Anon in Pone Prison - Chapter 2 Prelude

"Non-E-Mus?.."
>It's dark in here
>So scary
>Where's your hyooman?
>He should be here somewhere
"Non-E-Mus?!"
>...
>From a small distance away, a dim light illuminates the seemingly infinite dark abyss
>While the source of light is pretty far away, you can recognize that shape anywhere
"NON-E-MUS!"
>You try running towards the hyooman, but each step you take only causes him to get further away
"No!! Non-E-Mus!"
>Attempting to pick up the pace only quickens how fast he moves away from you
>You close your eyes and sprint as fast as you can, not caring whether or not your body gives out on you
>You don't want him to leave you, the abyss is dark and cold without him
>"You can keep trying, but he is just going to move further and further away."
>An elegant sounding voice resonates through your head; familiar, though you have never heard it before
>"You should stop trying to catch him. Can't you see that he is already in a place you could never obtain him?"
"No! Non-E-Mus! Save me!"
>"Save you? You don't need any saving! Stop acting so weak! It is disgusting!"
>You shake your head and just keep sprinting full speed, breathing heavily from exhaustion
"Wrong! Non-E-Mus needs to save me!"
>"Save you from what?"
"F-From this! From you!"
>".."
>*WHACK*
>The voice goes silent as you collide with something large
"Oomf!"
>As you open your eyes, you realize that what you had bumped into was the one you were chasing; his large back turned to you
"Non-E-Mus! Non-E-Mus!"
>You start crying as you cling onto him
>*SHOVE*
>Within seconds, Anonymous turns around to grab your head and shove it away
"N-Non-E--.."
>As you wipe your tears, your heart sinks
>He is glaring at you, a look of disgust
>You begin to tremble and back up slowly as he follows you with his anger filled gaze
"N-N-N.."
>"Oh~! He's noticed you~!"
>The voice from earlier speaks to you in your right ear
>You feel as if she is standing beside you, but you can't turn to look and see who it is
>Anon's glare feels like a prison, a form of confinement that you wish to escape, but are afraid to try
>"So~. You're going have him save you, right~? You're obviously unable to save yourself afterall. Like with that dragon, the one who made a fool out of you."
>The voice becomes slightly more annoyed as you stay frozen in place, looking timidly up at the angry hyooman
>"Come on! You said he was going to save you! Then have him save you! Save you from here, save you from your fear, save you from me!"
>You step forward slowly and cautiously, trying to approach Anon once again, but are stopped after only a few steps by the startling sound of him screaming at you
>"LEAVE! YOU'RE A MONSTER! GET OUT! I HATE YOU!"
>As he repeats these words over and over, you begin backing up quickly in terror
>"Ahahaha~!!"
>The voice beside you begins to laugh as you retreat from the only source of light in this terrible place
>You start shaking your head as you continue to move backwards, away from Anonymous
>You don't want to be here any more, you just want to go home
>Stop this
>You don't like this
>Please stop
>Why won't it stop?!
>Anon's rage filled yelling and the voice's mocking laughter becomes louder and louder, even as you move away from them both
>..
>You shut your eyes and turn around, running away from Anonymous and back into the infinite darkness
>Too many emotions are stirring around inside of you at the moment to understand anything
>All you know is that you want out of this nightmare
>No more, you can't take any more
>As the sounds of laughing and screaming soften as you gain distance from the two, the sound of another set of hooves clopping against the ground beside you becomes apparent
>"See? He couldn't save you, he wouldn't want to. He forced you away, even though you had placed so much faith in him. But you are strong, you don't need to be saved; you never needed to be."
>Turning your head to the sound of the voice, your mind turns to mush when you see who it is
>"Besides, there is nopony in the world that can save you from.."
>The pony running beside you, a large twisted grin upon her face, looks exactly like
>"..you."
>*SNAP*
>You fling yourself forward from the darkness that had been consuming you into a brightly lit white tiled room, hyperventilating from the sudden emotional rush
>"Woah! Easy now.."
>For a few seconds you are unable to recognize where you are or who said that, but soon enough you recognize that you are inside of the prison's library, lying upon Anon's lap
>Anon is concernedly looking down at you, taking a break from the book he was reading to make sure you are alright
>"Have a bad dream?"
>Anon leans over and pets your head to try to calm you down
>..
>I-It was all just a dream
>Just a very bad dream
>None of that was real
>Anonymous is here, everything is normal, you don't need to be afraid
>"Oh, if only it were really 'just a dream'~."
>As you look to your side, you see a semi-transparent version of the grinning mare staring mockingly at you
"Uh.. Uhh.. Uhhh.."
>*VOMIT*
>"Holy shit! A-Are you alright?!"
>"Oh~. She's going to be just fine~."
