  1. The sun and sky touched down to the very earth in Skyrim, and granted her people a glorious history of blinding gold hair and bright blue eyes. Any who stood among them without such traits were recognized quickly as less than nord, even when breton and imperial influences became so common that all seemed to have a touch of dirt in their skin and eyes.
  2. Rare hair remained still, but in a form not seen naturally in any of the common races, at first.
  3.
  4. Red hair, with color and vibrancy characteristic of blood and madder. Stranger still was that the small port of Dawnstar, on this night, held not one, but two of these beauties, in their purest form.
  5.
  6. The Windpeak was rarely filled but never empty. Sailors stopped routinely during heavy storms, and smaller boats took port overnight on the way between Solitude and Windhelm- though fare between those ports had all but stopped in recent days. Adventurers trading drinks, workers listening to tales, townsfolk in from the country- it was lively enough.
  7.
  8. Kaarina didn't have the look of a man, but could convince you otherwise if you got too close. She had the gall to sit at the table with her quiver at her side, taking an old spoon to a wooden bowl of horker stew and scouring the room with her eyes. She'd been in port for the past few days, taking a break from the open wilderness. The hot stew and cold outside air made her nose run, and she unceremoniously wiped it on her furred cuffs. She'd run into a pack of wolves on the slopes to the south, and had a new coat and a pretty sack of coins to show for it. Two or three other men in the cabin had become wallflowers since she arrived, in her stay they'd learned quick not to lay hands on the fire-headed girl. Simple, common bandits who hadn't been caught by the guard yet- eyes and ears for their brothers in the forts down the road to set up easy catches.
  9.
  10. A few others sat in the small inn- a big, burly nord man with a scruff of hair on his chin so unbecoming of his size it'd earned the ire of his peers since he was little. An enormous mercenary sitting by the fire, in gleaming ebony armor and a red cloak. The whole place stank of ale, and while it was tense, it was so silent that the fire crackled loud enough to be heard in the bedrooms.
  11.
  12. Until the ice-covered door swung in, spraying swirls of heavy snow, curling around long red hair that blew about in the wind, piled atop a heavy scarf that covered from her neck to her nose.
  13. "Heyyy!" she called to the quiet bartender, her voice tackling into the silence. She struggled visible with the door, until one of the bandits got up and closed it to keep out the snow.
  14.
  15. "For Shor's sake, girl, it's cold out." he grumbled.
  16.
  17. "Psssht. I know that. It's why I'm here, isn't it?" she grinned, walking up to the bar. Kaarina's eyes trailed on her angrily, a seed of anger taking root over the broken silence. Her mead was going sour.
  18.
  19. "Ermalda-" the bartender began, recognizing her. She'd clearly been here several times before. The shorter girl set down a fur bag on the counter, unloading bottle after bottle, drained dry onto the countertop. The pile was staggering for a girl that size. Kaarina had to wonder who had really been drinking all that.
  20.
  21. The bartender wordlessly set about taking the bottles down into the basement where the biggest kegs sat, meanwhile Ermalda walked towards the fire- tension sprouting quickly as the girl sat right against Kaarina, and started to take off her boots.
  22.
  23. "You're in my spot." Kaarina growled, staring at her and standing. Ermalda just grinned, a hint of viciousness showing in her smile.
  24. "It's not your spot, it's mine. I was here first."
  25.
  26. "Like hell, I've been sitting here for three days." Kaarina said flatly, her blood beginning to boil.
  27.
  28. "Ha! Three days? I've been sitting here since I was a girl." Ermalda said contently, putting the snow-caked leather boots up close to the fire, stretching her toes.
  29.
  30. "When in Oblivion were you a girl?" Kaarina smirked, folding her arms. Ermalda gave a snide stare, shaking her hips and getting settled up against the broad hearth.
  31.
  32. "Jealous much?" she huffed.
  33.
  34. =============================================================================
  35.
  36. When words failed them, fists followed. Before it could come to blades, both girls were dragged out by the husky nord in black, and tossed out in the snow. Bitter words turned to silence.
  37.
  38. Kaarina knew if she wanted another drink she'd have to hike to Winterhold. It wasn't far, if she took the coastline, but it'd be bitter cold. Windhelm was closer, but the path was dangerous, leading either past occupied forts or bleak shapeless dunes of snow. She had her axe, she had a little bit of firewood, she had her tent- but it would be a bitter, sleepless night for certain. The two parted ways at the doorway. Ermalda walked down to the ships below, pulling out a bottle of mead from her sack to give her the warmth she'd need. Kaarina set upon the northern coast, determined to march into the bitter winds for The Frozen Heart. Ermalda, leaving behind an empty bottle on the dock post, slipped a dagger out of her pocket and slit the rope holding in a small dingy. She slipped out onto the frigid waters, her image reflected in its glassy surface with the sparkling sky.
  39.
  40. Little did either know that Kyne was plotting against them. Ermalda slipped easily and quickly down the coast in her small boat, but winds soon picked up, whipping her long red hair and scarf about. The waves rose, bucking her about until she needed to pull off. By this point the snow was blowing hard enough to blind her to the coast, the choppy waves threatening to toss her into the deathly sea.
  41.
  42. While it was not land, Ermalda soon struck ice. A massive iceberg stuck out, seas darkened by black sand. Using the same dagger she stuck the ice deep and moored her little ship to its hilt. Stepping onto the ice, she rushed against the body of the iceberg, shifting to get out of the way of the wind. After a little stepping, she found a small miracle- a divet deep enough for her to walk into, filled with a crackling light.
  43.
  44. What she found inside, however, irked her beyond belief. Kaarina was sitting inside by a tiny fire. A tremendous frost troll lay butchered by the firepit, its arm slowly roasting above the flame. Kaarina's face was messy from the charred bits of the other arm.
  45.
  46. Ermalda huffed, staring at the winds outside- the blizzard was just picking up. The icy winds outside were almost preferable to the smirk on Kaarina's face... but only almost preferable. Ermalda shifted into the small inner iceberg. She sat down, across from Kaarina.
  47.
  48. "I don't suppose this is your spot, too?" Kaarina said, helplessly gloating as she nibbled on her catch, over her fire.
  49. "Shut up." Ermalda hissed, pulling out two bottles. This was going to be a two-bottle conversation.
  50.
  51. The evening was quiet, and cold. They talked little, unable to exchange much more than venom. But when night came, quiet gratitude filled the small ice-cave. While Kaarina's tent captured plenty of warmth, Ermalda was a tiny drunken heater. Gruff as Kaarina had been, she put her arms around Ermalda as the chill of night took over. keeping her warm and nestled tight. Ermadla felt her cheeks blush, the soft pressure of Kaarina's firm breasts against her back.
  52.
  53. In the night, Kaarina woke several times. She was restless, even moreso with Ermalda against her chest. And while Ermalda slept more comfortably, she had trouble sleeping once awake. She turned, looking at the restless redhead. There was something... enticing about her now. Silent, asleep, she looked so much more innocent, her gruff face relaxed and serene. Kaarina had sleep, muscled curves, which lightly glistened with sweat, which came naturally from their combined bodyheat. It even picked up some of the moonlight- looking up, the snow was beginning to pass, the icy cavern lit by the moonbeams coming down. It even picked up in the light sheen on her body. She touched her skin, unable to resist- and found to her dismay, the light sheen brought her scent onto her fingertips. Taller, leaner than she was- Ermalda leaned in, softly kissing Kaarina's hips, tasting a touch salty. Something about her was faintly masculine. That gruff tone, her furs and leather... Ermalda unlaced her leather top, finding small breasts, no more than handfuls, perfectly shaped and soft. As Ermalda leaned in to kiss her nipples, Kaarina woke- not with a cry, but with a slow, arching breath. Her nipple in Ermalda's mouth, it was sensitive and firm now. A light lick made her thighs tighten, and she rose her hips. Ermalda cupped her between her legs, gently squeezing- masculine she may have seemed, but she was perfectly girlish here. Her gentle rubbing even pulled a light squeal from Kaarina, who covered her mouth in shock. Ermalda gave a big grin, trying not to laugh, but before it let her mouth Kaarina grabbed her by her hair and pushed her down between her slender thighs, pressing her tight against her cloth. Ermalda squirmed, but quickly caved, her hair pulled as she started to taste her, pulling back the taller girl's panties.
  54.
  55. "Mmmm... how about this?" Ermalda said slowly, softly curling two fingers into Kaarina's hot, moist core. Kaarina gave a cry, grabbing her tight.
  56. "Is this my spot?" she grinned. Kaarina panted, nodding slowly. When her fingers dipped a little deeper, she cried out.
  57. "Y-Yes! Yours!"
  58. Her slow, pumping fingers made Kaarina tighten up, her firm, toned body tensed up until all of a sudden she came, melting down and rubbing her thighs together, all over Ermalda's hand, soft whimpering and biting Ermalda's shirt.
