  1. ----- Year 5 --- Day 156 -----
  2. I woke to the chirp of birds and a ringing headache, as I opened my eyes the blinding sunlight made me recoil in pain, I looked around after a few seconds trying to grasp my surroundings, only to find I didn't recognise a thing. I reached to my left only to find my pack along with my bow and a small creature curled up by my side. A closer inspection revealed it to be a bright white rabbit. I pet it for a second before it awoke and scurried off, I sighed and slung my pack onto my back and my bow over my right shoulder and I decided to climb the tree I was set against. Its rough bark seemed familiar to my hands yet; somehow different though I couldn't pick up why... As I reached the top of the old oak tree a cool summer breeze began to flow through my hair, soothing the panic in the pit of my stomach. The hint of freshly cut grass seeped into my nose as I turned eastward. A large field of what looked like apple trees spanning for miles, rows lined much like a tightly knit army battalion.

  4. I climbed down shortly before leaping down the rest of the way, The ringing in the back of mind coming to the forefront like a city bell. After a few moments I took back to walking south east, keeping inside the tree line that bordered the plains snaking between the two forests of oak and apple. As I tracked along the border of the forest I came across a few woodland animals. Rabbits like the one that awoke me, a few squirrels and a miasma of flies, spiders and other distasteful bugs. A few moments later my headache cleared and a new pain ached me, My stomach grumbled which heightened my awareness to the fauna around me.

  6. A small darkly coloured pegasus entering the forest to my left brought my bow out and my hands loaded it ready in a practiced haste, I leapt up into the nearest tree and lay in wait for my prey to approach. The Pegasus seemed to be carrying a basket on its back, using its lithe wings to pick small sapphire colored berries from a nearby bush. I noticed that as it approached the Pegasus seemed to be humming... Something I had not been aware they were capable of doing, I waited for it to approach slightly before losing my bow aiming for its neck. The Pegasus instantly reacted, Shooting into the sky with a weightless grace. It seemed to scream with fear as it fled eastward, leaving the basket of berries strewn on the forest floor. Another peculiar trait... Where exactly was I?

  8. After picking up the basket and slicing one open and rubbing it on my skin to see if they were poisonous, I happily sauntered southwards, keeping my left side to the open plains, my bow at the ready for if I came into contact with another of these strange Pegasi. After walking for an hour or so and pondering where I could actually be as I came across a railroad. Which was strange considering how rare they were to see, only appearing in the great cities. Certainly not in the north where mostly farming villages were common. I decided to follow the track eastwards keeping to the treeline for cover. The train line continue for a hour or so before it entered a tunnel, The mountain of which it was housed was covered in trees and brush, barely revealing its true stony nature. I decided it best to scale the mountain, rather than risk being run over by a train. When I reached the peak of the small mount, A sprawling town revealed itself to me, bright straw roofs and cream walls made up the majority of the town, But that wasn't what took me by surprise; what did was the hundred or so multicoloured horses walking around the town, going in and out of the buildings. I decided (After much internal debate as to where the hell i was...) I would explore the town in a few hours, Once the sun had decided to creep down beyond the horizon and the cool autumn wind started picking up.

  10. After building a simple fire pit and laying out some leaf heavy branches, I sat in the content of the warmth despite the cool wind lapping at my back. The small town seemed to spring into light as the moon crept over the western mountain range. One thing which caught my eye whilst gazing towards the town was that pegasi seemed to be moving around clouds, as well as standing upon them. A few hours later With the moon now high in the sky, I sighed having to leave the warming embrace of the fire behind, I slung my gear onto my back and began to make the trek down towards the small dimly lit pastel town hoping I could figure out what the hell was going on, And why the different mythical horses seemed to have new found powers. And of course the most important question on my mind, Why they seemed to have congregated and formed a town in the middle of the harsh northern landscapes...

  14. As I traced a path down the short mountain I crossed paths with a lion The thing that confused my the most about it, was the fact that it had a tail of a scorpion. I approached it cautiously whilst keeping up within the trees, I stopped a couple metres away from it and pulled out my diary too see If I had encountered this form of creature before.
