[CENTER][COLOR="#F0FFF0"]or "ESB" as an acronym is a primarily African-American street-gang, located in the eastern district of Los Santos, just north of Ganton.
This blood sub-set is mostly recognized by its red-crimson color,  its members have a disturbed mentality which leads to them counting every other set member who is not under the "Blood" class as their rival.
Most notable rivals of the East Side Bloods are the Grove Street Families and One Niners and earlier the Main Street Crips whom located around them. The other sets considered to be neutral, but still don't have an official alliance with them. Their territory boundaries are from Crenshaw's boulevard to the basketball court beside the KFC. Many conflicts were started as a result of basketball turf, and causes some deaths of both sides.

The gang members identify themselves through various means such as colors, clothing, symbols, tattoos, hand signs or language. They are also notoriously known for their criminal activities such as illegal firearm trafficking, drug pushing, robberies, homicides and graffiti. The majority of the residents in Crenshaw and surrounding areas are known to be drug addicts who badly influence the people close to them. As a result of this, the area of Crenshaw is now seen as a place to be avoided by everyone who has no business being there. The police patrol Crenshaw and surrounding areas on a daily basis in an attempt to stop the Bloods from flooding the streets of East Los Santos with drugs.[/COLOR][/size] [/CENTER]

[CENTER][COLOR="#F0FFF0"]The set was formed in the 70's initially to compete against the influence of the Crips of the East Los Santos. Jeremiah, the  "O.G" formed it in order to provide a full protection against the Crips whom had a conflict with the neutral families in the neighborhood and later they have competed them.
In the beginning this blood sub-set expanded through the massive recruitment of the Crenshaw and Jefferson's residents, a lot of fresh graffiti related to the set were spread-out over the alleyways of the neighborhoods, announcing the born of this new set.
The set wasn't so successful in the start, they have started with only six members in the set, later they have expanded even more through newcomers who was prepared for a gang life.


This East Side Bloods members were widely known for their beef with white cops, but their biggest hatred was held for the Crips. This was an umbrella term for them that included any gang which affiliated with blue/navy colours. The gang was renowned their aggressive nature and attitude towards the outsiders, many men were murdered for no justified reasons in the past.
East Side Bloods was holding a firm grip on the drug dealing of the streets, the most notable types were Marijuana and Crack, or "loud" and "rocks" in the street language.
Jeremiah  Butler used to maintain their reputation by pushing his own custom strain of marijuana to the public which called "ES Kush". It was successful and caused outsiders visiting Los Santos to come to Crenshaw in order to buy this product.
Recently the gang have started to push some harder sorts of drugs, such as Heroin aka "Smack", Meth aka "Speed" and Ecstasy aka "X" or "Yokes" in order to make more money, although they themselves don't use those drugs.[/COLOR][/size] [/CENTER]

[CENTER][COLOR="#F0FFF0"]Filipe Sheepwolf was born in a flat complex in Crenshaw in the year 1995. He lived two doors down from the Butlers and was friends with 'Malb' from a young age. The two watched on as the Bloods took hold of the area and flooded the streets with their drugs. Filipes parents, Jesse and Trey Sheepwolf struggled with problems of the their own and were not suitable parents to raise a child. Trey Sheepwolf was an  He moved from school to school all over Los Santos. His mother had been an activist for the Black Panthers and was in and out of jail for most of the early days of Filipe's life. Filipe lost his father at the age of 3 in a car accident on Temple street. The accident happened at 3:30am on a Friday night after drinking himself into the only state of mind that he felt comfortable in - Brute Oblivion. 'Brute Oblivion'  - as described by Jesse to Filipe when he was old enough to here it - was what Trey descended into every night after work. He lived his life staring at the the last gulp of whiskey in the bottle. It was the last gulp, that tipped Trey over the edge on that Friday night and lead to his demise.

               As can be imagined, this changed the course of Filipe's life. He was lacking a father figure in his life and forced to mature quicker as a result. At age 12, Filipe had moved to a house in the projects near Ganton.

The founder of the East Side Bloods, Jeremiah "Pistol" Butler was 38 years old before he died. He was an infamous Jefferson-born felon back in the past, who was convicted and incarcerated multiple times when he was alive.
Jeremiah was cold-gunned to death from a drive-by on July 26th, 1998. Allegedly as a result of a revenge from a rival Mexican gang.
Witnesses claim a man in a Ford Taurus fired multiple shots at Jeremiah, nonetheless he soon fell and died on the scene but the police couldn't find the killer.
After the death of Jeremiah, his son Malcolm "Malb" and life long friend Filipe "Flip" Sheepwolf had to take charge of the hood from then on in.
When they only obtained the role there were some rumors about the set being defunct, a lot of the set members themselves were either deceased, incarcerated or left the neighborhood. In addition to the B.I.P graffiti which had been sprayed onto brick throughout the Jefferson's alleyways,
The Main Street Crips took-over their territory and taxed the families there, what caused most of them to leave the place and move into a new neighborhood. However, Malcolm and Filipe were taking the leading role seriously, to terminate these rumors and to bring back the reputation of this set.


              They stepped up their game, money became their goal. They were moving twice as much product as Malcolm's father had in the old days. Drugs were becoming more potent and their necessity on the streets of Los Santos was growing. The end of the 90's saw the spread of raves in Los Santos' and San Fierro's Clubs. Party drugs such as Cocaine and ecstasy fueled these raves and made the East Side Bloods a lot of money. They posted up every night on the block and party-goers came and left satisfied with their drugs before heading down to Alhambra. Filipe and Malcolm needed more and more pushers to man the block every night. Their money driven characteristics helped them distance themselves from the moral wrongs they were committing. Money was power and Malcolm and Filipe were thirsty for it.



The end of the 90's brought the end of the good times. All raves were shut down due to the drug abuse that was going on. The LSPD were aware that these raves were only feeding the gang scene in Los Santos and shut it down before Filipe and Malcolm made their first hundred thousand dollars. At the start of the new Millennium, it was apparent that the good times were well and truly gone. They weren't able to move the cocaine and ecstasy as well as before. Filipe and Malcolm couldn't afford to keep paying the pushers that they had hired during the end of the 90's. The men that they let go, left with a sour taste in their mouths and were more than angry at the set. This brought the East Side Bloods many problems as their friends were continuously murdered in cold blood by the ex-bloods. Poverty came as the streets dried up, it was a fertile source of self pity and self loathing. This did nothing but harden Malcolm and Filipe. They had to do something to sort out their money problems.


They planned their solution long and hard. In the end there appeared to be only one. Risk everything and attempt a bank robbery.

Both Filipe and Malcolm thought they had it planned out to a "B", they had cased the bank for months and knew a Saturday would be the best day to engage it. They knew exactly what workers came and went and at what times. The plan was executed on the 7th of September, 2002. However, things didn't go as planned. Witnesses saw the men put on their masks before they went in and was able to identify both Malcolm and Filipe when shown their photos. Case files had been kept on the gang for months which meant that the stakes were high for the O.G's and they knew it. Both Malcolm and Filipe went into hiding. They were forced to remain low key in their hideout for 3 weeks. They were later caught by the FBI when Malcolm went to buy some cheap cigarettes from the local 24/7. Five agents jumped on him and sent him and his boys to the pen. Filipe was let off on a technicality, the evidence of Filipe's DNA found on the bat that he used to hit the Bank Manager over the head with was poorly handled. The case went on for months before the jury found Filipe not guilty due to police misconduct. Malcolm and the rest served 6 years in jail upstate. While Malcolm was imprisoned, his little sister Michelle "Shine" Butler became in charge of the set alongside Filipe.


Nowadays Malcolm is known to be a cold blooded murderer, who has committed numerous crimes during his life. It's been 7 years since his release and he is back on track. His sister had returned control of the set back to him and Filipe after his release. She is now 22 years old and currently leading this gang alongside with Malcolm. After this infamous crime the gang made known even more, and some more newcomers went to hang out along with the gang.[/COLOR][/size]
