+Small Pseudonym __ ::sigh:: *Just because a comment you don't like gets through does not mean I have personally and intentionally allowed it to go through!* If it isn't held by *Google's* filters, then I literally *do not* see it. Furthermore, and I should not need to say this: _I am not responsible for the opinions people express nor do I necessarily support them._

I also can't see what people are writing without sitting here refreshing the comments section every hour and going through the comment threads manually. And that means personally clicking on each one to open it up! _Is that what you're doing?!_

In an *effort* to keep things civil I have pinned this comment to *encourage* people to play nice. Some who are thinking about writing an outright abusive or racist comment may decide not to do so - or may reword it more appropriately. _That's a positive thing._

I have changed the comment settings to be as *reasonably restrictive* as possible without outright manually approving each comment. That's not practical and I'd be accused of enforcing my bias. What is getting through is beyond my control except in the cases where a person's comment is actually held by Google's filters for review.

Perhaps things would be worse if I had not taken these steps. Perhaps you should open a support ticket with Google and complain about why their filters don't meet your expectations.

If you are new to the Internet, then I also suggest you take a look at some of the more popular channels and ask them why they aren't doing more to personally clean up their comments section.

You'll find this is a problem affecting every video that is somewhat controversial in nature. Personally, I don't think the Internet is suitable for *any* child nor is it a place for adults who are sensitive and easily offended/triggered.
