intro to warhammer fantasy

The Insulares is a small Island off the coast of Estalia, in the Great ocean.

Every year, for a week the isle is the center of attention as merchants, mercenaries, priests and wizards, along with the common folk, travel to the isle to partake in the festive events on the island.

No year is the same since the events are dependant on who travels here. Like this year, there is a circus, while last year it was pilgrim's waypoint and the year before that it ended up with the entire island engulfed in drunken oldfasioned barbrawling.

But one thing is common every year. For one day, the ruins on top of a hill is opened and adventurers from all around the world race to see who can find the most valuable treasure in the ruin before its closed again. Noone have ever gotten to the deepest point in the ruins yet as they seem to go on endlessly, but one day, one day everyone will find the bottom chamber and the treasure that lies within.
