WiFi General Style Guide

In WiFi General, we aim to keep a high standard of Pokemon related posts.
This style guide aims to inform new posters (and remind old posters) of the level of quality we expect in all posts, including opening posts and off-topic "shitposting".

1. Kindness matters. Always be civil, and don't forget to thank people for trading with you.
2. Even if you aren't trading, use a name, friend code and trip so we can identify and filter you if you are annoying.
3. Egg moves matter! Don't say "I'm looking for egg move Spinda." Spinda has 16 egg moves. Be specific.
4. Please remain as on topic as possible. WiFi General is a well respected general on /vp/ thanks to our constant on-topicness.
5. It is not okay to trade hacks or clones.
6. Threads should only be made when the last thread has at least 299 posts. Opening posts should be very brief.
7. Effort pays off. People who make image lists are far more likely to receive trade requests.
8. Balltism is not a choice, but an illness. It is not unfair to decline a trade based on the ball something is in.
9. If you use a hacked 6IV Ditto to breed, please make it clear in your list, as this is a grey area in terms of legitimacy.
10.Never look for secret messages by reading down the first letter of each item on a list.
