- Hey Alan, Kris, everyone. I have been attempting to install vanilla freebsd (12 current) on my laptop, and upon successfully installing and rebooting, I try to run pkg update. Instead of performing as expected, I get /usr/lib/libpkg.so.3 Error: undefined variable "dirname". I love bsd, but have never run into this error before, and can't seem to figure out a fix. Any help would be much appreciated! I am a long time listener and love the show!
