Alderman Pope (10th Ward) revised an ordinance that if passed, will allow continued storage of toxic petcoke in barges along the Calumet River on the Southeast side of Chicago, and allow the burning of this hazardous black soot. tell these politicians we want petcoke out of our communities and banned from Chicago.
