Pokemon Adventure! 12

Narrator:
Team Oak had began their exploration of Pewter City last. Meeting new Pokémon, visiting shops, purchasing a few items and visiting the Museum. However, they came across an odd bunch at a murderous crime scene where four identical oddly uniformed people ran off and the group was left facing an even stranger woman. Venec almost caught her but she blew up from within the Pokéball. Welcome to the World of Pokémon!
DNA:
Cepheus had gone from a strange euphoric high from Venec performing amazingness to an emotional wreck. Grace had just gotten back and could now...no longer talk. Nnnnnnot good.

Venec:
Venec caught the potion tossed to him and applied it to Lucy.
DNA:
By now he was already on his knees with his arm on the crying Kirlia's shoulder.
* Grace holds out the Pokédex to Cepheus via telekinetic powers.
DNA:
Cepheus takes the Pokedex and, on a thought, scans her with it, to see if it might pick up an irregularity.
* Kaorin Sakura rolls: 2d12+10 Healing! => 12 + 10 = 22

Layla:
Layla hoped over, still confused from the fight but noticing that Grace looked distressed. She whined softly and licked Grace's cheek.

Lucy:
Lucy is healed and gains 22 hit points.

Jupiter:
Jupiter was simultaneously watching the unconscious (?) Lucy and the distraught Cepheus, looking for changes in either.
* Lucy begins breathing normally again, her wounds healing slightly.

Venec:
Venec pulled out a Heal Ball, "Alright... Let this work." He touched it to her.

Jupiter:
Jupiter whipped around watching Venec intently. He was going to wait for whatever strange thing might happen next...and dangit, he'd be ready.
Kaorin Sakura:
"Kirlia, the Emotion Pokémon. Psychic type. It has a psychic power that enables it to distort the space around it and see into the future."
DNA:
(Seeing into the future might help, but what I'd really like to do is see into the past...) he thought. (What happened?)

Grace:
"Rrreebebeehr. Argrgrhee hehere ebegrgege."
DNA:
"Grace, can you still use telepathy? If you can, talk to me that way."
Kaorin Sakura:
The ball swallowed Lucy whole in a blinding pink light.
Kaorin Sakura:
Shake.
Kaorin Sakura:
Shake..
Kaorin Sakura:
Shake...
Kaorin Sakura:
Ka-chink!

Layla:
Layla thinks something is funny with Grace! Layla sniffs Grace to find aynthing funny.

Jupiter:
Jupiter then pulled out pompoms from hammerspace and cheered Venec.
Kaorin Sakura:
The ball disappears in a blinding flash of light, leaving behind the faint hues of a small rainbow.

Venec:
Venec exhaled in relief. "I think that worked." He picked up the ball from the ground.

Danny:
Danny woke up from his hospital bed. He surged upwards, but relaxed as soon as he saw Larry laying at his feet. "Phewf. You had me worried, Larry," Danny sighed. "I thought I lost you for a moment there."
Kaorin Sakura:
Scratch that disappearing ball crap. Never happened. Corrected.

Danny:
"I can't believe everybody just up and left me." Danny made a pouty face.
Kaorin Sakura:
Nurse Joy is not currently present in the Pokémon Center.
You whisper to DNA: Yeyehehe. Ahdgegre hehabdand."

Venec:
Venec walked over to Cepheus. He wondered if the Heal ball woke Lucy up, but right now the had bigger problems with Grace. That, and Venec was still shaking a little from the encounter. "Is everything alright over here? Grace? Layla?"

Danny:
"Even the nurse left me! Am I really that bad a company?" Danny joked.
DNA:
Cepheus clutched his head and screamed, buckling down to his knees. "No!" he screamed. "Dangit, NO!!"

Dandy:
Dandy stuck her head out from under the pillow to reveal her presence. The PokeMon had been by Danny's side the whole time, too.

Jupiter:
Jupiter slowly turned around and looked at Cepheus. Not good. He'd gotten worse and he didn't know why.

Venec:
"What... is it?"
DNA:
"Can't...understand...anything..."

Venec:
"Grace?"
You whisper to Venec_Myles: Grace can speak just fine to Layla and vice versa.

Grace:
"Ahdjds?"
Kaorin Sakura:
A slight shock jolts Cepheus along his body.
* Kaorin Sakura rolls: 1d20 => 11
Kaorin Sakura:
Dealing 3 electric damage.
DNA:
Cepheus winced! What was that!?

Cepheus:
Cepheus loses 3 hit points.
You whisper to DNA: You feel a slight shock jolt you from the Pokédex.

Venec:
Venec looked over, "What? I'm still a little dizzy from the fight I think..."
DNA:
"...I think my Pokedex just tried to shock me..."
DNA:
"Jupiter, you haven't been trying anything funny, have you?"

Jupiter:
He shook his heads back and forth.

Jupiter:
"No, I haven't."
DNA:
"What's wrong with this thing?" he wondered. Then he dismissed the thought promptly out of his mind. He had something else more pressing.
Layla whispers: What's wrong what's wrong?
DNA:
"Grace, I need to retrace the path you took. I need you to tell me what path you took when you left the rest of us. Spare no detail; I have to know everywhere you went."
You whisper to Venec_Myles: Dunno. The lights flashed on the way to the Police and now I can't understand anyone. Can you?
* Grace tilts her head to Cepheus, a confused look on her face.
Layla whispers: I can understand you little sister. You can't understand anyone?

Danny:
Danny got out his bed, looking around to see that Nurse Joy was not present all. He looked at Dandy, who he let snake around his arm and body to hold, and got ready to look for everybody. Danny was certain the group was not too far away. He guessed they were all waiting in the waiting room for their fearless leader to return back to health!
You whisper to DNA: The Pokédex actively tugs away from you.
You whisper to Venec_Myles: No Humans.
DNA:
"Wait, what's this thing doing? It's like it's possessed!"
DNA:
"...come on out of there, Rotom."
Kaorin Sakura:
The Pokédex suddenly flies from Cepheus' hand and floats up, glowing with a strange orange face along the screen.
Andy has connected.
DNA:
"What business have you with me?"

Rotom 2:
"Cepheus....White....Oak Team...Typeless...."
Layla whispers: Was that the light little sister?" Layla looked at the Rotom
DNA:
"...I know who I am, thank you."
Kaorin Sakura:
The floating possessed Pokédex begins spouting out random words and pieces of information as it floats, giving off an odd disturbance of sound. Whenever anyone spoke it came off distorted and barely understandable.
You whisper to Venec_Myles: Looks like it's the cause of the whole problem.
DNA:
"Jupiter, can you try and force Rotom out of the Pokedex? You can channel electricity, right?"

Jupiter:
He shrugged, with a somewhat resigned look, as if to say "I could try..."

Layla:
Layla turned and growled at the pokedex.

Jupiter:
(Zapper) Jupiter tried shooting a small bit of electricity at the Pokedex to see a reaction.

Layla:
Layla used Bite!

Jupiter:
(Not rolling for Zapper; just using the base effect.)

Venec:
"Whoa! What's wrong Layla!"

Danny:
Danny exited the PokeCenter with a grumpy face. "Nobody waited for me!" he yelled. "Nobody! I am the leader! My posse are meant to wait for me!"

Venec:
(Layla's bite is waiting for GM permission to commence.)
Kaorin Sakura:
Danny would run into Kia and Joy.
Kaorin Sakura:
The bite connects.

Layla:
« 1d20 = 14 » to hit
Kaorin Sakura:
Rotom ignore the zapper affect, notoriously overpowering it.

Layla:
« 2d10+8+18+5 = 14 + 8 + 18 + 5 = 45 » Physical Dark.
Andy:
As Danny exited, Kia spotted him and gave a small wave. "Danny, wait up!" She run’s over towards him. “You look like your feeling better..”

Rotom 2:
Rotom 2 loses 74 hit points.

Layla:
Layla shook the pokedex violently in her mouth, growling.
Kaorin Sakura:
Layla's bite, while unable to piercing the armor plating of the Pokédex does manage to silence the being within it. The Pokédex drops to the ground, returning to normal, albeit covered in Growlithe slobber.
Andy:
“We should probably try and join the other’s as soon as possible! There was a fight with this girl who was also a pokemon….”
Layla whispers: "No one makes little sister cry."

Grace:
"The hell was that?! I couldn't even sense it!"
DNA:
"Thanks, Layla." He was surprisingly not that irritated at the dog biting it or the scratches; he just wiped them off calmly.
DNA:
"...wait, say that again."
* Grace emote eyes grow wide as she turns to Cepheus.

Grace:
"I can understand you!"
DNA:
"And I you!"
* Grace throws herself at Cepheus and envelops him in an odd hug for her height.

Layla:
Layla wagged her tail and barked happily at Cepheus. Then looking back and forth between Cepheus and Grace began to bound happily between and around all of them.
DNA:
Cepheus dropped to his knees again, this time hugging her back.

Jupiter:
Jupiter spun around and let off a little screech. This was good. This was very good.

Grace:
"Okay, it's official. I can't sense Darks or Ghosts. That is not good."

Venec:
"Could you look after Layla for a bit? I've got something t take care of."
DNA:
"Who, me? Sure."
You whisper to DNA: Based on your knowledge of Pokémon, it's STILL in the Pokédex, only temporarily silenced if it isn't dead.
Layla whispers: "Praise me praise me!" Layla barked to no one in particular.
DNA:
"...Although, this does pose an interesting question. The Rotom is still trapped in this thing, since we never saw it actually expelled."
DNA:
"I'd better see if I can force it out again; I wouldn't want a repeat of what just happened. Jupiter, can you try your hand at forcing it out?"

Jupiter:
He tried to zap it again, this time with a bit more force to try and expel the Rotom.

Danny:
Danny looked a little more concerned about other things besides getting into fights with a girl.

Danny:
"You're the only one that waited for me, Kia! The only one! None of the other visited me while I was in the hospital!"
Kaorin Sakura:
The Rotom is forced out of the Pokédex and onto the ground in its most basic shape, unconscious.
DNA:
"...Well, that worked. Nice going, Jupiter. Next question: what are we going to do with this thing?"

Venec:
Venec sighed, prepared himself and sent out Lucy.
* Lucy opens her eyes as she stands tall, looking around blankly before narrowing her eyes at Venec.

Lucy:
"And here I was hoping the explosion would've hit all of you..."

Jupiter:
Jupiter picked it up with his magnet and held it high. He wanted so desperately to get rid of this thing, seeing what discomfort it caused his trainer.
* Grace eyes shot open and she turned to the direction where Venec ran off.

Grace:
"That thing is conscious again! And out!"

Danny:
"Okay!" Danny eyed Kia. "Take me to the others! They have some explaining to do! Leaving me in the hospital like that!"
DNA:
"Oh dear, not good. Guys, let's move, now!"
Andy:
Kia anxiously shook her head. “Danny you sleeping pretty soundly last time we all looked...and actually..”She sheepishly scratched the back of her head. “I was sent here for help! And also to return a pokemon, but we need to find the other’s!” She began to tug him in thee direction of the museum.

Venec:
"First... I wanted to say I'm sorry. I hit you. I shouldn't have done that."

Danny:
Danny allowed himself to be tugged, but he had a grumpy face the whole way!
DNA:
"...stay quiet for now. Don't do anything unless she attacks."
* Lucy raises her left eyebrow at the remark.

Lucy:
"You caught me and of all things, you're sorry you hit me?"

Venec:
"It might sound silly but my dad always said never to hit a girl." He paused in thought, "I'm not the smartest guy but I'm no idiot. I know there are times when I might have to hit a girl, times where it's justified. But back then... I was angry. I wanted to hurt you. And that isn't it. So I'm sorry."
* Lucy gives a trillingly melodic laugh.

Danny:
Danny seemed a little concerned as he noted Kia looked a little hurt. "Let me help you!"

Danny:
He still sounded grumpy. "I am your leader! And I need my team in top shape!"

Lucy:
"Your father is a gentlemen. You'll need to tell him I'm glad he raised you that way one day. Apology accepted, Venec."

Danny:
Danny pulled out a medical box and got to work on making Kia good as new.

Lucy:
"Although, there are some base rules to be followed here."

Jupiter:
(THAT...VOICE!!) he thought. He was engrossed completely in watching this Lucy situation play out, but that voice was unmistakable.

Venec:
"Hm?" Venec asked, caught off guard.
Andy:
Kia sheepishly looked away as Danny worked on her. "Sorry I might have over did it.."

Jupiter:
He turned slooooooowly around. Yep, Danny was right there. Jupiter held one of his magnets up near his face, "Shhh!" then turned back again.

Lucy:
"I'm more Pokémon than Human and have come to accept that. You caught me, I'll have to live with that shame and embarrassment. BUT!"

Danny:
(Danny uses Treat Serious Injury on Kia: Healing 80 HP.)

Kia:
Kia is healed and gains 80 hit points.

Lucy:
"I'm no one's property. I'm simply stuck with you temporarily. I'm not loyal to you and unless in dire straights. Someone else considers me their property and this is a good opportunity to see if what they said versus how they behave is true."

Danny:
Danny said "phewf!" as he rubbed his sweaty forehead. "Hard work!" he said, as he placed a bandaid on Kia's booboos.

Lucy:
"Unless in dire straights will I lift a finger for you."
* Lucy folds her arms across her chest.

Kia:
"Thank you so much Danny!" Kia smiled down at all of the bandages.

Lucy:
"And I'll prefer not to be confined, thank you."

Venec:
Venec nodded, "I didn't win that fight. I cheated and I know that."
* Lucy raises her eyebrow again.

Lucy:
"Cheated...?"

Jupiter:
(Cheated?)

Danny:
Danny started giggling. "Hee~ you look like a mummy!"

Jupiter:
He whipped around again, making the "Shhh!" gesture again.

Danny:
"Cheated?"

Venec:
"You were stronger than me so I threw a pokeball. I proved nothing, I cheated."

Danny:
"No, I'm sorry." Danny said, "I don't know what's going on here. YOU GUYS LEFT ME AT THE HOSPITAL COLD AND ALONE!"
DNA:
Cepheus was still there standing as stoic as a stone...well, up until Danny shouted.
* Lucy shrugs indifferently.
DNA:
"Pipe down, you idiot; explanations can wait."

Lucy:
"And I wasn't strong enough to break free. So, who cheated?"

Jupiter:
Jupiter rushed over to give Cepheus a high-five discreetly. Cepheus was a bit shocked at this, but Jupiter just smiled.

Venec:
Venec was silent, she had a point.

Lucy:
"Look, you're young and enthusiastic. I like that. I'll watch you and stick with you. You're my temporary Trainer. Maybe one day I can call you my friend and I may actually obey you. I prefer the life of a Pokémon after all and this is the life they live, right?"

Kia:
After seeing that everything was apparently okay, Kia turned towards Nurse Joy and gave her a sheepish smile. “I guess I may have overreacted. Seem’s my friends have everything okay. Sorry to drag you out…”

Kia:

Nurse Joy:
"...Is that...a human?"
DNA:
"...Yes and no."

Nurse Joy:
"...She looks familiar. Very familiar."

Venec:
Venec nodded, and for a moment smiled. His fear finally started to leave him. "I'd like that."
DNA:
"Familiar? You've seen her before? Where?"

Kia:
Kia shrugged clueless. “I told you it was a pokemon…girl…thing…” she attempted to scan the woman once more.

Venec:
Venec finally glanced toward his growing crowd.

Lucy:
"They're concerned for you and Mao recognizes me. You shouldn't be irritated. They care for you."

Venec:
whisper Kaorin An aside glance laced thought to Lucy heard, "I don't plan to contain you, but keeping you hidden for now might be benificial for both of us..."

Kaorin Sakura:
"Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokémon. Psychic type. A scientist created this Pokémon after years of horrific gene-splicing and DNA engineering experiments."
Kaorin Sakura:
"Rayquaza, the Sky High Pokémon. Dragon and Flying type. A POKÉMON that flies endlessly in the ozone layer. It is said it would descend to the ground if KYOGRE and GROUDON were to fight."

Danny:
"I thought Mewtwo was the reigning champion?"

Danny:
"Wait! You're the reigning champion!?" he looked at the girl. "And you're a girl! Impossible!"

Nurse Joy:
"Her hair looks different and her skin does too. She sounds different but she looks like Cynthia's daughter."
DNA:
"He is. But I'm willing to bet Lucy is some sort of splice...notice how TWO dex entries came up."
DNA:
"Cynthia has a daughter named Lucy?"

Kia:
"Who is Cynthia?"

Nurse Joy:
"Well, yeah. When she stepped down from Sinnoh's Championship she settled down in Unova."
DNA:
"I heard that much too, but I never heard what happened after that."

Danny:
"Wait, wait, wait. People can be spliced, too?"

Lucy:
"I'll have you know, that it may become expensive trying to confine me. I'll walk about like I am."

Danny:
Danny looked at Nurse Joy. "Are you spliced, too?"

Lucy:
"We should probably re-unite with your friends. Their comments are awkward."
* Nurse Joy shakes her head.

Nurse Joy:
"I'm Human, thank you."

Danny:
Danny pinched Kia. "Are you spliced, too?"
DNA:
Cepheus was about embarrassed by Danny's comments. He knew how bad it was to encourage them, but, "Jupiter, slap him for me please," he said.

Jupiter:
He was only too happy to oblige.

Kia:
"Ouch!" Kia jumped back. "No way! I'm human!"

Venec:
Venec nodded to Lucy, "Yes, lets"

Lucy:
"Mao."

Nurse Joy:
"...Lucy?"

Lucy:
"In the flesh."

Danny:
Danny made a sour face. He rubbed the side of face where a red magnet handprint remained. "Okay. I'll be good."

Nurse Joy:
"What did you do to yourself?"

Lucy:
"Became what I wanted. And in a fraction of the time than you."
* Nurse Joy frowns at the comment.

Nurse Joy:
"I'm not--whatever it is you are."
DNA:
(Became what she wanted? does this mean the nurse was trying to pursue...power...as well?)

Lucy:
"You can keep lying to everyone all you want, but at least some of you Joys are honest about what you are."
DNA:
(...Does this explain Irian at all?)

Nurse Joy:
"Speculation only gets you so far, Lucy. I'm Human. I'm not a Pokémon."

Lucy:
"You're about as much Pokémon as I'm Human. But it's there, no doubt. The Kirlia here will say the same."
DNA:
"If I may interject at this point?"

Grace:
"Grace. My name is Grace."

Lucy:
"Feel free to."
DNA:
"...There's obviously something going on between the two of you that the rest of us don't get. I'm going to take a guess and assume that the both of you are trying to pursue...something, yet are going about different means to obtain it. Well, first off, what is this 'something' and how does it tie to you both?"

Nurse Joy:
"I'm not pursuing anything. It's just the lies researchers like to tell people about us and Jenny's."

Venec:
Venec looked between the two speakers, curious but not thinking it was his place to pry.

Danny:
"I find it funny that I was able to deduce Nurse Joy's spliced-nature before Cepheus and Jupiter," Danny commented, "which proves that I am easily the smartest person in this party and thus validates why I am the leader."
DNA:
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Danny. Hubris is downfall."

Lucy:
"Not gonna comment on that anymore. But I wanted to be a Pokémon, but remain me and this is the result."

Danny:
Danny nodded happily, crossing his arms on his chest, grinning like a champ.
DNA:
"And you're saying that the Joy family is somehow involved in this?"

Nurse Joy:
"Oh gawd! Lucy, is that what you did? You spliced yourself with...with Mewtwo and Rayquaza?"

Lucy:
"They're not. Just sort of...paved the way for it."

Lucy:
"And according to the Pokédex, yes."

Nurse Joy:
"..."

Danny:
"It beats getting spliced with, like, a goldeen or psyduck."
DNA:
"Paved the way for...splicing humans?"

Nurse Joy:
"I'll be at the Center if anyone needs something other than this."
* Nurse Joy bows to everyone and returns to the Center.

Venec:
Venec looked at the claw mark in his chest. "Center might be a good idea."

Jupiter:
Jupiter was still wanting to get rid of the Rotom that he was still holding. Maybe he could find a trash can or something. But nah, that wouldn't be a lasting solution.

Danny:
"I don't discriminate against those that are spliced, or judge them unfairly," Danny commented, "so you don't need to worry, Dandy. I still wuuuuuv you~"

Danny:
Danny hugged Dandy lovingly.

Lucy:
"Yes. Paved the way for combining Human and Pokémon genetics. Bringing us closer together than ever before."
DNA:
"...How strangely fascinating. I'd like to hear more about it in the future, if you dont' mind sharing."

Kia:
Kia simply shook her head. "Why did you kill that scienstist? and the Officer?"

Lucy:
"I'll share what's not classified."
DNA:
"...Fair enough."

Danny:
Danny suddenly gasped in surprise, pointing at all of Venec's booboos!

Danny:
"I will heal you!"

Danny:
He got to work right away!

Venec:
Venec looked, "Ah yeah. Took a hit."

Danny:
Sweating profusely!

Grace:
"...I can't read your mind."

Lucy:
"Yes, I know. But I can read yours."

Danny:
(Use Treat Serious Injury on Venec: heals 80 HP.)
DNA:
Cepheus already detected that the one-way mind read might be a bit of a problem.

Grace:
"...I don't like her, Cepheus."
DNA:
"Just because you can't read her mind?"

Venec:
Venec is healed and gains 80 hit points.

Lucy:
"You don't have to."

Grace:
"Yes. She could be something like Dark or Ghost."

Danny:
"Grace doesn't like her?" Danny asked rhetorically. "I already like this Lucy person! Welcome to the team!"

Venec:
"Thanks Danny. "

Danny:
"Just as an FIY, I am the leader of Team Oak. Danny Green!"

Lucy:
"No. I'm not either. I'm just more in tune with my abilities. You can't read Mewtwo's mind either. I can't read his mind."
DNA:
Cepheus was groaning mentally. Danny tended to do that to him.

Lucy:
"You're the leader?"

Danny:
"Yes."
DNA:
"...I've heard of an ability called Mind Lock, so that might be why."

Lucy:
"So, you're the one I make demands to?"

Venec:
"He says he's leader louder than everyone else. That's about it."

Danny:
"Yes!"

Jupiter:
"Make demands?" Jupiter was giggling a bit already.
You whisper to Venec_Myles: I'm aware.

Jupiter:
Torturing Danny from someone other than himself was going to be such fun.

Jupiter:
Jupiter still viewed Venec as the real leader, but Danny wanted to be leader on paper, so go for it.

Lucy:
"I would like a 250¥ daily salary, sour poffins for dinner and waffles for breakfast. Lunch I'll make due on my own."

Danny:
Danny eyed Venec. "Says the guy I just healed up! Of course I am the leader!"

Danny:
"We'll say 200 and you have a deal!"
DNA:
"If I can point something out before Danny makes yet another pratfall, why do you wish to be paid?"

Lucy:
"I do not. I just wish to be fed poffins."

Lucy:
"It was a joke."

Kia:
Kia simply shook her head again eyeing the newcomer, and then turned to Venec. “How do you know that she isn’t going to stab you in the back? After all…she still has connections to that group that killed all of those people.”

Lucy:
"And that I'll reserve for my Trainer."

Danny:
"Okay, 100 but that's my final offer!"

Lucy:
"I do but I don't."

Lucy:
"And no, you don't know that I won't. But if it's any compensation."

Danny:
"50!"

Lucy:
"I haven't blown up in the middle of all of you. I'm confident that could kill all of you, or knock you all out to near death at least."
DNA:
"Danny, she said she was joking about the pain."
DNA:
*pay

Danny:
"Oh."

Danny:
"20!"

Venec:
"I can do that. It would be rude not to, I think." Venec said about the poffins. He had a newfound respect for Cepheus.
DNA:
"...she just wants you to provide meals."

Danny:
"Why shouldn't I be the one asking for money if that's the case?"

Lucy:
"You do. Against other Trainers."
DNA:
"Because you do things out of the goodness of your heart."

Jupiter:
Jupiter felt that Cepheus was lying through his teeth...but he'd never known Cepheus to lie. He was slightly confused.

Lucy:
"I agree with you...Juppie."

Danny:
Danny thought for a moment about Cepheus' words. "You make a compelling point!" Danny said, "I will think on it!"

Jupiter:
(My name's Jupiter, not Juppie!)

Lucy:
"If you prefer to be associates, I can call you Jupiter."
* Grace rolls her eyes.

Jupiter:
Jupiter nodded. (Yes, please. Plus, I think Juppie sounds silly.)

Danny:
"You can give me a nickname!"

Jupiter:
(The Idiot!) No one could hear his thoughts, though.

Lucy:
"Will take time. I'm less inclined to like Humans."

Danny:
"I am totally one of you spliced things, too!"
DNA:
"...That's understandable," Cepheus said. "Well then...shall we walk back to the Center?"
DNA:
"Danny, no you're not. Calm down."

Grace:
"..."

Lucy:
"Can I make you stronger?"

Lucy:
"Yes."

Danny:
"I'm just saying that Larry and my bond is so strong, so great, so awesome, so amazing...it's like we're spliced for life!"

Lucy:
"Will I?"

Lucy:
"No."
DNA:
"...Dangit, Grace." Was Cepheus surprised? No.

Danny:
Danny grinned.

Venec:
"Wouldn't be surpised if Danny was."

Danny:
"Anyway, what are we doing again?"

Lucy:
"I can grant you something nice though."

Lucy:
"I can teach you to be a Dog."
DNA:
"Heading to the center."

Grace:
"You want me to hate you, don't you?"

Lucy:
"No. Why would I want that? I'm serious. I can teach you to become a dog an--"

Kia:
Kia was still eyeing Lucy suspiciously but nodded in agreement with Venec. Although perhaps capturing Lucy would stop all of the killings. She could only hope.

Danny:
Danny began to walk to the PokeMon Center.

Grace:
"Stop talking."
DNA:
"Grace, Lucy, if you keep this up, I WILL separate you two." He didn't care if he didn't exactly have the power to keep those two apart, but he would certainly try.

Lucy:
"I was only trying to help.

Lucy:
"And Kia? No. It won't."
DNA:
"...why would teaching her to be a dog help?"

Lucy:
"I have yet to kill anyone. At least, not outside of lunch meals."

Lucy:
"Because she could find you by scent no matter what."

Jupiter:
*gulp*
DNA:
"I think she can do a good job of finding me regardless, though."

Danny:
"Yes, Grace will be able to find you by scent! When you're in need! Grace will be there! Smelling you! SMELLING YOU!"
DNA:
"Danny! Stop making things worse than they are already!"

Danny:
"I thought I was helping," Danny said.

Danny:
"You all seem really hostile toward Lucy."

Kia:
Kia looked over at Lucy concerned. “But why? What exactly is going on?” She felt a little better learning that Lucy had never killed anyone.
DNA:
"I think the last thing I need right now is the thought of Grace smelling me, thank you very much."
* Grace huffs.
DNA:
"All right - Jupiter, Grace, let's go."

Grace:
"Can I stab her in the back?"
DNA:
"No."

Danny:
"See? Hostile."
DNA:
"I know she's hostile, Danny."

Danny:
"Although," Danny commented, "it is kind of adorable when Grace is all fighty-fighty."

Grace:
"Easily provoked is my personality trait, Danny."

Danny:
"Hey, ever since you blew up that toad's head, I've always thought you were awesome. I'm just waiting for Cepheus to see that."
* Grace was stunned with blush, turning away from Danny quietly.
DNA:
"...Grace, are you tired at all? I'm guessing you walked a long way to find the police station."

Grace:
"I floated mostly."
DNA:
"...so that's a no?"

Grace:
"I'm fine, but thanks for being concerned, Ceph-chan."

Venec:
"So where are we going everyone?"
DNA:
"All right; let's move."

Danny:
"I'm the leader! Me first!"

Kia:
Kia trudged towards Venec and Danny as it was evident that Lucy wasn’t going to answer any questions. “ We actually were heading towards the waterfall behind the pokemon center. Looking for a secret passage.”

Venec:
"Huh, wher'd you hear abuot that?

Danny:
"To the waterfall! Your leader commands it!"

Danny:
"I heard it from Kia."

Jupiter:
Jupiter was still looking for a trashcan. He wanted to dump this stupid Rotom.

Jupiter:
Ooh, maybe he could drop it off at the Center!

Jupiter:
He rushed inside ahead of the rest, looking for the nurse to hand the Rotom over.
DNA:
Cepheus, knowing his request would be entirely misconstrued, went in after Jupiter.
* Nurse Joy seemed surprised to be so quickly approached by a Magneton.

Nurse Joy:
"Oh! H-Hello?"

Kia:
"I saw the quest on the message board. We also talked about it briefly with the museum worker remember?"
Danny is disconnected.
DNA:
"He wants to get rid of the Rotom. It's caused quite a bit of trouble for him and I. Perhaps you know a place for it?"
DNA:
"I don't know where it came from, other than it popped into my Pokedex at some point and was causing trouble."

Venec:
"Ah, I got wrapped up with the Grace thing, I guess I wasn't paying attention."
Danny has connected.

Nurse Joy:
"Not exactly. Rotom's possess things when people aren't looking. Without a capture, it'll end up somewhere in someones electronics again."

Nurse Joy:
"They mostly possess things like lights but are attracted to complex machines.
DNA:
"So you think I should try and capture it so it doesn't cause any more harm?"

Jupiter:
Jupiter moved a bit closer to Cepheus. He wanted to remain the token Electric-type.

Nurse Joy:
"Only if you want to. I can heal it but there's no telling what it'll do afterward."
DNA:
"I'd honestly like it out of my hair, but in a way that will make sure that it won't start causing havoc somewhere else."

Danny:
"There's an alternative to catching it to stop it from wrecking hacok for good," Danny said.

Venec:
"It'd be best to catch it first. I don't know what you keep back there in the center but that'sthe last place we want a wild pokemon wrecking things up.
DNA:
"If you're referring to killing it, I don't advocate murder."
DNA:
"...besides, it looks barely alive right now."

Layla:
Layla almost looked proud.
DNA:
"Not sure if I have a spare Poke Ball in here...oh, wait, here's one." He took it out and tried using it on the Rotom.

Venec:
"I've got plenty. In fact I've got a heal ball you culd use."

Venec:
"To make up for all the potions I've been borrowing.
DNA:
"Nah, it's fine."

Nurse Joy:
"Pokémon can't be caught this close to death."
DNA:
"Then what should we do? Heal it and hope for the best?"

Venec:
Venec looked to Danny

Danny:
"You want me to heal it?"

Venec:
"Can you?"

Danny:
"It's looks pretty hurt, but I think can I manage to patch it up..."

Venec:
"Thank you. Good luck."

Danny:
(Danny uses Treat Injury on Rotom: heals 40 HP)

Danny:
"Phewf! My ma would be so proud!"

Rotom 2:
Rotom 2 is healed and gains 40 hit points.

Danny:
"There, there little fellow," Danny said kindly. "You're all healed!"
* Rotom 2 remains unconscious.
DNA:
"It looks a little better..."

Danny:
Danny turned to Venec! "Quick! Nabbit now!"

Layla:
Layla growled at the rotom
Andy is disconnected.

Venec:
"It looks like you can catch it now."
DNA:
"All right...let's try it. Would any of you like it?"

Venec:
"I figured it was your style of pokemon. I'm starting to feel like I have to many to give a fair shot already tough."
DNA:
"Except I'm trying not to double-up on types. I already have an Electric-type."

Jupiter:
*wave*

Venec:
"If you plan to catch more than 17 pokemon you're going to have to."
DNA:
"Why do you say that? and why the number 17?"

Lucy:
"Do you plan on using the same few Pokémon throughout your whole career?"

Venec:
"Unique types? There's not that many of them. But I'll catch it if you're not interested."

Danny:
"Yeah," Danny said, "what Lucy said!"

Danny:
"You really should give Juppie a rest."
DNA:
"I'd like to try and keep the same repertoire if possible. I mean, I could catch it, but I know it'll just be collecting dust forever. i'd rather give someone else the chance."
* Lucy giggles appreciatively.
DNA:
"My aim isn't to collect; it's to learn."

Jupiter:
Jupiter bored holes into Danny with his eyes.

Lucy:
"You're not interested in contests? Badges? Trophies?"

Venec:
Venec nodded and took out a pokeball, touching it to the Rotom, "Let's give this a try."
DNA:
"What I'm interested in is growing closer with Pokemon. Badges and all that are just perks."

Danny:
"I have to admit that Juppie's staring has gotten worse ever since he got more eyes."
Kaorin Sakura:
The ball swallows Rotom whole.
Kaorin Sakura:
Shake.
* Rotom 2 breaks free from the Pokéball before falling flat on the ground again, motionless.

Venec:
Venec stared a moment before trying again.

Lucy:
"That's...embarrassing."

Danny:
"I just want to beat things up, brag about it, and lead us all to heaps of money and food."
* Rotom 2 is swallowed by a second Pokéball.

Rotom 2:
Shake.

Rotom 2:

Snap!

Venec:
"I want to compete in anything me and my pokemon can truly pour our hearts into."
DNA:
"I want to learn more about Pokemon and the world wherein which we live. I'd rather have them as my friends than as my weapons."
Kaorin Sakura:
The Pokéball suddenly becomes a translucent red and shoots through the ceiling.

Danny:
"They can be both."

Venec:
"There we are." Venec smiled at the ceiling

Jupiter:
Jupiter nudged Cepheus like he nudged a close friend. He shot a glance at Grace as well, out of the corner of his eyes.
* Grace smiles happily at Cepheus.
* Grace pats Jupiter happily, "You're a friend too!"

Jupiter:
Jupiter winked slightly. (Thanks, babe.)

Jupiter:
No one else heard that. Nope.

Danny:
Danny stared blankly at Juppie.

Jupiter:
Jupiter's eyelids narrowed to slits as he stared back at Danny.

Venec:
Venec smiled, "Well, while we wait for Kia I do want to get some shopping done and resupply. It's been a good while since I've eaten either. What time is it?"

Danny:
"I just noticed," Danny said, "but Juppie has mutated. He didn't always have three head-things."

Danny:
"Right?"
DNA:
"...He evolved, yes. It happened while you were away."

Venec:
"No, he always did."

Venec:
"You're just seeing things Danny."

Jupiter:
Jupiter had this strange urge to go climb a mountain. But waterfall first, mountain later.

Danny:
"I like Venec's answer more. I will go with I'm seeing things."

Danny:
"Anyway! To the waterfall!"

Danny:
Danny ran over to the waterfall like an excited child, glancing about the place spastically, before eyeing the rocks in front of him.
DNA:
"What is it, Danny?"

Venec:
Venec returned Layla for now

Danny:
"I will send out Andy to investigate this waterfall!"
Kaorin Sakura:
It's growing darker more quickly as the time passes. It's not mid-evening as the sky grows orange.

Danny:
Danny threw Andy's PokeBall out into the water.

Danny:
"Go! Andy!"

Danny:
"Quick! Check out that waterfall, Andy!

Venec:
Whistled at the sky, "Well... I think tomorrow morning might be a better time for that. I'm thinking shopping and then some sleep." He looked between Cepheus, Danny and Lucy.

Danny:
"See if there's a cave around there!"
DNA:
"Mary, go with Andy and see what you can find."

Danny:
Danny looked sad. "Okay," Danny said, "but after we find out there's at least an entrance!"

Danny:
"Mine is better than yours!" Danny said to Cepheus.

Danny:
"Andy! I believe in you!"
DNA:
"Kia would beg to differ on that, Danny, but think what you will."

Venec:
Venec walked around the stream and to the shop to check when it is open
DNA:
"...Grace, what happened when you got to the police station, anyway? You came back alone; I thought you'd have at least brought someone back..."
