Friend Safari General FAQs


Q: "Where can I find the Friend Safari?"
A: The Friend Safari is located in Kiloude City southeast of Vaniville Town. In order to have access to the city, you must have beaten the Elite Four and obtained the TMV Pass from Professor Sycamore. Once you've obtained the Pass, hop on the train and you will arrive.

Q: "Where's my Friend Code?"
A: 1. To access your Friend Code, go to the main menu and tap the orange smiley icon in the top bar.
   2. Slide over to your Friend Card and your Code will be displayed.

Q: "How do I add Friends?"
A: 1. To access your Friend List, go to the main menu and tap the orange smiley icon in the top bar.
   2. Press the button in the top that says "Register Friend." Enter their Friend Code
   3. At this stage, you can add a nickname for practical purposes only. It will disappear as soon as they add you. If they've added 	you, you won't have to do this.

Q: "How many people can I add as Friends?"
A: Currently, the Nintendo 3DS only allows for each system to have 100 Friends. In order to cut down, make sure you delete any redundant Safaris you have.

Q: "Is X Pokemon available in a Safari?"
A: Check here (http://pastebin.com/s41hdtPe) or here (http://serebii.net/xy/friendsafari.shtml) to see if the Pokemon you're looking for has a Safari Slot

Q: "Why hasn't this person added me yet?"
A: Believe it or not, people do have lives that often conflict with scheduling. Different Timezones also play a factor in when someone can add you. Give it some time.

Q: "Why is the 3rd Pokemon not showing up/Why can't I find any Pokemon with Hidden Abilities?"
A: Chances are, either you or the person you added hasn't connected their game to the Internet. Unfortunately, you will have to wait it out until they do. You can also try to get the person's attention in the thread and let them know that they haven't connected yet.

Q: "What happens if I delete someone from my Friend List?"
A: That person's Safari will be removed

Q: "What if they delete me?"
A: The Safari will NOT be removed as they are still technically in your Friend List
