  1. GM (GM): Nah, sure, maybe.
  2. Speaking of, 10 passed. Everybody ready?
  3.
  4. C. Jeffrey: Ready as I'll ever be
  5.
  6. Martin Baron: Sure.
  7.
  8. Suule: Yep
  9.
  10. GM (GM): Okay.
  11.
  12. Clayton R.: sure
  13.
  14. GM (GM): First off, Doc:
  15. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B9zUbKbVjWUBcTRWdDZqaTN1bXc
  16. Changes: Some new gear.
  17. Not in the upload but I'll put it up later: and encounter table.
  18. We'll be using that today.
  19.
  20. Martin Baron: Something for other GM's to base their encounters off of?
  21.
  22. GM (GM): Yes.
  23. ...Let me find my notebook here.
  24. Yeah, it's an encounter table. Details who or what and how much.
  25. It'll be in the doc by the end of the day.
  26. anyway...
  27.
  28. We begin
  29.
  30. with the assistance of some passersby an attempt on the mayor has been thwarted!
  31.
  32. Claudius Silvanus: (( The others are gone huh? Well damn... ))
  33.
  34. Jonathan Sommer clutches his stab wound, forcing a smile as he faces the mayor and his little assistant.
  35.
  36. GM (GM): ((Well, not everyone can make it sometimes.))
  37.
  38. Jonathan Sommer: "We gave a talk... didn't work. Anything else you want?"
  39.
  40. Clayton R. is still back at Mallard's place, trying to get a new blaster.
  41.
  42. Claudius Silvanus quickly disconnects his gear as he sees Jonatan's stab wound and runs to him "Holy Christ. You need a doctor stat."
  43.
  44. Jonathan Sommer: "Nah, I just need a new attire! Hahahaha..."
  45.
  46. GM (GM): Proceed to hospital/mallards?
  47.
  48. Jonathan Sommer: ((Can the mayor come with?))
  49.
  50. GM (GM): Sure!
  51.
  52. Jonathan Sommer: ((Sure))
  53.
  54. Claudius Silvanus carries Jon all the way there
  55.
  56. Martin Baron shambles out of the bar, prevented from abusing his "free alcohol tokens" for his bouncer work and topside scavenging any further. He decides that grouping up with the others would be the best idea and tries his damned hardest to walk where they might be.
  57.
  58. Martin Baron: ( Want me to roll for successfully finding them GM? )
  59.
  60. GM (GM): Sure
  61.
  62. Martin Baron: ( Or use that encounter table you were talking about? )
  63. ( Can have it near the group so it wouldn't just be me hogging the combat. )
  64.
  65. GM (GM): ( it's normally for wastes but sure, what the hell.)
  66.
  67. Martin Baron: rolling 1d100
  68. (95)= 95
  69.
  70. Jonathan Sommer: ((Clayton could use some company))
  71.
  72. GM (GM): 95, abandoned stuff.
  73. roll again.
  74.
  75. Martin Baron: ( Cool. )
  76. rolling 1d100
  77. (9)= 9
  78. ( 9 = pit of teeth. )
  79.
  80. GM (GM): You found an abandoned building.
  81.
  82. Martin Baron: ( Cool. )
  83.
  84. GM (GM): You can scavenge for food or roll again.
  85.
  86. Jonathan Sommer: ((Hmm... Remember where that is. We could use it.))
  87.
  88. Clayton R.: (( How can there be an abandoned building in a place like Endtown? ))
  89.
  90. Martin Baron: ( Sure, might as well. )
  91. ( Rats busted in )
  92.
  93. GM (GM): (Really shouldn't be)
  94.
  95. Martin Baron: ( Another criminal gang busted the place up )
  96. ( Killed a chick )
  97.
  98. GM (GM): rolling 1d100
  99. (73)= 73
  100.
  101. Martin Baron: ( No skill in scavenging, straight roll then. )
  102. rolling 1d100
  103. (24)= 24
  104.
  105. GM (GM): rolling 1d100
  106. (84)= 84
  107. There in this abandoned building you encounter a wandering group of craftsman.
  108. They can repair or build crap.
  109. Hospital!
  110. Claud sommer and walt are brought there. Dottie looks like a pressure keg ready to blow.
  111.
  112. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh hey dancer lizard))
  113.
  114. Martin Baron: ( Awesome. How much for fixing a Lalamar Scale Military Vest from 270 to 320? )
  115.
  116. GM (GM): ($300 dollar.)
  117.
  118. Earrtet Acroud : (( i was a gator/croc))
  119.
  120. Martin Baron: ( Nice to meet you Earrtet. )
  121.
  122. Jonathan Sommer: ((Right, the one that took a bite out of Spider-Dude))
  123.
  124. Martin Baron: ( Sold. )
  125.
  126. Jonathan Sommer: "Uh, thanks, Claude."
  127.
  128. Martin Baron pulls out $300 to pay for his dinged up vest. The money is damp and smells oddly like alcohol.
  129.
  130. GM (GM): There at the hospital surgeons patch up Sommer, you have your gauze and stitches but otherwise no worse for wear.
  131. Dottie breaks her silence...
  132.
  133. Jonathan Sommer: ((How much do I heal up?))
  134.
  135. Dottie: this is getting ridiculous.
  136.
  137. GM (GM): ( 45 hp.)
  138.
  139. Claudius Silvanus looks at Jon that che carries "Quite frankly Jon, you're no princess you're more of a qu..." before getting punched in the rib by Dottie
  140.
  141. Earrtet Acroud : ((is there slings in this game?))
  142.
  143. Dottie: These idiots knocked New Persia into submission and now they want to do the same here.
  144.
  145. Martin Baron: ( Like rock slings? )
  146.
  147. Earrtet Acroud : yes
  148. ((yes)
  149.
  150. GM (GM): (( Err, no.
  151.
  152. Jonathan Sommer: "Slander, Mr. Walt. I don't even know what New Persia is."
  153.
  154. Jonathan Sommer continues clutching his stab wound for sympathy points.
  155.
  156. GM (GM): (( Eh, standard throwing rules apply, I'd say, just a longer range.))
  157. ( rock: 1d10+10)
  158.
  159. Walt: Well, colonies have a policy of staying out of eachother's way. If one gets taken over by loons, then that's their problem.
  160.
  161. Claudius Silvanus: What about if yours gets taken over?
  162.
  163. Walt: Then that's how it goes.
  164.
  165. Claudius Silvanus narrows his eyes at Walt. "Goldie at least would put up a fight."
  166.
  167. Walt: the whole idea is that if a colony pushes on another colony then it's going back to the war based society we were before WW3.
  168.
  169. GM (GM): (( Who is goldie?))
  170.
  171. Claudius Silvanus: (( That's who you called the leader of Deep City ))
  172.
  173. GM (GM): (Max Gold, right. )
  174.
  175. Walt: Hey now, we defend ourselves just fine.
  176.
  177. Jonathan Sommer: "You do, Mr. Walt... especially with our help. Now talking about our past dues..."
  178.
  179. Walt: So you want a reward?
  180.
  181. Claudius Silvanus points to the dock "Just like there?"
  182.
  183. Claudius Silvanus points up to the surface "Or up there?"
  184.
  185. Jonathan Sommer nudges Claude and whispers, "Hush now."
  186.
  187. Walt: Well, you convinced me! Let's get some blasters, crank them up, and blast the shit out of everything in New Persia's direction!
  188. Why stop there?! I'm sure there are some other wretches that won't fall in line! Let's just blast some more and eventually the ones that obey will crawl from the wreckage!
  189.
  190. Claudius Silvanus: ( Damn if only Clay and Martin here )
  191.
  192. Walt: Getting the hint you maple sucking ?!
  193.
  194. Martin Baron: ( Roll again to shamble into the hospital? )
  195.
  196. Clayton R.: (( I'm there in spirit, just imagine it really mad at you ))
  197.
  198. GM (GM): No, in your shamblings you saw the hospital and thought, "Yeah, they are probably there."
  199.
  200. Claudius Silvanus tries hard not to facepalm, his eye twitching slightly
  201.
  202. Jonathan Sommer: ((Angry eyebrows drawn on his helmet))
  203.
  204. Martin Baron: ( Alright then. Really love random chance though. )
  205.
  206. Jonathan Sommer: "Guys, guys, guys... what's important that everyone's alive, breathing..."
  207. "Open to receive..."
  208. "So, yes, a reward would be nice."
  209.
  210. Dottie: The magic man is right, right now we are okay.
  211. the owls that were threatening us are in security and they'll rattle them up abit.
  212.
  213. Claudius Silvanus steps out of the room "I need a moment to cool off..." to bump into the drunk hare... "...oh bother"
  214.
  215. Martin Baron somehow regroups with the others, eyes bloodshot red and smelling like he took a bath in liquor. He can barely tell who the others are talking too, but he gives them a friendly wave, almost tripping over his own feet and falling to the ground in the process of doing so.
  216.
  217. Jonathan Sommer: "So, Mayor Walt, can you give me one thing more than anything else in the world?"
  218.
  219. Walt: A child's laughter? What?
  220.
  221. Martin Baron: "Mwaah... Claud..." Martin starts, taking a few seconds to orient himself. Rubbing his face, he finally continues, "Yeah, Claud... What'ssssh going on?"
  222.
  223. Jonathan Sommer gives a warm smile.
  224.
  225. Jonathan Sommer: "A large foundation to call home."
  226.
  227. Claudius Silvanus sighs "Jon's been stabbed, I'm pissed off and there's Owls from New Persia that are trying to kill the colony. Nothing new!"
  228.
  229. Walt: ...Do you mean like a literal slab of concrete or what?
  230.
  231. Jonathan Sommer: "Walls and a roof would be nice, but I'm not picky."
  232.
  233. Walt: ...Eh, sure.
  234.
  235. Jonathan Sommer stands up straight, grabbing Walt's hand to give a big shake.
  236.
  237. Jonathan Sommer: "Thank you, thank you, Mr. Walt!"
  238.
  239. Walt: new play opened up actually. It needs some repairs but what the hell.
  240.
  241. GM (GM): place
  242. Meanwhile!
  243.
  244. Martin Baron: "Aw no... That'ssssh not..." he says, pausing as he tries to find the right word. Giving up, he answers, "That'ssssh not... unbad, yeah..."
  245.
  246. GM (GM): (Sorry, brain fart.)
  247.
  248. Clayton, Cas, and Earttet go to see mallard. Partially because of blasters, partially because it's something new citizens usually do!
  249.
  250. Claudius Silvanus growls at Martin "You're drunk..."
  251.
  252. GM (GM): ((He's been drinking out of a beaker.))
  253.
  254. Clayton R. is quick to get on Mallard's case. "Fixed the issues, my ass! I've had one blow up on me, and the other disintegrate in my hand before I could pop a single shot off!"
  255.
  256. GM (GM): Without much fanfair the trio get into mallard's lab. There the duck is taking a lizard man's vitals with an array of weird tools.
  257.
  258. Martin Baron: "Whaht, you expect meee... to not be after the... #$(*&%^ birdsh?"
  259. ( Wait, lizard man? Juan?! )
  260.
  261. Mallard: ...If this is about the toasters then you should read your warranty: Not compatible with bread.
  262.
  263. Earrtet Acroud : (( why is there a molten morman here?))
  264.
  265. Clayton R. frowns, half taken aback by his nonchalant-ness about it. "No... I'm talking about your blasters. They are still blowing up."
  266.
  267. Mallard: Ah, did you get them wet?
  268.
  269. Clayton R. sighs, "Not certain, but unlikely... Shouldn't they be waterproff anyway?"
  270.
  271. Juan: Well, maybe you should?
  272.
  273. Mallard: Well, you're not a smoking crater so I'd say it's progress. I've got another generation of models you can use but this time, please don't break them.
  274.
  275. Clayton R. stops, staring at the lizard. "Juan..? I never thought I'd see you again..." He shakes his head, turning back to Mallard, "point is, I need another blaster."
  276.
  277. Clayton R. nods, alright, sure.. not like I'm gonna live forever.
  278.
  279. Mallard: Ah, that's not Juan.
  280.
  281. Jonathan Sommer: ((He's two weeks from retirement))
  282.
  283. Mallard: I wasn't able to heal him so I made a robot double.
  284.
  285. Martin Baron: ( Wh-what happened to Juan? )
  286.
  287. Claudius Silvanus: (( FUCKING CHRIST MALLARD ))
  288.
  289. Mallard: He has Juan's memories but don't tell him he's a robot. His mind won't handle it.
  290.
  291. Juan: I'm a robot?!
  292.
  293. Clayton R. 's eyes widen. "Christ... Is this a mutt chassis you're using..?"
  294.
  295. Juan screams and he falls back flailing wildly.
  296.
  297. Jonathan Sommer: ((That's not a good sign))
  298.
  299. Mallard: Everyone hit the deck! Why did you tell him he was a robot?! Why?!
  300.
  301. Everyone make a dodge roll!
  302.
  303. Clayton R. stares at the robot, a bit unsure how to approach the situation. He only reacts once Mallard yells to duck.
  304.
  305. Martin Baron: ( Even us?! )
  306.
  307. Clayton R.: rolling 1d100+35
  308. (95)+35= 130
  309.
  310. Jonathan Sommer: ((He's a tornado of destruction!))
  311.
  312. GM (GM): Sure.
  313. Cas, Earttet, you wanna take damage?!
  314.
  315. Martin Baron: rolling 1d100+45
  316. (45)+45= 90
  317. ( Cas is gone )
  318.
  319. GM (GM): Pity.
  320.
  321. Earrtet Acroud : ( have 9 agl so i just add 45)
  322.
  323. Jonathan Sommer: ((SERGEI!))
  324.
  325. GM (GM): That's right.
  326.
  327. Earrtet Acroud : rolling 1d100 + 45
  328. (26)+45= 71
  329.
  330. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+35
  331. (85)+35= 120
  332.
  333. Omega Crab: (Hello! Sorry for being super late today. There were unforeseen complications.)
  334.
  335. Claudius Silvanus: rolling 1d100+30
  336. (98)+30= 128
  337.
  338. GM (GM): ( No prob! Roll dodge!)
  339.
  340. Jonathan Sommer: ((Want to roll again, Claude?))
  341.
  342. Claudius Silvanus: (( Haha ))
  343.
  344. Juan flails for a bit then goes limp.
  345.
  346. He sits up laughing and clapping his hands, "I told you they would fall for it."
  347.
  348. Jonathan Sommer: ((Oh Juan!))
  349.
  350. Earrtet Acroud : I sort of wished that you exploded right now
  351.
  352. Juan: Nah, I've been healed for a month. I just keep getting checkups being the only surivivor of z-exposure and all.
  353.
  354. Martin Baron: ( Juan is bae )
  355.
  356. Clayton R. stands back up, glaring at the Juanbot now. "Hilarious... good to hear you've pulled through though." He turns to retrieve his new blaster from Mallard.
  357.
  358. GM (GM): Mallard produces four blasters. Here you go. I guarantee these won't go nuclear.
  359.
  360. Clayton R.: "Sure you do..."
  361. "guess we'll find out. "
  362.
  363. You gain four blasters! One for each of you there.
  364.
  365. Juan: Alright Chicos I'm off. If you need a desert guide let me know.
  366.
  367. Clayton R. tucks his away neatly, "Don't forget to teach 'em how to use it..."
  368.
  369. Earrtet Acroud : "If it does go nuclear it better have a long fuse or some warning to at least improve as a gernade"
  370.
  371. Clayton R. waves back to Juan. "later... maybe I'll catch you again sometime."
  372.
  373. Mallard: Pfft. Point the pointy bit and squeeze the trigger. We're Neatherlandians! We know how to work a gun.
  374. That's a good idea. I'll write that down!
  375.
  376. Clayton R.: "You'd be surprised Mallard. Thanks for the gun."
  377.
  378. 5 minutes pass. Dottie has called everyone infront of the clocktower.
  379.
  380. Jonathan Sommer smirks. "Is this the celebration parade?"
  381.
  382. Martin Baron is happy to be back with the others, still smashed from earlier.
  383.
  384. Dottie: Not really. I want to dock with you about the talk incident.
  385. ...That didn't come out right.
  386.
  387. Clayton R. stands to the back. He feels he is in the clear right now.
  388.
  389. Martin Baron giggles at Dottie's mistake, somewhat unaware of what happened there.
  390.
  391. Dottie: We need to do something about these bird bandits. Two attacks in one day? I mean, really?
  392.
  393. Jonathan Sommer feels his heart beating louder.
  394.
  395. Jonathan Sommer: "I have a suggestion."
  396.
  397. Claudius Silvanus looks at John near him "I swear if it's a swindle..." he whispers
  398.
  399. GM (GM): Dottie is paying attention.
  400.
  401. Jonathan Sommer whispers back to Claude, "Oh, why would I do such a thing?"
  402.
  403. Earrtet Acroud : "We get owl statues, they worked for stopping bird from ruining my pool before."
  404.
  405. Jonathan Sommer: "Just transfer the two survivors from the docks to my new place. I'll get info from there."
  406.
  407. Dottie: ponders for a long quiet moment. Sure.
  408.
  409. Claudius Silvanus quirks a brow at Jon "I think you're more than just a street magician... wise guy."
  410.
  411. Dottie: go up to Security, find out what they want, and make them leave us alone.
  412.
  413. Jonathan Sommer: "'Course."
  414.
  415. Proceed to security?
  416.
  417. Jonathan Sommer whispers back to Claude before going, "You don't know the half of it."
  418.
  419. Martin Baron: ( I'm lucky that Dottie doesn't recognize me. )
  420.
  421. Jonathan Sommer: ((Yup))
  422.
  423. Clayton R.: (( ye ))
  424.
  425. GM (GM): (( She does, she just thinks you have a problem. ))
  426. You sprint to the security holding cells.
  427.
  428. Martin Baron: ( Well I'm glad she forgave and forgot the whole murder thing. )
  429.
  430. GM (GM): There under flask's supervision you oversee the prisoners.
  431.
  432. Jonathan Sommer: "Uh, Sergei, isn't it? Mind grabbing my friends there?"
  433.
  434. GM (GM): ( She is very, very forgiving.)
  435.
  436. Martin Baron tries his hardest not to look Flask in the eye. Or anywhere else for that matter, thinking if he doesn't look at her she wont recognize him.
  437.
  438. Earrtet Acroud : (( is canablism a problem? Also here are something i found for the owl https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XfMErZ-5fs)
  439.
  440. Jonathan Sommer: ((Yes, it is))
  441.
  442. Clayton R. is less than ecstatic to run into Flask again. he puts on his topsider helmet, makes it a lot easier hide what he's thinking.
  443.
  444. GM (GM): (( Incredibly. ))
  445.
  446. Omega Crab Sergei nods. "Da."
  447.
  448. GM (GM): You lift the two owls, your hands completely around their long necks.
  449.
  450. Claudius Silvanus is staying out of this... he doesn't like anything like that at all
  451.
  452. Clayton R. eyes the remains at the back of the room
  453.
  454. GM (GM): Flask chimes in, if this doesn't work we can just put them under the brain scanner.
  455.
  456. Jonathan Sommer: "Oh trust me... this will work."
  457.
  458. Martin Baron: ( Want me to try and see if my drunk intimidation is still kicking? )
  459.
  460. Clayton R. nods, not really a bad idea
  461.
  462. Jonathan Sommer: "Now if there are no complainin', we should get goin'."
  463.
  464. Martin Baron: ( Wait, weren't there 3 bird prisoners? )
  465.
  466. Jonathan Sommer: ((They're dead, Jim))
  467.
  468. Martin Baron: ( Ah well. )
  469.
  470. GM (GM): ( Technically they are still in the room.)
  471.
  472. Jonathan Sommer motions Sergei as he leaves for the door.
  473.
  474. GM (GM): ( one moment.
  475.
  476. Omega Crab Sergei keeps holding the owl without any issue, waiting patiently in complete silence.
  477.
  478. Jonathan Sommer examines the place.
  479.
  480. Claudius Silvanus: (( YOu can cut me out of here GM. Claude doesn't want part in this ))
  481.
  482. GM (GM): Yep, its a vacant building.
  483. Stripped of all decoration save for poor lighting and bricks.
  484. There appears to be abit of trash left here and there.
  485. Also
  486. There appears to be a band of craftsmen that were hanging around.
  487.
  488. Jonathan Sommer puts on an annoyed scowl. "Ya'll clear out now!"
  489.
  490. GM (GM): There also appears to be no roof on this place, just for walls and a floor.
  491. The crew make rude gestures.
  492.
  493. Jonathan Sommer: "Eh, wrong move. Hmm..."
  494.
  495. Owly: So, are you going anywhere with this?
  496.
  497. Jonathan Sommer: "Well, we're already here, aren't we?"
  498.
  499. Owloo: That is correct. And...? Are you going to try to torure us or something?
  500.
  501. Earrtet Acroud : Earrtet Whispers "Did we clip the owls wings in case of and mishaps?"
  502.
  503. Omega Crab Sergei looks around boredly, swaying his trunk idly. "Is weak feathery creature going to talk? Sergei wonders if he can throw the filthy things into garbage already."
  504.
  505. Earrtet Acroud : (( any ))
  506.
  507. Jonathan Sommer turns to Clayton. "Hornet Head, any ideas of getting rid of the witnesses?"
  508.
  509. GM (GM): ( Of course not.)
  510.
  511. Martin Baron: ( I got an idea )
  512.
  513. Jonathan Sommer: ((Shoot))
  514.
  515. Clayton R. shakes his head. "This is your gig buddy."
  516.
  517. Clayton R.: "I'm ready to assume the more important mission."
  518.
  519. Earrtet Acroud : ( it better be pouring hot water over them so it be easyer to pluck thier feathers off)
  520.
  521. Jonathan Sommer: "Yeah, yeah, whatever."
  522.
  523. Martin Baron gives a sloppy wave to the craftsmen, "Hey guysssh! Thanksh again for fixshin' my suit!" Like before, Martin takes a second to make sure his feet are still on the ground, and continues. "It'sssh... Happy Hour at the bar guysh! Drinksh are half a free beer tab each!"
  524.
  525. Martin Baron: ( Roll for mind? )
  526.
  527. Jonathan Sommer: ((That'll do it))
  528.
  529. GM (GM): Nah, they believe you as clear as you are drunk, providing evidence of your claim.
  530.
  531. Martin Baron: ( Cool. )
  532.
  533. GM (GM): They leave.
  534.
  535. Jonathan Sommer: "You're a real pal, Martin."
  536.
  537. Jonathan Sommer grins as he fiddles with the knife on his wrist launcher.
  538.
  539. Jonathan Sommer: ((I'm guessing the owls are restrained?))
  540.
  541. GM (GM): ( Yep.
  542.
  543. Jonathan Sommer: "You can lay 'em down, Sergei."
  544.
  545. GM (GM): The owls squint, "We tried settling this peacefully. Whatever you do to us will be a sunday drive compared to what we'll do back!"
  546.
  547. Omega Crab Sergei slowly sets the owls down, wiping his hands off after he does it. "Sergei thinks that two owls is too much. We need just one."
  548.
  549. Martin Baron: "Yeah man... None problemsh."
  550.
  551. Jonathan Sommer checks to make sure Claude is out before pulling out the knife.
  552.
  553. GM (GM): Are you going to roll intimidate?
  554.
  555. Jonathan Sommer: ((Not yet))
  556.
  557. Claudius Silvanus doesn't want any of this and goes wandering through the town
  558.
  559. Earrtet Acroud : "Anyone got a coin? We could flip it to decide."
  560.
  561. Martin Baron is uninterested in the group of owls and the group's interrogation, instead deciding to search about the building for anything. Maybe more alcohol.
  562.
  563. Jonathan Sommer: "Hmm... I'll take the tough guy. You and Sergei can have the other one."
  564.
  565. GM (GM): They are both exactly the same.
  566.
  567. Martin Baron: ( I'm gonna roll scavenge for stuff. Maybe stuff to hit the birds with. Or drinks. )
  568. rolling 1d100
  569. (67)= 67
  570.
  571. Jonathan Sommer: ((Owloo, then))
  572.
  573. GM (GM): You find: 10hp worth of scrap, some cans and empty oil drums.
  574. This place isn't offering too much
  575. Wait! You found a wooden box.
  576.
  577. Martin Baron: ( WHAT'S IN THE BOX? )'
  578.
  579. GM (GM): In the box you find, a very very old wooden pipe.
  580. It shines under it's thick layer of liquor.
  581.
  582. Jonathan Sommer: "Well... anyone else wanna back out?"
  583.
  584. Owloo: I would like to back out.
  585.
  586. Martin Baron: ( under it's thick layer of liquor? )
  587.
  588. Jonathan Sommer: "You're not anyone yet, friend."
  589.
  590. GM (GM): ( sorry, lacquer.)
  591.
  592. Earrtet Acroud : (so i got a cat o 9 tails, do i go all dungeon master on them?)
  593.
  594. Martin Baron: ( I want to drink the wooden pipe. )
  595.
  596. Jonathan Sommer smirks as he pulls out his knife.
  597.
  598. Jonathan Sommer: ((https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DohRa9lsx0Q))
  599.
  600. Martin Baron takes the scrap metal and puts it in his pack. Maybe moose man would appreciate... whatever the hell this is. He also takes the wooden pipe, unsure of it's purpose or reason for being here. Still, looks nice.
  601.
  602. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+25

  604.
  605. GM (GM): rolling 1d100+45

  607. Your pschotic gesturing pressures the owls!
  608. They divulge that they were planning a multiprong attack: Attack your security cameras, intimidate your leaders, and if all else failed, secure a weapon to threaten the colony.
  609. You have thwarted their first two and now the last is in play.
  610. The explain that the birds are in route to their means of victory right now!
  611. With that, the question lies before you, what to do with these guys now and what to about the final attack?
  612.
  613. Earrtet Acroud : "So what do we do with the feathered foes now that we got the info?"
  614.
  615. Clayton R. frowns, "Sounds like we should be heading to get that missile."
  616.
  617. Martin Baron: ( Squeeze them for any last bit of info? )
  618.
  619. Jonathan Sommer: "Mighty generous of ya."
  620.
  621. Jonathan Sommer sticks his knife just above the owl's kneecap.
  622.
  623. Omega Crab: em Sergei pauses and listens to the owls unamusedly. "So is that the time to finally throw garbage burgeosie birds in the garbage dump?"
  624.
  625. GM (GM): The bird reacts accordingly and loudly.
  626.
  627. Jonathan Sommer: "ANYTHING ELSE?"
  628.
  629. GM (GM): They tell you that's about it.
  630.
  631. Martin Baron: ( about it? There might be a bit more? )
  632.
  633. GM (GM): They say that most of the Winds' fighting force is in this operation so things are on the line with them.
  634.
  635. Earrtet Acroud : (who had the pipe? i want to shove it down the through of the one that broked under pressure.)
  636.
  637. GM (GM): Martin, and that is his pipe now!
  638.
  639. Martin Baron: ( It's my pipe, and I want to keep it pretty. )
  640.
  641. Jonathan Sommer pulls out the knife.
  642.
  643. GM (GM): The owl, seeing a moment of vengence kicks at you!
  644. rolling 1d100+15

  646. Try to parry?
  647.
  648. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+35
  649. (68)+35= 103
  650.
  651. GM (GM): The birds talons swooshes but misses anything vital
  652. Perhaps they have become resistant now.
  653.
  654. Jonathan Sommer chuckles and turns to Clayton.
  655.
  656. Jonathan Sommer: "I'm sure you have an idea of this town's chances..."
  657. "Is this a waste of our time for ya?"
  658.
  659. GM (GM): Turn them back to security?
  660.
  661. Martin Baron: ( Should invent a perk that makes it so they can bypass one melee parry, at least per combat match. )
  662.
  663. Jonathan Sommer: ((Nah, leave them here))
  664.
  665. GM (GM): Or maybe let them go?
  666.
  667. Jonathan Sommer: ((Lock the place up))
  668.
  669. Martin Baron: ( Where's a key? The craftsmen may return and free them. )
  670.
  671. Clayton R. shrugs. "I think we should get moving toward the silos... sounds like we got lucky and that we now have a common objective.""
  672.
  673. Martin Baron: ( They're as good as dead with Flask anyway. )
  674.
  675. GM (GM): Sommer got a key par and parcel for the deal.
  676.
  677. Claudius Silvanus: (( Pretty much ))
  678.
  679. Clayton R.: "turn them back over to security. They can't even be considered to be released until this is all over with."
  680.
  681. GM (GM): ( Well, it's flask. )
  682. Good idea!
  683.
  684. Jonathan Sommer: "Ehh... I'd rather we keep 'em here for the time being."
  685. "I haven't had much fun yet, but I guess gettin' killed my missiles hampers that."
  686. ((*by))
  687.
  688. GM (GM): Well, you do see some barrels you could stuff them into.
  689. Sure, its a clear violation of any civil law out there but what the hell!
  690.
  691. Jonathan Sommer: ((Sommer's not one for laws))
  692.
  693. Jonathan Sommer eyes Sergei and points at the owls, then at the barrels.
  694.
  695. Clayton R. shakes his head. "No! You idiot, not only are you violating Endtown law, but you will torturing them and an accomplice to crime if they are kept here. We are taking them back up to Security."
  696.
  697. Jonathan Sommer: "So... what, are you goin' to take me in as well?"
  698.
  699. GM (GM): (( Well, you guys did find Sommer outside a literal thieves den. ))
  700.
  701. Omega Crab Sergei just waits for now, staying silent.
  702.
  703. Clayton R.: "I could... but for now, you are working with us. You don't have an Endtown ID."
  704.
  705. Jonathan Sommer flashes his walrus ID with a dumb smirk.
  706.
  707. Martin Baron looks up from his pile of trash, tossing in his opinion "I saysh we just... give 'em to the pushy. Lesh worry for ush, and they don't eshchape."
  708.
  709. GM (GM): Owloo chimes in, "Couldn't have brought this up when he was stabbing my dang leg, could you?"
  710. More in favor of going to security, it seems.
  711.
  712. Clayton R. turns to the owl, "Shut up. You can't expect great treatment as a terrorist and you..." He points to Sommer, "can't keep prisoners this high profile here."
  713.
  714. Jonathan Sommer sighs and rubs his forehead with both hands.
  715.
  716. Jonathan Sommer: "... Can I come back for them?"
  717.
  718. Clayton R.: "Why?"
  719.
  720. GM (GM): (( Because he has to clock in his torture hours to get his license. ))
  721.
  722. Jonathan Sommer points at his stab wound. "Gratification, mostly."
  723.
  724. GM (GM): (( Or be a dentist.)
  725.
  726. Martin Baron: ( He's trying to flirt to Flask. )
  727.
  728. Jonathan Sommer: ((Shh, Martin))
  729.
  730. Martin Baron: ( Torturing people is the only way he can win points with her. )
  731.
  732. GM (GM): ( ...Sounds about right.)
  733.
  734. Claudius Silvanus: (( Don't stick your dick into crazy ))
  735. (( Golden rule ))
  736.
  737. Earrtet Acroud : (This sounds like some deepdarkfantasy stuff going on)
  738.
  739. GM (GM): ( That's what they said about the space program!)
  740. pitty pitty pitty you rush topside in pursuit of the final machination!
  741.
  742. Martin Baron: ( But what if the owner of the dick is crazy and wants to stick it in crazy? )
  743.
  744. Claudius Silvanus stops the group as they head out, looking upset "I'm out... Find yourself another mechanic for whatever you're planning now. I'm going back to Deep City and most certainly without you."
  745.
  746. Clayton R. shakes his head, "No... you can't. Now come on, we're losing time. If we don't hurry, we might not have a home."
  747.
  748. Claudius has left the party!
  749.
  750. Waaah, waaah.
  751.
  752. Martin Baron: "Claidiush, wait..."
  753.
  754. Clayton R. hardly has time to contemplate Claud's departure. "One day he'll see."
  755.
  756. No time to lose! You head through sec, through hershel, through the wastes, guided only by your gut instincts and fate! Also you hit the radar and spotted flying birds south abit.
  757.
  758. Earrtet Acroud : "I hardly knew him, or any one else here."
  759.
  760. WARNING this will be a jaunt, is there any npc you'd like to come with you?
  761.
  762. Martin Baron pulls out the hunk of scrap, but Claud already left. He lets it drop to the ground, a hint of sadness crossing his drunken expression. He silently continues onward with the others.
  763.
  764. Martin Baron: ( JUAN )
  765.
  766. Jonathan Sommer: ((Slug Man can stay in Endtown))
  767.
  768. Clayton R. eyes the gator, "When did you join us?"
  769.
  770. Martin Baron: ( We need a bard tho fam )
  771.
  772. Earrtet Acroud : (ill bard, im a dancer
  773.
  774. Jonathan Sommer watches Claude leave and sighs again. This is @!&#ed.
  775.
  776. Earrtet Acroud : (its close to one)
  777.
  778. Martin Baron: ( But you don't have a guitar. )
  779.
  780. GM (GM): ( Which is perfect.)
  781.
  782. Clayton R.: (( Clay just never really confronted him. ))
  783.
  784. Jonathan Sommer calms himself, putting on his mask, and follows the others.
  785.
  786. Earrtet Acroud : "We'll uh, i just sort of joined in when i kill that bug guy."
  787.

  789. Heroes never need motivation to do good!
  790. Or bite people!
  791.
  792. Clayton R. nods, I hope you can pull your weight then, this excursion won't be fun. Hershel, hone in on those birds. "
  793.
  794. Jonathan Sommer: ((Combat time?))
  795.
  796. GM (GM): Almost
  797. The birds spot you and amscra into a hole in the ground. It looks like a stair well, a subway entrance?
  798.
  799. Omega Crab Sergei just keeps his somber expression through all that, barely saying a word. "Sergei thinks birds are cowards."
  800.
  801. GM (GM): Pursue?
  802.
  803. Jonathan Sommer: ((Might as well))
  804.
  805. Martin Baron is still plastered, but past his drunkenness he's quiet throughout the trip.
  806.
  807. GM (GM): Deep in the subway.
  808. Lights flicker and a subway car creeks.
  809. Suddenly!
  810.
  811. Martin Baron: ( Oh wow, there's lights that are half working. )
  812. ( Usually they'd be busted to hell. )
  813.
  814. GM (GM): A subway car pulls away and starts flying down the tracts, the birds must be on that!
  815.
  816. Jonathan Sommer: "Well, shit."
  817.
  818. Martin Baron: ( Try to drunk run and jump onto the car? )
  819. ( Might make it. )
  820.
  821. Jonathan Sommer: ((I think they've left the station))
  822.
  823. GM (GM): Also suddenly!
  824.
  825. Claudius Silvanus: (( Would you take a chance with a third rail ))
  826.
  827. Martin Baron: ( Yes. )

  846. Huh, you think it would.
  847. Maybe I should amend that.
  848. Martin, Sommer!
  849. You see that the is waving a Zero Gun at you!
  850.
  851. Martin Baron: ( Roll to tackle? )
  852.
  853. Jonathan Sommer: "Hey, hey, hey, we're pals here!"
  854.
  855. Ratty: Stay away!
  856. I'm warning you!
  857.
  858. Jonathan Sommer puts his hands up, slowly approaching Ratty.
  859.
  860. Jonathan Sommer: "If you need something, we could have it."
  861.
  862. Clayton R. readies his blaster, setting it to drill
  863.
  864. Clayton R. lets Sommer talk for now
  865.
  866. Martin Baron: "We'sh lookin' for shome birdsh! Have you sheen shome, ya... big... fuzzy thing?"
  867.
  868. Possum: Put water down on the ground and whatever food you have!
  869. ...Your friends must have taken the other car...

  877.
  878. GM (GM): The possum steps out of the car.
  879.
  880. Jonathan Sommer: ((So close))
  881.
  882. GM (GM): Wild guess, it's a female. Very skinny, she wears a topsider suit.
  883.
  884. Jonathan Sommer smirks. "Someone you know, Hornet Head?"
  885.
  886. Clayton R.: (( oh, I finally see who this is. ))
  887.
  888. GM (GM): It appears that she is carrying very little besides a box you assume to be a home made medical kit.
  889.
  890. Martin Baron in his drunken stupor laughs and says "Why'sh you pointin' that at ush? It don't work for ush, ya idiot."
  891.
  892. Clayton R. chuckles, raising his blaster. "You aren't fooling me rat, zero guns are restricted to humans."
  893.
  894. Jonathan Sommer puts his hands down, feeling a bit silly.
  895.
  896. Valerie P. Awsum looks at Clay, shaking visibly "D... don't tempt me. Just put the food and water down and leave. Please. Just leave me alone."
  897.
  898. GM (GM): Ah geez. Everyone saw right through that so fast I should award points for it.
  899.
  900. Martin Baron: ( I know that zero guns don't work, but who is this? )
  901.
  902. Clayton R. steps closer, pausing midway. "Come on... You aren't fooling me. We're here because we have a job to do, and if you can help us, we can help you..."
  903.
  904. Martin Baron laughs again, stumbling closer to the giant hairy thing "Put that toy down... Before we here'sh get upshet."
  905.
  906. Clayton R. sighs, "ignore him, he's drunk."
  907.
  908. Valerie P. Awsum is shaking even more. She closes her eyes at the verge of crying before falling to her knees and sobbing "Please don't kill me. I'm just trying to survive here..."
  909.
  910. Jonathan Sommer eyes the train car, and motions for both the croc and the elephant to follow him.
  911.
  912. Martin Baron: "Hey... shcrew you, I may be drunk, but tomorrow I'll be... I'll be... We'll, you'll shtill be ugly!"
  913.
  914. GM (GM): ( Are you nuts? He's most dangerous when he's pissed!)
  915.
  916. Valerie P. Awsum: (( Does Endtown have a burn ward? We have a patient for that. ))
  917.
  918. Omega Crab Sergei quietly follows Jonathan without saying a word, the elephant trying to be as sneaky as possible about it.
  919.
  920. Martin Baron: ( Aw shit wait, now I get it. )
  921.
  922. Clayton R. closes the gap. "Stand up, if I wanted to kill you I would have done it... I'm more interested in how you can help us."
  923.
  924. Martin Baron: ( And when is he not pissed? )
  925.
  926. Jonathan Sommer: ((Do I roll to sneak onto the train or nah?))
  927.
  928. GM (GM): ( I was actually talking about your character. Pissed has alot of meanings, huh?)
  929. Sure
  930.
  931. Clayton R. tries to ignore Martin scathing comment.

  933. Jonathan Sommer: rolling 1d100+35

  935.
  936. Juan: pipes up. This is nice but... shouldn't we catch up to the birdos?
  937.
  938. Clayton R.: "We should."
  939.
  940. GM (GM): pajaros?
  941.
  942. Earrtet Acroud : "So who the heck is this?"

  962.
  963. Jonathan Sommer: "Ya know how to work this?"
  964.
  965. Clayton R. shrugs, "That depends where you find work... Look, can you help us track those birds?"

  980.
  981. Omega Crab Sergei shakes his head. He'd rather let Jonathan figure it out. He doesn't want to break anything by accident.

  1000.
1001. GM (GM): You can jump 21 feet or so, not worth bothering.
  1002.
1003. Martin Baron catches Jonathan's hand, making it safely onto the train. The jump looked way farther than it did from the ledge.
  1004.
1005. GM (GM): Everyone else on the other hand...
  1006.
1007. Martin Baron: "Juan! Juan, no!" Martin yells out as the train continues onward, ignoring the others stranded on the ledge.
