So where does Alain fit in? Well, he’s still in the show, but his story is radically different. He’s a special agent that the Ghost Busters hire out to test drive a device that Akari has made that allows him to create an artificial suit with its own artificial ghost: Necrom.

Over the course of the show, the Ghost Busters slowly and surely got an idea of how Ghost Riders worked and Akari was secretly sharing Eyecons with them to further study them. Thus, they got the Mega Uloader.

Alain is also able to connect with ghosts, but more forcibly. Speaking of, the way Makoto gets brainwashed is different. In this, it’s Makoto who takes the Necrom Eyecon and uses it on himself to get more power. It’s by this point that the berserking Specter ghost is able to take over Makoto even when he isn’t using his Eyecon. Thus, he’s now more antagonistic towards Takeru.

Alain has no connections to any royal family. He still has his family, but they’re more CEOs and business owners than princes or princesses. Adonis is owning the company who funds the Ghost Busters, Igor and Adel run the technology front, and Alia and Alain run the PR front.

Because the Necrom Eyecon is taken from Alain by Makoto, Alain sides with Takeru much earlier, though only temporary. After the Necrom incident, however, Takeru finds out that Akari was working for the Ghosts Busters behind his back and they have a falling out.

He gets bummed about this and replacing Akari as the main rider’s girl is a klutzy woman who joins the temple, played by Aoi Yuuki… Yep. This is where Yurusen comes in. Well, to be fair, Yurusen was with Takeru from the beginning, but this is the first time that Yurusen is getting closer to Takeru, mainly to act as a spy for the Sage, who is masquerading as Edith, head of the treasury for Adonis’ company.
