- John,
- Unfortunately as is clear from your video the two officers who parked correctly were already on break when their colleague arrived and did not see where he parked as he parked some way away from where they were sitting.
- Officers are able to take their break at whatever time is suitable during their shift.
- All have been reminded.

- I guess that's where the problem is. If the two who were parked appropriately didn't correct their colleagues actions, then perhaps they need re-education too?
- You also mention they were on lunch break - can you confirm lunch breaks take place at 2:30pm on a weekday?
- And one definition of stupidity is doing the same thing as last time, and expecting a different result. Clearly, it's endemic amongst your staff that parking illegally is acceptable, and after my original report in Ascot, you assured me corrective action would be taken, which clearly hasn't had the desired effect. Can I suggest a word is had with all enforcement officers, so they all get the message, rather than doing it one at a time?
- And just so you're clear, it was both on double yellow lines and half up on the pavement making it difficult for the disabled or Mums with children in pushchairs to get past without using the road.
- Thanks
- John

- Dear John,
- Thank you for sending me this information.
- I can confirm that all three parking officers were logged on lunch break at the time of your video and therefore sitting eating an ice cream is not a problem.
- Two of the officers were legally parked in the parking bays on Barry Avenue.
- I will speak to the officer who left the fiesta van on the double yellow lines regarding this matter on his return to the office.

- Hi Neil
- Looks like the parking staff are at it again - this time, it's three of them parked up on double yellow lines and on a pavement while they enjoy an ice cream - video is now online.
- Please provide a response, which will be posted online as last time, and this time could I get a statement as to what you're going to do differently, given the last time you addressed this, it hasn't made a difference?
- Many thanks
- John
