PPG:DOT 100% Route

This route was written by Olystice (twitch.tv/olystice or twitter.com/olystice) with help from DeadRobots/ManifestMechanics (twitch.tv/ManifestMechanics) and Symm (twitch.tv/symm_).

This varies from the other routes of the game due to the fact the save glitch is not used. In tested cases it either a) was slower or b) led to a softlock. There may be some other unknown glitches or applications of the save glitch, but as of now this is the known fastest route. That being said, this may NOT be the fastest route. However, it was tested and theorized with other rooms and routes through rooms, but altogether it contains the least amount of backtracking which therefor saves time.

As with the Mojo's Key Quest route I made, this also has an accompanying map (also made by me).

It's important to note the map does not list the route and should be used in conjunction with this guide. The map itself only contains reference names and items in each room.


A couple more notes before the route begins.
CAV - The Caves, the brown rooms on the map.
SEW - The Sewers, the gray rooms on the map.
CIT - The City, the dark blue rooms on the map.
FAC - The Factory, the light blue rooms on the map.

There will be parts of the route where it lists something like "CAV1-2-10-11-12" which means "From CAV1 go to CAV2, to CAV10, to CAV11, to CAV12." Meaning just go through as fast as possible, don't clear the rooms as it either a) has already been cleared or b) will be cleared in the future. There are inconsistencies in how the guide is written. For example in the first segment it lists "CAV3, CAV4, CAV5, CAV6" on separate lines, whereas a few lines down it will just list "CAV9-6-7". They mean the same thing.
