Ryuu Cyber Laser

After fixing himself up and tuning his gears so that his mobility was no longer hindered or sluggish, Ryuu decided to investigate his creators lab further. He found strange contraptions filled with the strange fluid he saw in the vats when he watched the video on the last P.D.A., there were numerous machines to which he had no clue or idea what they might be for. Computers clicked and beeped on their own causing belts to feed parts into a machine and eventually spit out droids that a later machine would take apart. It seemed pointless but there was surely a reason for it.

Upon closer inspection of the laboratory Ryuu spotted some schematics for upgrades for droids. A sort of maintenance robot that could perform welding with a high powered laser fitted in the index finger. Though welding was in of its self a great thing to be able to perform, due to the recent encounters of several strong races being present on Earth, Ryuu began to think of different ways to make it work for him. He had seen many people use beams and blasts of all kinds to fight out their battles and though Ryuu had knowledge of such things he didn't particularly enjoy the feeling of forcing his Ki out from his body in such a manner. It was far too wild, easily deflected, and overall took too much time to get a good effect out of the funnel of energy that it was.

Instead Ryuu would take the idea of the laser coming out of his finger and instead began working on a much larger version that would fit in his large dragon like mouth. His jaw was rather massive and elongated so hiding a barrel in it wouldn't be a problem. It was finding a source that could produce enough light to reflect it accurately no matter his bodies position and pour it out of said barrel. There was a few different optic eyes that could be used to magnify the light energy several times fold, however finding a machine that could generate the light was going to be a whole other story.

It was then that Ryuu spotted a small box on the shelf in the tool room of the laboratory. It was a strange looking box no bigger than the size of three of his fingers put together. Upon examining it closer he could see that the box drew in sunlight through darkened panels on the one side and on the other outputted said light in a condensed state like a sort of natural form of light turned into a much stronger version. Though the design was far from simple after he reversed engineered it Ryuu speculated that near the same effect could be achieved from ki. He would go on to attempt to create another small device that would convert said ki into light energy.

After an hour or two of toiling over the device Ryuu settled for a microchip programmed to do the same thing but with his own ki cycled from the core point in his body and converted towards the barrel that would be located in his mouth using a combination of mirrors isolated optic lens' and an energy converter that condensed matter and deconstructed particles to a state that could travel at the speed of light. This combination would make the laser extremely difficult to deflect and give it cutting power unlike any other source. Though the laser was more heat related than anything, after some testing, it would prove to be an effective back up should any other option fail in a fight.

Ryuu would use other machines to begin the surgical insertion of the device into his body, he was more than thankful that his creator decided to create him out of a doll rather than living tissue, a lack of nerves went a long way as far as Ryuu was concerned, but perhaps this was his creators plan all along.
