5. Story of the Game
6. Pregame: Open - Hello and welcome to the first Prince George game of the year versus the St. Louis Scarecrows. The Scarecrows taking their opening game versus the Raiders, winning that game 3-2 and the Firebirds losing their first game being shut out by the Knights. How will tonight play out? Will both teams have a win and a loss or will Prince George fall with no wins, giving THe scarecrows a leg up in the standings?
7.
8. After getting trounced in their home opener Prince George looks to travel to St. Louis to put a hurt on the Scarecrows like the Knights did to them. Let's turn it over and check out what the PGF Keys to the game are!
9.
10. Pregame: Keys to the Game - Coming to you hot are this week's keys of the game. Last night the Firebirds were unproductive and let's see how the Firebirds can turn it around.
11.
Just Score: Having no points in a single game isn't bad, but it can't continue. Waters is working to keep the team in the game, but the rest of the team had to do their part. He can't very well come out of net to score.
12.
Waters Has To Be Strong: Waters was very weak in the opening game. It's a drastic change from his performances last season. If he continues this way this sign
13.
14. Jakobbson has to step up for sure, he wasn't the presence he should be in the last game. If he wants to get called up or lead this team through the playoffs then he has to change this momentum that is slowing him down from the last few games.
15.
Young Guys Need to Be Accountable Too:
16.
17. Prince George is full of young rookies that are getting ther first bunches of ice time in the SMJHL this season, but that is no reason to forget them .Levi Watkins need to step up scoring, Boone needs to become more defensively responsible, all of them need to find their place and step up into it.
18.
Game: Lineup - The teams are coming together for the opening face off and we have the same lines as the last night. Prince George with their regulars of Wolf, NoRetornable, and Jakobsson with Monkey and Pollak set to defend Waters in net.
19.
20. The Militia show up with the same lines as well, center, Zyvleski, and wings, Angello and Maciel, Maatta and Orlov look to protect Harris in net and shut down Prince George. The puck is dropped and let's get this game underway.

24. Post-Game: Firebird Gifs of the Game - In this game, the Firebirds BARELY scraped by after their dominant first period. Ben Waters really saved them in this one and Harris just narrowly let it go. dominant, even though the score of the game doesn't necessarily indicate that. We're going to look at the following highlights to see what they did well and what they should take forward.

27. Our first highlight comes to us per the poor pickups that plagued Montreal all game. Their defense just could not keep up with all the Prince George players.
28.
29.
...A couple of breakout passes from the defense as Prince George regains possession. Both teams heading off for their first line changes of the night. the Militia defensemen seem to be having a hard time handling the fresh Firebirds. A play from below the net, to the sideboards and a quick flip to the Front Of The Net..TO A WAITING SHNEKINSEN. A quick strike in this first few minutes of the game to make it 1-0 PGF!
31.
32. Our 2nd highlight of the night come to us by way of another defensive miscue by the Militia. Tonight they just did not pick up their men and were no help to their goalie with a quality screen they probably wish happened at the other end of the ice.
33.
34.
Some good board play on this possession for the Firebirds, they are pressing for a 3rd goal this period, Watkins, Selich, and Hertzberg are the forwards on the ice for Prince George, after a partial line change. Some more cycling, some quick passes around and a bit of pushing from Watkins in the front to put some pressure on the goalie. Another set of passes from the boards and. OH SELICH COME DOWN FROM THE BLIE LINE LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL TO PUT A SHOT ON GOAL. LEVI DIPS DOWN. MONTREAL IS SCREENING THEIR OWN GOALIE. IT'S IN! Eduard Selich for the 3rd goal of the night for Prince George!
37. The final highlight is one that might be reconsidered upon further examination. Harris is having a barrage put forth in front of him and (possibly) lets in the game winning goal.
38.
39.
Midway through the 2nd here and it is 3-2 Prince George. Prince George has been holding their own for the last few minutes putting the pressure on Harris in the Militia net. Pollak goes D-to-D along the blue line. Received well by Monkey. Monkey Lines Up a Shot With NoRetornable In Front Causing A Screen. Shot! REBOUND! NoRetornable Flips It Back For Another Shot. HARRIS IS DESPERATE! HE FLOPS OVER AND GLOVES IT DOWN! WAIT! THE REF SIGNALS IT'S IN! 4-2 PGF as Harris gives an earful to the ref. Let's look at that replay! Oooohhhh, that's more than close. But Prince George will take it.

42. Post-Game: Wrap Up/3 Stars - Another win for the Firebirds, keeping their last 10 game wins at 6-0-4, making them to a respectable 16-6-5 over the season. Let's take a look at the three stars of the game to see how it shakes down.
43.
3rd Star: :firebirds: Casper Jacobsson - 1G, 4 S, 50% FO - The team-leading scorer held his own and added another goal to his tally sheet to lift the Firebirds to a 2-0 lead early that would slowly drain over the game leading to our next star...
44.
2nd Star: :firebirds: Hylytyr NoRetornable - 2P (1 G, 1 A), 5 S - NoRetornable reigns as the 2nd star tonight by scoring the game-winning goal and putting up a solid bunch of shots (one of which would lead to an assist). But he is out classes by the hometown hero...
45.
1st Star: :militia: Brennan Kennedy - 2P (1 G, 1 A), 10 MP - Working off of the 3rd line Kennedy and his linemates produced tonight and just steals the player of the game from Hylytyr NoRetornable as the hometown favorite being their greatest source of production tonight.
46.
