  1. --- IF YOU WANNA PLAY WITH A ROOTED DEVICE READ HERE ----
  2.
  3. I just found a way to play with a Rooted device. My is a Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat rooted and I'm using the new-released English version of School Idol Project.
  4.
  5. If you're device's rooted, then follow these steps:
  6.
  7. 1) Be sure you have Xposed Framework v2.4.1+ Installed (with XposedBridge v42+) (If you haven't, just do it. It's really simple and useful)
  8. 2) Open Xposed Installer
  9. 3) Go to Download and look for RootCloak. Install the latest version (currently 1.4)
  10. 4) Go to Module in the Xposed Installer app and check RootCloak
  11. 5) Restart your device
  12. 6) Open RootCloak clicking on its icon
  13. 7) Go to Add/Remove Apps, then click on the + and add School Idol Festival
  14. 8) Go to Add/Remove Keywords Hidden by RootCloak, then remove, based on what you've installed on your device (Superuser or SuperSU) the keywords related. I've SuperSU, so I deleted "su", "root" and "supersu" (-- The deleting of these words may cause some errors using other apps. In this case don't worry and just open RootCloak, then Add/Remove Keywords --> menu --> Reset)
  15. 9) FORCE CLOSE School Idol Festival or Restart your device
  16. 10) Open the app and enjoy!
  17.
  18. It works for me, also I must say that after the download of all files and the creation of my account, I opened RootCloak and reset the keywords list (not the App list) and, even after a reboot, the game still works (maybe I'll need to make these steps again when an update comes out, but now it's working fine)!
  19.
  20. I apologize if I made some English-language mistake, but I'm an Italian student and our English lessons really suck.
  21.
  22. Hope you can enjoy your rooted device with School Idol Project!
