"And then, Dracula leapt forward! His teeth sunk deep into her -"
>a thundering roar fills your head all of a sudden
>it seems to have affected the ponies as well
>all of them are screaming and flailing their limbs
>you just scream once and frantically look around you
>as the ponies flee, a poof of smoke suddenly reveals a new pony
>it's a pony you have never seen before
>she's quite tall
>far taller than normal ponies
>and her hair seems magical
>like it is reflecting the very night sky itself
>she giggles at the fleeing ponies
>"Oh, this night simply is such good fun!"
>her eyes fall upon your frightened face
>"Pray tell, what are you? You certainly are no pony."

"I'm Anon; a human. I'm dressed up as Dracula, the vampire."

>unable to decide what candy you want, you do the smart thing
"I'll take one of each."

>she puts one of each type of candy into it
>you hand over the bits needed to pay for it all
>being the genius you are, you take all of it out of the bag
>you then proceed to mash all of it together
>before long, you manage to make a big ball of candy

>and far up, on a little, dark cloud, you spot Luna
>she's watching everyone, it seems
>you can't truly tell, as she is quite a ways away

>there's no way she would be able to hear you at this distance
>you'd have to get her attention in a different way
>you think for a moment
>that's it!
>this is Nightmare Night
>there is only one proper way to get someone's attention
>you grab the edge of your cape and hold it up to your face as you move
>gotta do this the proper way
>you spot a group of ponies talking
>you move through the shadows like a master assassin
>when you get within reach, you jump at them
>with a mighty roar you send the ponies fleeing for the lives
>one of them even faints
>this is far more fun than you expected
>for the next five minutes you sneak around Ponyville
>you scare the shit out of unsuspecting ponies
>the best part about it is nobody gets angry
>this is Nightmare Night, after all
>after a particularly successful scare, you laugh to yourself
>that laugh doesn't last long, however
>a quiet hiss in your ear replaces the laugh with a terrified scream
>you trip and fall to the ground face first
>as you get up, you hear laughter
>looking backwards you see Luna
>she's got tears in her eyes as she's rolling around on the ground
>laughing at your misfortune

>you take a deep breath and hold it
>you close your eyes and lay completely still
>Luna is still laughing, althought far less now

>you never fall more than a few feet before being picked up by a magical field
>it slowly lifts you back up into the air
>you're moving back towards Luna
>she looks furious

>as you finally reach her, the two of you are eye to eye

>you give her a weak smile

>when you are no more than 20 feet from the ground, you close your eyes
>you scrunch up your face, waiting for doom
>a minute passes and you're still panting
>you should have hit the ground by now
>slowly you open your left eye
>you see dirt mere inches from you
>looking around you find yourself hovering just above the ground
>enveloped by a dark blue field of magic
>a whisper crawls into your ear

>with that, you dump onto the ground, heart still pounding
>Luna chuckles and pats your back
