- - Download and install PhoenixSuite 1.0.6 https://s3.amazonaws.com/pcduino/Tools/PhoenixSuit1.0.6.zip
- - During installation you will get a prompt for driver install, click yes
- - Download Kernel https://s3.amazonaws.com/pcduino/Images/pcduino3nano/ubuntu/pcduino3b_lvds_a20_kernel_livesuit_20150314.img
- - Download custom Ubuntu https://s3.amazonaws.com/pcduino/Images/v3/20150417/pcduino3_ubuntu_20150417.zip
- - Insert MicroSD card into PC
- - Format MicroSD card
- - Extract the "pcduino3nano_ubuntu_20140807.7z" file
- - Copy "pcduino3_ubuntu_20140807.img" and "update.sh" to micro sd card
- - Plug in pcDuino using micro usb power port (center port on ethernet side), into wall
- - Plug in pcDuino using micro usb OTG port (off center port on full sized usb side), into pc
- - Open PheonixSuite
- - Click Firmware
- - Select Image "pcduino3_lvds_a20_dd_kernel_20141208.img"
- - Press and hold Upgrade button ON PCDUINO for ten seconds then press Reset ON PCDUINO until pcDuino restarts
- - Release Reset
- - Release Upgrade
- - Phoenix suite should have opened a window, top line says "Tips: Does mandatory format?"
- - Click Yes
- - Upgrade should start (PhoenixSuite "Upgrading Firmware .....")
- - PhoenixSuite should say "Upgrade Firmware Succeeded"
- - LVDS screen should turn on, you will see text going down the screen
- - When screen is blank insert MicroSD card into pcDuino
- - The TX led should start flashing while the RX led stays solid
- - When the TX led and the RX led blink slowly together the flash is complete (if they are both blinking rapidly the flash failed). This should take 10-20 minutes
- - When the flash is complete, remove the micro sd card and restart the pcDuino
