  114. Archaipher is a Pokemon created by humans in ancient times. According to legend, over five thousand years ago the humans of the time attempted to gain great knowledge and understanding of the world by summoning spirits; however, one of these spirits took control of the iron idol / pedestal they created and cast away the humans for their greed. Archaipher has the appearance of a large, dark iron (black and grey) humanoid statue, with the head of a bear and large claw-hands, and its eyes continuously glow blue with the power of the spirit that dwells within. It has many unnatural abilities, and can even fly through the air thanks to the spirit's ability to levitate the statue it dwells in.
  115.
  116. Archaipher is a slow but powerful Pokemon, capable of many sets depending on how one wishes to utilise its abilities. A prankster set utilising a Light clay + Dual Screens combo, Stealth Rock, and Foul Play can be a very powerful support Pokemon, and it has other cool options like Toxic, Thunder Wave, Heal Bell and its signature Ancient Prayer too. Meanwhile, it can go on the offensive with the powerful Adaptability, its signature priority STAB move Spirit Strike, STAB Psychic or Psyshock, Calm Mind (Leftovers bulky offense) or Trick Room (Life Orb sweeper) and a coverage move of choice. It's four common weaknesses hurt it - especially Fire types which Archaipher cannot hit super-effectively - but its bulk, multitude of resistances, immunity to Toxic, and great abilities combine into an excellent Pokemon if played correctly.
