  13. =1. Modifying a Unit=
  14. Modifiying a unit is easy.
  15. =With the Unit Table=
  16. -First, boot up the SpoilerAL file and the cheat table. If the unit you want to modify is in one of the table's houses then you're good to go, if not then you'll need to do a bit more extra work.
  17. -In case the unit doesn't belong to one of the table's houses or is a NPC unit that's below the 30th slot, then what you need to do is to open the 'Unit Modifier' header, and then replace the third offset of the String value that represents the name of the unit for the one of the house it belongs to. All house offsets are listed on the table extras, so that's not a problem.
  18. -Once you have done this correctly, you should see the leader of the selected house displayed as the current String (e.g. Akashi Kazemaru for Kazemaru). What you need to do then is click on the address and edit the offset by clicking on the right arrow next to it until you've found the string of the unit you want to edit.
  19. -Copy the offset for that string, and then paste it on the third offset of the address labeled 'ID' in the unit modifier. Click the left arrow once you've done so, and you'll see a (usually 4-digit) number that represents that unit's ID.
  20. -Edit the values as you want.
  21. =With SpoilerAL=
  22. Go to 武将ステータス, then the option that says CPU, then click the purple text. It'll let you choose from a list of houses in moonrune, just fiddle with it until you get to the house you wanted. Then you'll have a full list of the units who you can modify as you please according to the SSG's options.
  23.
  24. =2. Modifying a Province=
  25. Modifying a province is even easier.
  26. =With the Unit Table=
  27. -Go to provinces and edit what you want. It's that easy.
  28. -A few warnings: You cannot add more territories than the vanilla game has, and if you leave a nation with no territories without conquering them normally they will remain in the game without being able to attack and without their commanders being released to wander around.
  29. =With SpoilerAL==
  30. There's no reason to use SpAL for this, use the table.
  31.
  32. =3. Swapping Units between houses=
  33. Swapping units involves memory editing, so if you don't know what the fuck you're doing you should probably backup a save and restart the game before reloading.
  34. =With the Unit Table=
  35. Open two instances of the table and put them back to back, one with the unit you want to swap and another with a blank slot in your commander list.

  37. Press CTRL+B on the ID value you want to swap, CTRL+6 so you can see the numerical values and understand what you're doing, then click on the address that's at the top right above the line where the memory browser starts you off.
  38. http://i.imgur.com/yMhRV8p.png
  39. Press CTRL+1 again to return everything to roborunes, and then copy the values from the value you placed your cursor on, all the way down 20 lines or so until the 00s are replaced by garbage you don't want:

  41. Copy all that wall-o-text to your blank slot. To do that you need to press CTRL+B on the blank slot's ID, scroll up to the same place where you started to copy the swapped unit's shit, and then press CTRL+V. It doesn't matter if you do it while it's in rune or while it's in base 10. You can paste in either way, BUT YOU CAN ONLY COPY IN RUNES.

  43. Next to clean up your shit and make it look pretty. Go to the string value of your blank slot (you should know what I'm talking about by now) and press CTRL+B, you'll find that the two lines in the memory where you're at is where the character's name string is located. First paste the empty string from the Unit Values pastebin, and then write the name you want using the table.

  45. Finally, copy the Empty String and Empty Unit values on the memory values of the unit you just swapped, to remove that instance of her from the game.

  47. Save so you don't have to do that shit again!
  48. =SpoilerAL=
  49. SpoilerAL is pretty useless for this, but you can use it if you want to change the unit's troops to fit the color scheme of your house. It's one of the purple options, I believe the third one starting from the one that decides the character's Job and after the one that decides the unit's Job.
  50.
  51. =4. Using ALD explorer to browse Sprite and Portrait Data=
  52. I'll do it later.
  53.
  54. =5. Create your own custom unit=
  55. I'll do it laterrrrrrrr
