[2:51:24 PM] |Life|: Great. So Vernox is based off of LI. We're using a deobfuscated OS client, which means that it's the same client OSRS uses to connect to RS. We've been in development for around 8 months now, and we're getting ready to release very soon. (Some talk was even about today)
We're aiming towards a server where EXP is a bit boosted to encourage PKing, and drops are a bit harder, or more scarce. We've got around 60 people in our Discord waiting for launch, we've got our website almost finished, our web dev is working on a theme, but the vote, store, highscores, etc s finished. Script and I own Vernox 50/50, as we're the only developers at the moment.
[2:53:23 PM] |Life|: We've been in a beta stage for a few weeks (I can give you the client if you want), and many bugs have been worked out aswell as some added content including raids which aren't yet finished yet, but we believe theres enough content to sustain playerbase for a week or so until anyone is able to get to raids, and until we program it correctly.
[2:54:16 PM] |Life|: We've got a max OSRS account, so whenever the cache updates we will automatically get the cache, animations, items, data, whatever you want to call it, xteas etc.
[2:58:33 PM] |Life|: Basically, it's always better to have another hand on a server. We've done quite a lot in 8 months, but there's always room to improve. I've hosted RSPS for year (You can look at "vernox" in the search box, my last being an RS3, and Script has aswel (Working together on another project for a while) I'm familiar with how to market servers, and am semi-graphically inclined. Script is the main developer, and I take care of most of the design work, front end aspects, to make sure everything looks neat and professional although I do know my way around Java. Basically were looking for someone who's got time, and dedication to work on this with us. Like I said a lot ofworks been put into this in 8 months so obviously we're skeptical about vps access, so you'll be required to download a very outdated copy of LI, and program from that, until of course you can prove intentions, learning, and habits etc. We're both 22 & 23, so maturity isn't an issue. We plan on hosting for a while.
