[10:11]  Nick: My interpretation of loci is probably most similar to Shade's. I think that they act as a sort of general spirit of the area. If you have favor with one, you can influence it to change a little. Most things in the area will be friendlier to you and more hostile to your enemies, like Crone Mara's forest. For higher amounts of favor, you can ask for something more specific, from knocking over a trash can to making it impossible to leave. If you're buddies with the locus of Boston, any environmental detriments might not bother you. Temperatures, winds, stop lights, passers-by, pigeons. But it's a low level of influence. If a more targeted effect (a druid or shaman commanding all the pigeons to attack you, a curse dooming you to trip over everything, a familiar who's influence makes strangers uneasy) is also in the mix, it would beat out the locus's influence.
