- For a game name, I got Darkest Motocross Dungeon.
- -----------------------------------------------------
- Concept:
- The concept of this game is exactly what it sounds like. You take a motocross into a dark dungeon. The concept of the game is exactly what pulled me in. I mean, who wouldn't want to play a game that sounds as sick as this? The unique is so creative, but unfortunately, it doesn't translate into any success.
- Gameplay:
- This is exactly where Darkest Motocross Dungeon lacks. It has god-awful controls. Every time I try to do something, it seems to want to do the exact opposite. More importantly, it is boring. It's repetitive use of objects and uninspiring scenery just doesn't do justice to the player's eyes. The game progresses very fast, giving no incentive to the player to spend TOO much on a single vehicle or location. However, the game did have its high points. The driving was fun and something I had never seen before. The vehicles were imaginative and the drivers were insane. But those high points are short lived and easy to overlook.
- Story:
- This is actually a very good part of the game. It is a story that doesn't take itself too seriously. The creator showers the player with jokes and clever writing. Unfortunately, the dialogue changes fast, giving the player the feeling of not knowing whether to be sad or happy.
- Graphics:
- Wow. They just...wow. It honestly leaves me with the question "Are they even trying?" For everything they made, I get what they were going for, but they didn't achieve it at all.
- Recap:
- This game has some good ideas with potential, but they just didn't get that.
- 2/10
- Buy this game if you can stand bad graphics and play games for what they might have been. However, for everyone else, I recommend avoiding this terrible game.
