Registering for LR2 Internet Ranking (LR2IR)
If you are opening up LR2 for the first time, you must create an account. Regardless if you want to play online or not. Enter an ID (DJName) and password. There are no e-mails or captchas. Leave the LR2IR box unticked. Press OK.
Playing online is recommended for Insane BMS so tick the LR2 InternetRanking box.
Go to JUKEBOX2, tick 発狂BMS FOLDER. <- this is recommended and makes playing Insane BMS a better experience. Online required for the first time.


Themes:
I recommend installing this theme before installing any other theme. So a clean LR2 install is recommended.

About Insane BMS / Where to download songs?:
Insane BMS list is constantly changing-- songs are changing in difficulty and new songs are added in. To check what songs are currently ranked, there are several sites.

GENOCIDE: http://nekokan.dyndns.info/~lobsak/genocide/insane.html (Easy way to download songs)
STAIRWAY: http://stairway.sakura.ne.jp/bms/LunaticRave2/?contents=music (includes more in-depth ranking)
dream-pro: http://www.dream-pro.info/~lavalse/LR2IR/search.cgi?mode=search&type=insane (LR2's official IR website, you can edit a profile here and add rivals. Downloading songs isn't as convenient as GENOCIDE and ranking isn't as clean as STAIRWAY)

Song downloading quick guide:
When you click a song on dream-pro's website, you get a page that looks like this.
http://i.imgur.com/kPPriBh.png It should be self explanatory now. This page also may include video previews of the song and includes rankings. GENOCIDE includes the song list with artist website and the charter's website/link in a cleaner format without having to click around much.

Just download the original BMS song and drop the custom chart in the same folder.
There are packs and torrents to make life easier, but they are most likely outdated. It may be missing songs since songs are constantly being added in or changed in difficulty (which shouldn't matter since 発狂BMS FOLDER organizes it for you). I'll add torrent/pack links later. If there's enough interest, we can maybe make a regularly updated torrent with changelogs of what songs are being added.

Dan mode / Normal courses / Insane courses:
Beat IIDX 10dan and want to work towards a more difficult course but kaiden is out of reach? Try out 発狂BMS 1-5dan.
Dan courses, like insane songs are constantly changing as well.

and just drop the file in JUKEBOX1.
