Everything since that point has been a show trial.
I'm just watching to see how the mods continue to destroy what's left of their credibility by ignoring the community to push a personal agenda.

You (/u/ksryn) saw through this smokescreen and a few others did too.

If you and a few others didn't reach out, there would have been no defense against this.

The mod team proposed an all or nothing approach, pushing a solution they knew full well the community would not accept so they could say see "we listened to the community! they don't want what we proposed! we'll just keep on truckin! crisis averted!"  Which is great if you are thinking as far as tomorrow, but what happens when the usenet clown car collapses under it's own weight?

Too many clowns, too many.

Users, indexer staff, and even a dev agreed, which was surprising. Some are finally trying to look beyond their own agendas and consider larger issues in a rational context.

I'll give /u/BrettWilcox some credit, he can write. The post has an uplifting feel good tone, but it is cleverly disguised window dressing.
There is no other way to interpret this thread than a whitewash of events over the past week.
