- 1. Requirements

- * an SD card
- * a physical/digital copy of Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
- * internet on your 3DS

- 2. Setup
- --------
- First, download the Homebrew starter pack: http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/starter.zip
- Extract the files in the zip, and place them all in the root of your SD card.
- Next, download one of the custom starter saves from here: https://mega.nz/#F!ZsYRgCwL!e6LYqEDwQ_0b8wLnM0rS5Q
- Extract the files in the zip, and place them all in the root of your SD card. Merge the 3ds folder from the starterpack and the one from the custom starter zip.

- 3. Launching Homebrew
- ---------------------
- Put the SD card in the 3DS, turn it on.
- Then open the internet browser. Delete all cookies and history.
- Go to one of these two websites. The site you will use depends on whether or not you are using a New 3DS or not.
- Old 3DS/2DS: http://yls8.mtheall.com/spider31hax.php
- New 3DS: http://yls8.mtheall.com/skater31hax.php
- If you get an error, try again, you should eventually boot to the Homebrew Launcher.

- 4. Installing the Custom Starter Save

- Navigate to the Save Manager application on the Homebrew Browser.
- Press B to import save data.
- Exit the application, and reboot back to the system menu.
- Open Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon. The custom starters should be installed.
