- 1. clown fiesta
- scouts: vari and sometimes ex
- roamer: glider
- pocket: froot
- demo: mae
- medic: meyy
- clown fiesta’s roster is weird. I would say half their team is solid at their class. Vari puts on good numbers on his team, mae puts out high damage even if he’s struggling in the fragging department, and froot, while i think his ubers are garbo, tends to get things down in fights.
- You look at the other half of the team and how they perform in matches and it’s confusing how they could be the best team in IM. Ex, when he shows up, is a decent scout in his own right. Meyy is also just okay at medic, not fantastic and every once in a while do something baffling but the biggest surprise from watching their matches is glider. Glider has moments of brilliance with a lot of mediocre play everywhere else. He’s good at getting forces and basically anything that involves shooting the medic but really struggles everywhere else.
- If you look at results though, they have beaten everyone else in the running for best team fairly convincingly, they do have a lost to EVIL and their win against dunheon defenders will have an asterisk next to it due to dunheon not having their starting roster but for now, they take the first seed.
- MVP: Vari
- 2. dungeon defenders
- scouts: percy and demoted
- roamer: megabit
- pocket: kryptonite
- demo: MC
- medic: exile
- dungeon defenders’ roster sports a lot of players that a year ago weren’t playing in ESEA or were just playing their first season of ESEA. Demoted is he most experienced player on the team, just to put things into perspective. Majority of their roster is dedicated to improving as well.
- My only problem with this team is a product of their inexperience as players. I’ve popped into some of their player’s streams for a couple minutes and they do a good job communicated; they seemed coordinated as well but the things they do individually as players are questionable to me or I see as not optimal to the fullest extent. For example, there are times where I see percy play the beam and start being very reactive. In situations where he has no reason to be playing reactive.
- Other than that, solid team is solid aim. Their only loss has an asterisk next to it due to them not having their full roster.

- 3. 130ms
- scouts: sandblast and bunnymonster
- roamer: cloudmaker
- pocket: aim
- demo: moy
- medic: lee
- 130ms is the most dysfunctional, frankenstein team in IM. I really don’t have to write anything, I just need to link
- this:
- As you can tell, lee is by far the worst medic in the top five IM teams but the rest of this team is pretty decent. They recently picked up cloud, which I’ll say is an upgrade over sandblast/spacecadet roamer. Cloud is good at making plays and his dm is solid enough but he does dumb shit pretty often. Sandblast is alright at scout, solid dm and comms not really bad but not really standout by any means. Bunny monster’s decision making is like what the fuck but his dm is good enough for him to get away with a lot of shit he shouldn’t be able to, really shines in scout 1v1s. Moy is a solid demo, similar to sandblast he’s not really great but he’s not really bad. Aim is the brain of the team and their best player, he’d probably be carrying even harder if his medic was better.
- I don’t need to say anything about lee, just watch the clip of aim’s stream again.
- "I like lee, I really do but I can't reach these kids" - aim

- 4. Running from Mustard
- scouts: yimi and rekuso
- roamer: kawa
- pocket: deathy
- demo: jarrett
- medic: skye
- Running with Mustard has 2/3 of the players from the invite team, Running With Scizors but they seem to be much worse without Muffinz. The reason I’m putting them fourth is their only losses have come from the teams above them in these rankings. That doesn’t really excuse the poor play from essentially every player on their team in close matches.
- Deathy’s been putting up damage but in every other aspect is lacking as a pocket, you could up that to a lack of combo coordination due to yimi replacing muffinz’ role as the ‘combo’ scout. Speaking of yimi, he’s actually doing fairly decently unless you account for his heals taken in a lot of these matches. Skye’s heal spread has been poor but she’s definitely adjusting into a more reasonable spread, which I think comes from the addition of Jarrett on the team.
- Kawa and Rekuso are questionable. Rekuso definitely doesn’t give a fuck but he’s also not good enough to do well while not really caring. Kawa is definitely better at scout, her roamer isn’t great but she doesn’t feed so at least she got that down.
- MVP: Yimi
- 5. Waddle R Us
- scouts: phelps and rock monkey
- roamer: phorofor
- pocket: trip
- demo: safrix
- medic: tiptoes
- We might be lower, we play two of the top four teams this week. So we’ll see where we actually belong after this week.
- Our pickups definitely bump us up but i just wanna call tiptoes and me bad
- I’m terrible at demo. I used to be passable but I have had double digit deaths in every match and am averaging 250 dpm when I’ve only played two decent teams the entire season.
- I actually have no clue why tiptoes is mediocre and I play with him. I think he probably makes bad decisions and has a tendency to walk infant of his team a lot.
- MATCHES TO WATCH
