  1. Concept 1: John Boyega plays first vampire in the NBA after vampires ended the Masquerade several years prior. Film deals with his struggle to gain acceptance among his team and the fans, all the while special considerations have to be made for him. In the end he decides to leave the sport, as he feels the supernatural doesn't really have a place in the league. In the epilogue, he is one of the founding members of the Paranormal NBA.

  3. Concept 2: A race of proud warrior aliens come to Earth. Their traditional method of conquering is trial by champion, and they allow the defending planet to choose the challenge. Through an online worldwide poll, it is decided that the fate of humankind rests on a basketball game (poll may or may not have been rigged by Anonymous). As an all-star team is being assembled, Dracula rises from torpor to defend the Earth... on the court! (Bill Murray is also there.)

  5. Concept 3: Teenage vampire attempting to fit in at school wants to join the basketball team but can't because he is incapable of holding back his full strength. Also he has confused feelings for one of the cheerleaders re: fucking/feeding. When he recognizes that the basketball team of the rival school is actually full of vampires and shit, he has to convince his dad to let him try out in time for the big game.
  6.
  7. Concept 4: It is the cyberpunk future, and entertainment is king. As the masses demand greater and greater spectacle, an all-star game for the ages is prepared. Cyborg players, a mentally-enhanced gorilla, actual wizards, Hulk Hogan, and a genetically-engineered vampire make up the teams for a game of B-ball with everything raised – most of all, the stakes! Each basket scored nets that player a solid billion credits. However, insulted by this man-made vampire, there's a new hat in the ring – that of the freshly-risen Dracula, who wants a spot in the game! The entire second half of the movie is just the game itself.

  9. Concept 5: Monster movie in which a regulation NBA basketball is actually sucking the life-force out of the players using it. Danny Devito stars as the voice of the ball.
  10.
  11. Concept 6: After the Masquerade is broken, human society adjusts. We can't countenance just wiping out the “monsters” among us – they're far too human. Instead, they become second-class citizens. Specifically (and understandably), paranormal entities are banned from participating in major professional sports leagues, as most of them are more physically proficient than humans. Enraged at the unfairness of this, a team from the supernatural ghetto composed of a vampire, a faerie, a werewolf, a demon, and a mute entity in a centurion helmet known only as Don, challenge the entire NBA to put forward their best players for an exhibition match. The first half of the movie deals with them overcoming prejudice and red-tape to get the match scheduled and televised, and then STYLING on the mundane players, who quit halfway through stating that the match is unfair. The rest of the movie deals with them receiving interest from other paranormal teams and setting up a supernatural league where much bigger plays are legal to properly show off their magical skills.
