Shared Responsibility Payment Due
Because you indicated that not everyone in your tax household had health insurance coverage for the entire year, and you did not note an exemption from coverage on Form 8965, a shared responsibility payment was calculated on your return.

Many types of coverage exemptions are available. Some can be applied for through the Marketplace and some can be applied for directly on your tax return, using Form 8965. For details on available exemptions, see Form 8965 Instructions.
