  1. Hi,
  2.
  3. I just like to thanks Allan for getting me into FreeBSD,
  4.
  5. I have been running a LAMP stack on centos droplet running a number of small wordpress sites with 2GB Ram but have been have issue with it keep run out of memory even after tweek the apache config. So decide to setup a FreeBSD with 512MB droplet running nginx and transfer the wordpress over to it. It was really easiy to setup and handle the same amount of traffic but on 512mb RAM.

  7. As I setup this up a couple of months ago, It was running FreeBSD 10.2, I now see 10.3 is now supported on digital ocean. So as i understand it that this is 10.2 is supported to December 31, 2016?
  8.
  9. So i was looking at the blog post on digital ocean on how to do the upgrade to 10.3:
  10.
  11. https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-upgrade-freebsd-from-version-10-2-to-10-3
  12.
  13. All look straight forward, But was wonder about the section: "Resolving Conflicts" and why would you need to do this? Is this normal for a FreeBSD upgrade or is just that Digital Ocean have created there own version of FreeBSD to use on their Droplets and these files need to be modifed for the upgrade to work?
  14.
  15. Thanks
  16.
  17. Al
