  1. One night when I was watching King of the Hill on Adult Swim, the episode ''Kidney Boy and Hamster Girl: A Love Story'' aired at eight o'clock. You know the episode, it's the one where Bobby pretends to be a high school student with a kidney disorder that stunted his growth, and helps Arlen High win a radio station contest, with No Doubt performing at the high school prom as the prize.
  2.
  3. When the the first episode ended, the eight thirty showing of the second one started; however, this episode was very different in the usual style of King of the Hill. The first thing that seemed off was that the show didn't start until eight thirty-seven, which meant the TV screen was black for a good seven minute. I remember asking my boyfriend if the cable had been turned off over the phone. He replied, "No, we paid the bill this month."
  4.
  5. When the episode did come on, there wasn't the usual opening sequence where the The Refreshments perform the signature theme song Yahoos and Triangles. Hell, there wasn't even a fast-forward montage in the back alley where Hank takes out the trash. Instead, the words "Bill's Mania" appeared in a very basic, plain, white font against a black background. There was only silence.
  6.
  7. The scene faded into Bill Dauterive's living room. You know Bill, the dumb army barber next door whose big heart makes up for his intelligence? Well, he was sitting on the sofa and his living room didn't have windows or a front door. And this didn't look like the normal Bill Dautrerive as many King of the Hill fans have grown to know. In this episode he was bald, as in completely bald as if his head had been shaved. Another thing that seemed different was that Bill looked a lot more over-weight than normal.
  8.
  9. On the wall over the sofa was a picture of Bobby dressed as a sad clown. Bill let out a whimper and said, in a voice sounded like it had been recorded with poor audio recording, "Why does Hank get to have Peggy?" You could practically hear the deep depression in his voice. Another thing about this episode that seemed off is that the animation style leaned a little more towards Mike Judge's ''Beavis and Butthead, ''also the creator of King of the Hill.
  10.
  11. There was then a voice that called from Bill's bedroom. It sounded a lot like Peggy Hill; however, it seemed as though the voice actress sounded bored and unamused. Bill walked to his bedroom to find Peggy lying on his bed, only she was wearing Nancy Gribbles clothes and didn't have on her glasses. After taking one glance at the larger and shaved-head Bill, she scolded him for being a "gross, gross man."
  12.
  13. The army barber let out a deep sigh and walked over to a mirror on the wall. Looking back at him appeared the Arlen High armadillo mascot. Actually, it wasn't a mascot, but real armadillo that could move its mouth and eyes. It said something to Bill in Spanish and then faded away.
  14.
  15. When Mr. Dautrerive turned around, Peggy had vanished and this time it was Dale Gribble lying on the bed. He wore nothin but a thong and there appeared to splattered blood on his chest. With a cigarette in his mouth, he yelled, "You're useless! No wonder your wife left you!"

  17. There then came roaring laughter from all around Bill. This laughter sounded as if they were hidden behind white noise, and you could almost feel the humiliation in Bill. He ran down the hall screaming, "Stop teasing me!" in a high pitch voice.
  18.
  19. When he reached the living room, a faceless Lenore sat on the sofa wearing a red dress. Even though she had no mouth, Lenore seductively purred, "I know you want my tits, Bill." She paused and said, "I can be your little whore." When Lenore took off her top, her breasts did no have any nipples. Bill screamed at the sight of this and ran into the kitchen where a plate a freshly steamed hot dogs sat on the table.
  20.
  21. At this point, the scene cut to an image of drawn centipede with Dale's head screaming, in a small voice, "Fat moron! Ugly fatso!" He crawled inside Bill's ear, who was now sitting at the dinner table naked. Bill was gorging himself on the hot dogs, practically stuffing five franks in his mouth at a time. Oh, and how he cried and cried and cried. Hot dog mush fell from his mouth and landed on a newspaper that read: ''Local Exterminator Kills Wife After Discovering Paternity Results''." Picture below the headline was an image of Dale, only he wasn't wearing sunglasses or his signature hat.
  22.
  23. The scene then cut sharply to Bill sitting on the toilet. The sounds of him defecating seemed as though someone in the real world had diarrhea and recorded the noise. As he sat alone in the bathroom, Bill said something under his breath that either sounded like, "Why am I alive?" or "Why won't I die?" After he was finished using the toilet, Bill stepped in front of the bathroom mirror. In his reflection was a younger version of himself. The younger Bill said, in a very malice voice, "If I would have known I'd turn into you, I would've jumped off the bridge years ago." You could feel the coldness in his voice. The older and naed Bill whimpered something in French and his face began to distort into pure manic depression.
  24.
  25. The younger Bill in the reflection faded into Hank Hill who said, "You're an abject failure." The scene zoomed out to reveal that Bill's penis was not actually a normal looking male reproductive organ, but something that resembled a mannequin's crotch. "You're not a real man," the disappointed Hank concluded, before fading to the older Bill.
  26.
  27. Mr. Dautrerive then proceeded to run a bath, settled down into the tub and cracked open an Alamo beer. Beside him on the edge of the tub was a toaster that was plugged powered by an extension chord. Bill took a sip of the beer and whimpered, "Yep."
  28.
  29. He picked up the toaster, held it over his head and before dropping into the tub the screen blacked out; however, you could hear the splash of water and the sound of an electrical current snapping violently. The words, "For Mark" appeared in white.
  30.
  31. There were no end credits, no closing song, or a Deedle-Dee production screen, just darkness. After a good five minutes, The Cleveland Show began on normal schedule time at nine o'clock. I don't know exactly what I had watched, but I've searched and searched the internet for the episode Bill's Mania.
  32.
  33. I stil cannot find this episode. If anyone can find it, please contact me.
