Crazy sam10 Had you given an OK to unban Batman?
If you weren't aware, he was unbanned yesterday but I wasn't spoken to about it

Kat didn't do that, and I was 95% asleep by the time that happened so i didn't fight with him over it. However I did get a chance to speak with Batman in IRC, and saw his interactions in chat and he seemed to have changed and been a little more pleasant this time around
To answer your question more specifically, I said I thought he could have an unban, but not to do it without consulting you first

5:38 Damac1214 As I told Kat, I felt that the reason given for the ban, his homophobic remarks, didn't actually justify the ban and that everyone at the time, including me, was so sick of Batman and all the complaints about him that we just let it slide and didn't argue it. If I could go back, with the view I have now, I probably would have argued with you to unban him

In that one he tried to claim I was manipulating users, as well as lying about users he spoke to

He used improper warning and did seem to make insulting remarks toward you, but I don't think he actually meant to insult you. I think that his emotions got the better of him, considering how volatile he was at the time, and he just couldn't bring himself to properly apologize

So it sort of leaves the issue with no consensus, and choosing a side isn't easy for me
5:51 Damac1214 He apologizes for that too. And that's a failure more on Kat's end since I specifically told him to contact you. If you were in Batmans position, you had been banned from talking with the people you considered friends for months, and then one night someone offered to lift it for you, would you have enough self control to delay it?

That's Kat's fault for not contacting me
But a ban shouldn't be removed without contacting the banner except under special circumstances
And after he got the ban lifted he showed a screenshot of being unbanned to everyone except for me
5:53 Damac1214 Besides, this is probably the most genuine apology I've ever seen from anyone on the wiki. He really does seem to have matured and grown from the experience and more than 100% regret his actions. I think you may have to look at who he is now, not who he was then and give him another chance. I'll leave the decision up to you, but I truly do think he deserves it.

Bohater has a very clear and very strong grudge against Batman that was present on chat, and is now even more present on blog comments. Please consider the fact that Bohaters judgement is clouded by this
