Exterminator Timeline

07/13 (Mon) - Vince takes his first assignment, encounters Jeremy. (Threads 1,2,3, 3.5)

07/14 (Tue) - We deal with bats, discover a child’s skull in a church. We get a bonus assignment to track down a mysterious animal; turns out to be lethal 3 ft tall mantises. After watching them wipe out a team of anonymous operators and dangling from a cliff, we fail to bring a live specimen home. (Threads 3.5, 4, 4.2, 5)

07/15 (Wed) - We learn a bit about Devlinson’s past, meet Lopez for the first time, drop off the skull with him. Factory assignment begins and concludes. (Threads 5-8)

07/16 (Thu) - The cat job goes horribly wrong, results in passing out. (Threads 8-9)

07/17 (Fri) - Only wake up at 11:30PM, so a mere thirty minutes of this day is spent conscious. (Thread 10)

07/18 (Sat) - We go to the Patriot bar and observe a suspicious transaction. Go to sleep, wake up and realize our bank card is missing. Neighbor is killed while we retrieve it. Drown our grief in retail therapy before finally going to investigate a warehouse that turns out to be a night club.

Also turns out to be a drug processing operation. We manage to foil a robbery attempt on the premises, bringing us into contact with the Remnant for the first time. (Threads 10-12)

07/19 (Sun) - We do cocaine with Lopez, have a mostly relaxing Sunday. (Thread 13)

07/20 (Mon) - We get to fish at work, meet Amanda, and capture a giant sea monster. First contact with the Estate. We heist back Jeremy. (Threads 14-15)

07/21 (Tue) - Salamanders, profit making, building clearing, and Russians. Jeremy is gravely wounded shortly after we get home, we hand him off to Zheng. (Threads 16-21)

07/22 (Wed) - We sleep with Mrs. Shan, clear her home of termites, and discover a serial killer’s lair in her basement. A message from Crusty tells us that Jeremy may be in danger. It turns out his pheromones have attracted giant mantises and his spores have turned his doctors into sprouters. We rescue him and have him sent to a safer location.

The day concludes by betting on ourselves in a downhill race. We win, but our opponent ends up in the hospital. (Threads 22-27)

07/23 (Thu) - In the early hours of the morning we follow Brody to the hospital and get invited to take his place on a racing team. We accept.

Over the course of the day, we capture Mrs. Shan’s husband after being threatened with death and discover that both she and her husband are complicit in serial killing, with her acting as the dominant power. We fake Mr. Shan’s death to appease his wife, then follow up on our daily assignment without much issue.

A relatively easy extermination is performed but partically bungled nonetheless.

We suffer a malicious plastic surgery after making the mistake of going to a MedCorp clinic in our work uniform. Revenge is sworn.

At the end of the day, we coook for the Shan family and gain Mrs. Shan’s fingerprints, a must if we want to access her files to search for evidence of her crimes.

Termites and specimen files are received.

(Threads 28-32)

07/24 (Fri) - We discover during our daily briefing that Devlinson has run afoul of a Russian gangster after losing a great deal of money on a bet. In an attempt to cheer him up, we offer booze and cocaine, finally taking him into the field with us.

The assignment, clearing a giant replica ark from the Bible of “snakes” quickly complicates itself.

Vince and Dev discover the snakes are actually centipedes and that the Ark is covering up a large fabrication facility that helps a mysterious mastermind create devices to control large swarms of them.

Not being interested in mystery, Vince and Devlinson slay the mastermind and blow up the facility using thermite filled robots.

Vince takes one of the centipedes as a pet and the newly forged trio gets seafood at a truly terrible venue.

Now, Vince has just gotten the call to defend his team’s honor in a street race. Devlinson has accepted an invitation to come along…
