  1. You are Anon.
  2. ...
  3. Oh shit, did I say that out loud?
  4. >"...Yes, you did. And we are quite aware."
  5. >Giving a sheepish grin to your co-conspirator, she proceeds to stand up and walk towards the door to her room.
  6. >She looks back and smiles.
  7. >"Follow then, Anon. The time has come for us to see the product of our cunning."
  8. >You are Anon.
  9. >And you are quite in awe at your own intelligence.
  10. >Combining a lifetimes worth of knowledge patiently nurtured into wisdom and experience, and applying the full mental prowess of both Princess Luna, and yourself , you have created the ultimate conglomeration of pone thaumaturgical engineering, and human mechanical manufacturing.
  11. >You pick up your old RC helicopter which was duct taped to a prototype magical cannon converted to simply throw around globs of magical paint, that Luna stole from the Canterlot Department of Wartime Research, and follow her out the door.
  12. >Running back into the room a second later to grab the controllers for the two devices.
  13. >Also duct taped together.
  14. >God you're smart.
  15. >You fire it up as you catch up to Luna, who waits at the end of the hallway leading into the castle proper, and take in that nostalgic whirring.
  16. >"We are pleased to see the device functioning as intended. Now, the target is our beloved elder sister, but thou shall be rewarded "bonus points" for any Day Guards vanquished on your quest."
  17. You got it, just make sure Celly doesn't throw the sun at me.
  18. >Giving a giggle at the sharp salute you gave her, she turns around and walks back down the hallway.
  19. >Time to get started.
  20.
  21. >Peeking your head around a T intersection corner, you see two day guards standing on either side of a vaulted doorway to the next section of hallway.
  22. >You fly your helicopter over from where you left it back a ways, and get psyched.
  23. >And then you're tapped from behind, startling you into shooting the wall ahead with a torrent of paint.
  24. >The projectiles impact the wall as the magic gives the pastel paint a glowing, ethereal quality that makes it look even gayer than it would normally.
  25. >Wincing at the noise, you turn around and see a mare in a maid uniform staring at the wall behind you in shock.
  26. >When you look back around the corner, you see the guards walking in your direction with spears aloft.
  27. >Looking back down at the little maid who would probably have to clean this when all is said and done, you give a face of regret.
  28. Sorry about this.
  29. >Picking her up, you toss her a ways down the hallway opposite from the oncoming guards.
  30. >Seeing them gallop past to check on the mare, you run in the direction they came from with your heli trailing above your head.
  31. >Reaching the doorway, you turn around to see the guards looking up at you and the maid pointing in your direction.
  32. >Well then.
  33. >Pressing the according button on the remote, you watch as a shotgun spread of paint flings across the hallway and coats the unfortunate pones.
  34. >It isn't a light impact, and the force of the paint sends the pones flying.
  35. Wonder if I lose points for hitting a civilian.
  36. >Turning on your heel, you continue on your way while laughing at the groaning coming from behind you.
  37.
  38. >Currently hiding under a cardboard box used to ship bananas, you wait as a pair of guards run through the hallway outside of the main entrance to the throne room.
  39. >Your helicopter is perched on a ledge above, waiting to strike should the need arise.
  40. >It has been an exceedingly successful mission.
  41. >The Day Guard is in uproar after 17 of their rank reported to their commanding officer while dripping luminescent paint.
  42. >Those still at their posts were told to spread out in an attempt to find you, and a good 1/6th of the castle is going to need repainting.
  43. >When the coast is clear, you flip the box off yourself, start up your copter, and do a stealth roll into the throne room.
  44. >Hugging the wall, you sneak behind a pillar and watch Celly go about her business with an agitated look.
  45. >Bringing the copter in and positioning it near the ceiling, you see Celly glance around in an effort to locate the whirring noise that has been introduced to the room.
  46. >Slowly moving the helicopter directly above the throne, you lower the cannon until it is pointing straight down.
  47. >As her ears flick around the room, she finally seems to notice the source of the noise.
  48. >Just as her eyes move upwards to the sight of your toy floating above, you jam a finger to the firing button.
  49. >You are already running as you hear the wet splat of paint.
  50. >Guiding the helicopter to one of the doorways leading to a balcony, you arrive shortly after.
  51. >Reaching it just as the toy flies out, you turn and address the now even more brightly colored princess.
  52. Sic semper tyrannis.
  53. >Her limp mane drips with color as her eye twitches.
  54. >Switching off the helicopter, you turn in time to see it plumet off the side of the balcony.
  55. >Getting a running start, you execute a flawless swan dive after it.
  56. >The air whips by you as you fall and eventually catch up to your gadget.
  57. >Catching it in your arms, you call out.
  58. LUNAAAA!!!
  59.
  60. >A mass of midnight blue swoops out from the sky and catches you mid descent.
  61. >Settling yourself on the back of the lunar princess, you ask the question that is on the forefront of your mind as you fly into the distance.
  62. You get pictures?
  63. >You can hear the smile in her voice as she replies.
  64. >"Oh yes, our sister shall be able to remember this day for a long, long time."
  65. >Laughing together, and beginning to recount the choice details of your adventure, you fly off into the horizon.
