  1. All those elements do factor into my score, but those aren't the only factors. As the review represents my opinion, I should look at my opinion. There are thousands of tiny little things that factor into and contribute to my opinion. Not only of vast numbers, but of differing weights, and they are all unique to each opinion.

  3. Detailing them in an itemized list would not only be pointless, but it would be extremely time-consuming, if not impossible, to make a system that addresses 100% of everything. That's why generalized systems are used. That's also why generalized systems fail to accurately address the big picture, easily leading to vapid reviews if not used carefully.

  5. Scoring systems should be seen as a suggestion, rather than an outline. I.e. use them as a "launchpad" to figure out what you liked and didn't like, thus making you think about and decide upon a conclusive opinion. You don't have to use it, but it helps if you can't think of anything, or are inexperienced with writing your personal account. Relying on it, though, is a mistake.
