- --- IF YOU WANNA PLAY WITH A ROOTED DEVICE READ HERE ----
- I just found a way to play with a Rooted device. My is a Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat rooted and I'm using the new-released English version of School Idol Project.
- If you're device's rooted, then follow these steps:
- 1) Be sure you have Xposed Framework v2.4.1+ Installed (with XposedBridge v42+) (If you haven't, just do it. It's really simple and useful)
- 2) Open Xposed Installer
- 3) Go to Download and look for RootCloak. Install the latest version (currently 1.4)
- 4) Go to Module in the Xposed Installer app and check RootCloak
- 5) Restart your device
- 6) Open RootCloak clicking on its icon
- 7) Go to Add/Remove Apps, then click on the + and add School Idol Festival
- 8) Go to Add/Remove Keywords Hidden by RootCloak, then remove, based on what you've installed on your device (Superuser or SuperSU) the keywords related. I've SuperSU, so I deleted "su", "root" and "supersu" (-- The deleting of these words may cause some errors using other apps. In this case don't worry and just open RootCloak, then Add/Remove Keywords --> menu --> Reset)
- 9) FORCE CLOSE School Idol Festival or Restart your device
- 10) Open the app and enjoy!
- It works for me, also I must say that after the download of all files and the creation of my account, I opened RootCloak and reset the keywords list (not the App list) and, even after a reboot, the game still works (maybe I'll need to make these steps again when an update comes out, but now it's working fine)!
- I apologize if I made some English-language mistake, but I'm an Italian student and our English lessons really suck.
- Hope you can enjoy your rooted device with School Idol Project!
