- Latios and Latias flew close together, Latios curved to the left as Latias flew a short distance behind him. They flew high above buildings while the sun shined right through their translucent bodies.
- They flew past the city and swam above the ocean. Their jet like bodies made the water rise from their high speeds. Latias held out an arm to feel the spraying water. She loved the sensation. She felt free when she flew like this.
- Eventually they made their way to a far away island and rested in the dense jungle like forest it housed. Latios turned once they reached their shelter and sighed. He scolded down at Latias who lowered her head from guilt. She knew he was mad. He had to go retrieve her from contacting a human she met while exploring.
- "I thought I lost you, I thought you were going to be caught and that I would never see you again." He whispered before reaching out to hug her.
- "Don't worry like that bro! I was just exploring! Besides I made sure he didn't have any of those capture devices before I went up to him."
- "What if someone nearby saw you and tried to capture you?" He snapped. She pulled back from the hug and pouted at him.
- "And so what if there was? I know you don't want me to get caught but it's so boring here. I want to adventure! I feel trapped here!" She explained while raising her arms to express herself further. Latios shook his head before leaning down close to her face. Latias glared back defiantly.
- "So you want to leave me? You want to abandon me and leave me alone?"
- "It's not that bro! I just don't wanna be cooped up on this island. You always want to stay away from the humans, but they're not as bad as you say! I've seen it!"
- "What?! And how would you know?!" Latios snapped back. Latias stretched her neck out so that their snouts met. Her yellow eyes remained locked on his crimson eyes. He couldn't help but realize how beautiful she looked this way. He couldn't let her leave him...
- "I know because unlike you I went and found out for myself!" She then growled and turned back. "If you want to stay here then fine. But you can't force me to do the same!" She then began to hover away.
- Latios snapped. She was leaving him and he couldn't allow that. He growled before reaching out both claws and grabbing her wings down against him. Latias cried out and turned around to face him.
- "What are you doing?! Let me go!"
- "No I won't let you leave me!" Latios shouted. Desperation was taking over his will. He was scared of being alone, scared that someone would take his beautiful young sister away from him; someone who was unworthy and someone who would never let him see her again. His rage began to grow from this thoughts. He swirled and forced Latias to swing the other way before crashing her against the ground.
- Latias couldn't believe what he was doing. It was the first time he ever laid a claw on her. She was about to float back up until he slashed at her wings.
- "A-ah! Brother stop it!" She cried out. Latios said nothing. He slashed again and again until his claws tore through flesh and bone. Latios couldn't believe what he was doing. She cried out for help while he tore her wing off and began to work on the next.
- When he was done Latios tossed aside her white and red colored wings like garbage. Latios was whimpering on the ground in a bloody mess before he hovered down to shush and calm her.
- "It hurts, I know. Calm down, I'll go get something to stop the bleeding now that you can't run away anymore..." He then left to retrieve herbs as Latias was left flightless and trapped with him forever.
