- The starting focus of this story. A kingdom ruled by royalty, Veros has been a shining example of prosparity and success thanks in a large part to their owning of the Fire Emblem. A royal treasure passed down from olden times, it is rumored to be the reason that Veros has never faced drought, widespread sickness, and even low rate of bandit attacks. The nobles rule with an easy hand and there is a general state of happiness.

- Nomadic tribes live here. They have no real combined leadership but will meet once a year to discuss territory disupts and other important issues such as food sources and trading with outside countries. Although they are not unified together, they do their best to put on a unified front to outsiders.

- A merchant nation, ruled by a council. Their economy is based almost completely on trade between other nations, with very little to call their own. They stay neutral in times of war, but have the money to hire protection should someone attack them.

- Small summary:
- A country of nobles, ruled by the great nobles of the country. They tend to rule with an iron fist to prevent other nobles from rebelling. As such, the commoners here tend to be less happy and poorer than in other countries. This country also tends to be withdrawn and unfriendly to other countries.

- A unique situation, this country is ruled by a group of elected leaders and has no system of nobility. They have spies in pretty much every other country that they can. They are where people go to find knowledge and will trade it in exchange for protection and money.

- Small summary:
- A knowledge focused country, there are schools of magic and other knowledge everywhere. They first set up these schools in an attempt to find some way to turn the desert into a bountiful countryside again. Although they have not succeded yet, they continue to try to fix this problem and are highly uninvolved in other parts of the world because of this.

- A warlike country ruled by a single family for the past 800 years, they are the reason for most of the major wars in the history of the continent. They are constantly expanding, trying to gain more land than the barren mountains they have been stuck with for most of their history.

- A monarchy with a fairly thriving economy, and the staunch allies of Veros. Their army is well known for its effectiveness but also for being kind to the commoners they run into. Currently the prince is engaged to Veros's princess.

- Small summary:
- A den of sin and iniquity, this island is home to various pirate groups and other various outlaws and fugitives. This is the source of the various pirate raids all around the continent. Anyone with the right amount of money who's willing to venture here can hire the inhabitants to harrass ships and coastlines.

- Shadow Cloak: Drawn as a mysterious cloaked figure, god of theives and those seeking luck, there's no real religion, followers just send up a prayer when the need a blessing
- The Shining God: The lord of light, god of those who are in search of the holy, claimed to be the source of light magic. Temples are set up to him in many major towns, and his followers will hold services to him often.
- Dark Lady: Queen of the night, goddess of those who use dark magic and those interested in the dark side of life. Claimed to be the source of dark magic. Very few public temples are set up to her, and she has cults dedicated to her. Rumored to be the source of monsters as well.
