My super amazing short story challenge response - Kyle

There once was a man who lived in a cave. He did not like the cave. When it rained, the water leaked through the cracks in the ceiling and dripped onto his table. He thought the cave did not like him either.

The cave often took a swipe at his head with low-hanging rocks and roots which pushed downward through the air in futility. Perhaps if he were shorter, the cave would not be so irritable. Men as tall as he did not often live in caves. Perhaps this is why. At least it was easy to see the vines in the early afternoon when light filled the cave. At night, not so much.
