Tents dominated the now x controlled outer rim of the city, some were hospitals while others served as tents for the thousands of refugees and soldiers. Gunfire was exchanged between both sides, with x happily welcoming support from x as the coalition of soldiers killed dozens of the guerillas which desperately tried to ward off the attack on the bullet ridden capital building, which had taken a sizeable amount of damage. The west wing of the building now had a large hole, which had been transformed into a makeshift guard post housing .50 caliber machine guns.

 The smell of copper and gasoline drifted though the air as thick crimson liquid poured from open wounds, flies happily feasting upon the recently deceased soldiers, the hot sun beating down on the city...which was a mere shadow of its former self.

 Snipers stationed on roofs opposite of the capital buildings took shots at the guerillas, the bodies crumbling down with little resistance to never get back up again. The bodies of lifeless men strewn on the floors of the corridors, staining the floors red. Their weapons laying besides them, still warm from having been handled moments ago.

Medics rushed between the scene, taking the severely wounded to safety while treating minor injuries. If one soldier fell, he was immediately replaced. There was no vacancy in the hospital tents which were bustling with field surgeons and medics attending the wounded, men lay in cots writhing in pain and sobbing quietly as the carnage outside continued.

 Soldiers who were replacing others had to wade through the mud which consisted of urine and blood among other things. Dirt and grime covered the faces and bodies of the young soldiers as they shot their rifles at the Capital building, directing their fire to the heavy weapons which had been pinning them down.
 Soon, the combined forces charged into the crumbling building, immediately gathering any and all intelligence while gunning down any threats. Hundred of soldiers poured into the city, seizing control of the area and providing a steady supply of able bodied men in the small gun battles which raged on. Shortly after, the Red Cross of x arrived, providing humanitarian aid for the malnourished population as QRF units conducted searches for missing soldiers and civilians.
