Crystal (aired 2014) but not Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (aired 1992), if you watch the missing one it would be valid for this.

Watch an anime that combines one of your favorite and least favorite genres - state them; both determined by weighted score as it appears on Anime+ under Anime Favorites; if you can't find an available anime that combines both genres, you can move to the next genre on the list (if you do so add a note); save a screenshot showing your username in case the genre's ranking changes; if one of your options is Hentai, Yuri or Yaoi, you can skip them if desired

Random ones won't be accepted (recommended for another item)

Watch a completed anime that hasn't been reviewed - needs a total duration of 16 minutes or more; means that there are no reviews when you start watching it, doesn't matter if it gets one while watching or after you finish
Watch a completed anime with no Opening or Ending themes listed - there is no Opening nor Ending listed in their entry
Watch a completed anime that doesn't have forum discussion threads - doesn't has episodes nor "other" forums threads created
Watch the Top anime recommended to your Favorite Anime - the most recommended title that you haven't watched ("The first anime, on the recommendation page from your favorite anime."); state your favorite anime listed in your profile. It doesn't has to be the first one listed. If your favorites change, change accordingly


Finish an on-hold or dropped anime - use any title that was started during or before July, 2017 and left unwatched; state the original start date and how many episode were previously watched; the anime can't have just one episode; the anime doesn't need to be on your on-hold/dropped list. Use any that you previously started watching and left without finishing for the longest. Note that you might be asked for your episode history as evidence.
If you receive the on-hold or dropped item, but don't have any anime that fits, change it to another item of the same tier.
