(04:42:03 PM) Gliynn: Yes, the Forbidden Mountains, trying to get in (we should probably set our story in January and let the continuity catch up with the time AFTER the final battle, otherwise it wouldn't be believable).

(04:53:08 PM) Gliynn: And we'll have to do the best we can to watch his back, but he can't face the Black Dragon by himself, it would be suicide. So we need to find out how to trap him, and do it before he kills anyone.
(04:55:17 PM) Shonta: The Black Dragon seems to me like something that can't be battled by just battling it with Pokemon.  What was used to seal him?
(04:56:24 PM) Shonta: Or trap him...whatever was keeping him from causing mayhem.
(04:57:17 PM) Gliynn: There's something Jeff found in Templa Taure which should fit into something else we have yet to find on the mountains. >.>
(04:59:48 PM) Gliynn: Apparently Glenda was going to see Teclis. He may provide some more information, but we still need someone who can go easily undetected to find the missing part of the seal in the mountains, and I think you said something about getting Eli to contribute with a spell?

(05:03:17 PM) Gliynn: Once we have everything ready, we can all go to the mountains together, battle the demons and fix the seal, while trying to avoid getting killed by the Black Dragon himself. The latter is especially tricky, but if Rapp can get inside, maybe he can distract him with the help of the chaos magic inside the barrier.
(05:03:41 PM) Gliynn: For a while, anyway, but if we act fast that may be enough.
(05:04:27 PM) Gliynn: And yes, the area to search is large, we need a team, but a scattered one. Preferably composed of Pokemon who can teleport away at the sight of danger.

(05:18:40 PM) Gliynn: Hmm... good question. I think the chances of finding a demon are pretty high if they're searching near the barrier. (Maybe 2/3?) But the chances of finding the Black Dragon himself should be lower.

(05:19:33 PM) Shonta: In that case, Trinity runs into trouble, but not with the Black Dragon himself.

(05:24:31 PM) Shonta: So we've covered Circe, Trinity, Hero, Glyph, and Blazer.  All that's left is Ventura, and if he runs into trouble.

(05:27:24 PM) Gliynn: Then each of us can figure out how to deal with those encounters without revealing our intention, but the main thing is we will know where the incomplete seal is, so our plan may work as long as we don't give it away too quickly.

But since they were all in different areas, it may take the Black Dragon a while to figure out what exactly they were looking for. We need to launch our attack shortly after the search, though, or we will lose that advantage.

I can't imagine a way in which Lord Absol would not find out about him, but he has bigger things to worry about, so he may just watch from the distance instead of scaring him like he did with Eshree. Rapp is more familiar territory, after all. To him, anyway.

(07:21:06 PM) Gliynn: Then I suppose you can work that out by yourself, if you want to, and just tell us at the meeting that you know someone who can cast the spell. In which case I will ask you (my character will ask yours) if he can be trusted, and to make sure that he's there when we need him.

(07:23:05 PM) Gliynn: As for the more mysterious Guild members, I've just thought of something: maybe there were 2 seals, just like was the case with Yssera (except that in her case one of them was never broken) and they get to restore the other one while letting us work on this one because we insist on doing so.
