1. How old are you? (In years)

- I would prefer not to post this information here, but if a staff member were to ask me this, I would tell them.
I am currently under 16 years of age, but quite mature for my age, in my opinion.

2. Do you have any experience with the our forums/server?

I do not post on this forum much, but I could easily change that.
I post on other forum sites often, though.

3. Do you have any experience with any other general plugins?

Yes, I do. I currently run my own 1.8 Survival server so I know the basics in most plugins, and I am very experienced in some.

4. Do you understand the Server's anti-grief system?

Yes. We have the GriefPrevention plugin installed so players can claim their work, to prevent it from being griefed or modified by other players. If a structure has not been claimed using this plugin, though, it is not against the rules for others to raid or modify it. Raiding and griefing is allowed, if something has not been claimed.

5. Do you have experience of being a moderator on another server and/or service?

Yes, I do. As I mentioned earlier, I currently run a Minecraft 1.8 Survival server with over 100 players on /baltop.
I am not a staff member on any other servers, but I try my best to ensure people follow the rules in all servers, even if I am not currently a staff member.
I was also a chat Moderator on a Twitch Livestream chat for a while. The person's chat I moderated had over 1000 followers and got roughly 30-40 viewers per stream.

6. Have you ever tried creating your own server? How did it go?

Yes, I have. I currently own a 1.8 Survival server with over 100 players. It is going well so far and I am managing to keep control of things. If I were to become a staff member on this server, though, I would dedicate as much time to the server as I do now and probably a bit more, when possible.

7. Why do you want to be a moderator?

I would like to become a staff member because I have heard the server needs another Moderator/Admin and I think I could be the right person for the job. I have experience in helping out in servers, Moderating and managing servers.
I think that if I were to become a staff member, I would be able to help in the server a lot. I have the skill needed to become an Admin/Moderator, and I am capable of handling the responsibilities a staff member must have.
I have the ability not only to do an Admins job, but also that of a Moderator or below, too.
I believe that I am responsible, mature, smart and will be a great help to the server.

8. How long have you been on the Server?

This is something that I don't actually know, but definitely under a month. My guess is about 2 weeks or just under that.

9. Have you ever been banned? What were you banned for and by whom?

- I have never been banned from this server before.

10. What hours will you most likely be on?(PST)

In the week, I could not tell you this as I would be online at different times, although probably not before 9:15 AM PST.
On weekends, I would be able to dedicate a much larger amount of time to the server. I would probably be on from around 1:00 AM PST or after, and be able to spend up to 7 or 8 hours a day on the server, on weekends, with the occasional break or AFK if I need to do something.
If any of these times sound a bit early, that is because I currently live in England, UK, so PST is not my usual timezone.

11. Do you understand what a moderator does? Please explain.

A moderator would moderate the server and the chat.
I have experience in both of these things.
A moderator would make sure people follow the rules, and sometimes check on people to ensure they are not breaking any rules. EG: Hacking.
They would also moderate the chat and use the /socialspy command, if they had access, to moderate the private message, too.
If anyone broke the rules, in chat or in the game, a moderator would warn them not to do it, or give them a tempban/permban, depending on the severity of the event.
I personally think that cases get solved better and more efficiently with more than one staff member, so, unless it was only a minor case I could handle by myself, I would try to get the help of another staff member, too.

12. How would you handle a grief report? Example: "Help! I have been griefed :/"

- First, I'd private message each one of them and ask them to briefly give me their side of the story. While they are doing that, I would try to get another staff member involved as I believe the case would get solved better and more efficiently this way.
Then, if I could figure out who the culprit was, I would ask them to repair any damage they had done and apologise to the victim.
If they refused to do this, I would tempban them for around 24 hours.
If they fixed the damage done and apologised, I would probably give them a warning, although this would depend on the severity of the incident.
Once their ban is over and they are allowed back on the server, if they get caught commiting the same or similar offence again, they will probably get a tempban for a week or a permban, as they obviously have not learnt their lesson.
I would also pay the victim a small amount of in-game cash to make up for what had happened, and I would apologise for what had happened.

13. How would you handle someone, or many people, complaining that the server is lagging?

I would use plugins and tools to try to reduce the amount of lag on the server. If, after I had done this, people were still complaining about the lag, I would then tell them that it is probably because they are far from where the server is hosted and there isn't much we can do about that, and I would also apologise.
