- When an action requires a save (like an attack, magic or charm when your opponent has his defenses up) a 1d20 dice is rolled against a target (often body, mind or spirit number + modifiers). Actions that don't require a save (ie roll) are automatic.

- There are some different ways in which things die. The main one is, of course, blood loss. Even giants will bleed out and die if their wound's aren't properly closed. But it is not the only way. The Burning element can consume the body whole, leaving nothing behind. Alternatively, cut the muscle of the biceps and the opponent becomes physically incapable of raising his arm, so not all means of fighting are lethal. Or simply damage the internal organs and nervous system enough and anything will simply shutdown.
- The real question is: how do you defeat something that has no blood, no limbs and no brain? To anyone who has been to Anun Loqemar, if you visited the Halls of Gods you have seen them in all their physical glory. Statues. Fountains. Monoliths. Gods are the domain of the ethereal, so their physical bodies can be as simple as a chunk of rock. So how do you kill a chunk of rock? You don't.
