- Been awhile since I've written one of these. AGDQ 2018 was just as amazing as last year in some similar yet different ways. Compared to last year I think I generally spent more time hanging out and talking with people rather than practicing my speedrun or playing games. Then again, I also spent more time than I expected playing Advance Wars and Initial D (seriously, when are we getting a Switch port of Advance Wars? They're so good). I'll do a separate write up for Advance Wars and Initial D as those were the two games I spent the most time playing. I also kind of want to learn randomizers well enough to do races with friends.
- As for 2018 I'd like to dive into either running Under the Knife 2 or Time Crisis 3 for SGDQ. I'm currently more familiar with and enjoy running Time Crisis 3 a little more than Under the Knife 2 and it isn't as strenuous to play/practice. However I'd really like to bring Trauma Center back to GDQ at least one more time. Listed below are some general goals/things I'd like to focus on this year:
- High priority:
- Under the Knife 2
- Time Crisis 3
- Med priority:
- Alttp NMG/randomizer
- Trauma Team ILs
- Low priority:
- Second Opinion/New Blood
- Zone of the Enders
- Casual playthrough of Front Mission, Advance Wars, and other games I usually play off stream.
