Narrator whispers: There's several familiar scents as you venture north but none that ping like Uraruren does. Familiar even with the touch of fire.

You whisper to Narrator: Familiar how?
Narrator whispers: You remember smelling it BEFORE you acquired your super smelling senses but you haven't smelled it directly SINCE you've acquired them. That much you can tell.

Avara: 	grace and i are at the entranceway for the scene, so we're waiting for act and mars to make it

	Actinidia: 	We're waiting on checks.
DNA: 	I have the results of my check.
	Actinidia: 	Do they lead us in any direction?
Narrator whispers: Oh, yes in fact. North and then west. Not northwest. North. Then west.
DNA: 	...No, unfortunately not.

When you arrive at the entrance to the larger area you walk through what feels like a void in aura, space and time. You feel sickly for a moment like you aren't yourself or something is missing. You can see, if only vaguely, a crack in the air. Like shattered glass and there's a faint outline of darkness. Slowly, slowly, SLOWLY, closing in on itself. Looking around you can see more through some sort of smoke in the area and shattered pieces of...something. Shards of some kind scattered along the ground. Directly across from you, however, are your allies.
	Actinidia: 	"Something's messing with my head in here." Actinidia put a hand to her head, "It looks like Etna shrunk."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"I just feel like everything got...heavier. Like the air feels like sludge."
	Actinidia: 	"I can't see Uraruren..."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"...I can't either. ...What's that...metal thing?"
Looking to your southeast or southwest (depending on where you are) you see a collection of Pokemon by an entrance to what appears to be a subway tunnel. Pokemon built even. There are a Dragonair, Monferno, Nihilego and Gyarados. Around then and lined along the walls Cutiefly hoving around a collection of Geodude and Magnemite - all of which are working on building fortifications and passageways. The Cutiefly seem to be watching them for changes in their aura and then draining them of their Power whenever it replenishes to keep them weak and making resistance futile.
	Grace Leonhardt: 	Grace tilts her head side to side, weary with the feeling in the pit of her gut about this place. "I... don't like this... Do you see anything E...tna...? Are you uh... seeing that too?"
Narrator: 	Oh, and there's light in this area. I forgot that. You can see fine here.
	Etna: 	Etna stays quiet for a second, watching the situation carefully to try and grasp the situation. "Are they... forcing those pokemon to do their labor? Huh."
Narrator whispers: The Dragonair and Monferno smell vaguely familiar...it's their scent you were recognizing you think...
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"...wait a minute. Act."
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 takes notice of your group when you enter and he shrugs, "I thought I heard a ruckus...and if my eyes aren't playing tricks on me I can see why."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Take a look at that Monferno. Is that who I think it is?"
	Actinidia: 	"Obviously. They called him by name."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	*that monkey
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"......I thought so. And the thin snake next to him?"
	Etna: 	"Oh, we're spotted. Hi! I'd like some context before I decide what the fuck?"
	Actinidia: 	"Which way is Uraruren...?"
	Grace Leonhardt: 	Grace will be a rather bit hesitant at seeing the group, especially the jellyfish looking one, considering the possibilities of other UBs... or if they're even human or animal or... from somewhere else like the game. Grace nods her head, still holding onto Etna's tail, hoping for an explanation as well.
	Actinidia: 	Actinidia looks to see if the tini spider is anywhere in teh room.
	Actinidia: 	Seeing 4+6+4+1=15 (STUNT! 4 Stunt Points)
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 raises an eyebrow to Etna and shrugs, "I dunno. Context? The Pokemon here are working to save their pitiful lives. I'm not exactly kind about it. Might kill them anyway. Might not, depending on if I think they're lives are worth scrapping off my foot."
	Etna: 	"Did they do anything to merit killing?"
	Monferno 1: 	"Yes. They killed. Children in particular and then made the mistake of looking at mine. I killed all the ones I had no use for. These? Well, they can create rock and steel. They might get to live."
	Etna: 	"Ah. Cool. I don't have a problem then."
	Etna: 	"We're looking for ura, but she's not down here, so I was going to gather my friends," Etna gestures across the room at Mars and Act, "and get out."
* Pierce Mars Oswell gives Etna a nod.
	Grace Leonhardt: 	The lucario will tilt her head side to side before perking up. "Oh! Were these those blood guys the Slugma back there was talking about?"
	Actinidia: 	"Do you know anything about the charred spinarak above?"
	Monferno 1: 	"Ura? That the tiny spider thing with spunk?"
	Etna: 	"Yes."
	Actinidia: 	Actinidia begins to walk toward her allies.
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 turns to Actinidia, "Above? Some of my workers killed the ones down here near the beginning of all this from the sounds of things. A colony of the things must be somewhere nearby but with knowledge of the sewers and type advantage, they haven't returned. And hopefully never will. I won't tolerate encroachment on my utopia."
* Pierce Mars Oswell follows her.
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 turns back to Etna, "I haven't seen your friend. I think I would recognize her if she hadn't evolved. I don't harbor you guys any ill will."
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 sighs, "And my patrols aren't with you. Please tell me you didn't kill them."
	Etna: 	"Knocked one out, talked the other down."
	Actinidia: 	"Two surrendered on our side. The other took a rather nasty hit."
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 sighs, "...Which, Actinidia?"
	Actinidia: 	"The black lizard. I don't know the species."
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 rubs his chin, "Was that one a parent?"
	Nihilego: 	"I dunno, didn't come in with us."
	Dragonair: 	"He was, but he already lost his wife and child. It's why you kept him away from the children."
	Monferno 1: 	"Oh right." Monferno 1 shrugs, "Shame. But at least we don't have to have anyone around mourning him."
	Dragonair: 	"Amarant! That's cold! Even for you!"
	Monferno 1: 	"It's sad, yes. But I have several other families to worry about and we have to grab control of the subway tunnels. I don't have time."
	Actinidia: 	"I would also recommend keeping the volume down here, if you don't want attention. We investigated because we could hear the screams of pain and death from the street."
	Monferno 1: 	"Good." Monferno 1 shrugs, "Not many are as....bold as you. Keeps most out. Curious. But out."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	Grace couldn't help but shift a touch uncomfortably at how casually these folk were talking about death, including Act.
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 turns to the Geodude and Magnemite, "Screaming louder would do wonders."
	Dragonair: 	Dragonair frowns a bit to Amarant's attitude.
	Etna: 	"We have to be bold, or stupid, or whatever else you were going to say. It's how we search for possible trouble in our territory. Now we know this is yours, we can leave it well enough alone."
	Monferno 1: 	"Yeah. Saw your work at the white house. It's impressive. Against ground troops."
	Etna: 	"Working on construction for others."
	Monferno 1: 	"Be wary of towers. Flying folk are gathering there and I saw some legendaries gathering. Yes, that was plural. More than one."
	Etna: 	"I was thinking dome, actually."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Looks like that rafter thing was a good idea..."
	Monferno 1: 	"Anything that flies would be stupid to come down here. Way out of their element and we have advantage. But you? Up on ground level? You'll have problems when they get hungry. For any kind of resource and it's conveniently in one place with you."
	Etna: 	"Yeah, we'll have to prepare against that."
	Actinidia: 	"We've been rebranding ourselves to fit this new world. The Seekers of Hope. We don't seek the old world, or the defense of humanity for the sake of it. We're going to make the most of the new world we live in."
	Actinidia: 	"When we hear suffering, we have no choice but to come look."
	Monferno 1: 	"You guys are neutral at worst with children so I got no beef with you. My kind will respect yours as long as we keep that respect." Monferno 1 nods to Actinidia, "No, that sounds pretty noble of you. I don't give a flying fuck about the old world either. But children are still children who belong to parents. They're family and love is strong. Unlike us, they're weak in this new place. Beyond their young age. No aura. No evolution. No survivability outside us. You got a problem with human children then you got a problem with everyone down here."
	Etna: 	"And that's why I'm fine with you and your operation. Because I agree with the sentiment, and I respect you." Etna nods. "Glad to see we've got an accord."
	Actinidia: 	"I'll bow to Etna on this one."
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 nods, "Oh. Word of advice. When we get this subway thing going good we're going to torch the sewers. Don't want no Poison Types rummaging their way through here and trying to hurt us or the kids. Through any means they might be able to using the sewage or water system. So, gonna burn it all."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"As will I. ...There's no way I can ignore children in need. Not anymore."
	Etna: 	"... Be careful, when you do. Fire burns underground for a long time, if you don't have a plan to put it out right away. There's still that sixty-year-old fire in Centralia for an example. That was a landfill of trash and a coal mine."
	Monferno 1: 	"We'll give you a warning. It might burst the pipes it might not. It might change the landscape, it might just be pretty fireworks. Dunno. But, again, we'll give you a heads up on the event."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	Grace nervously taps her hands togeather and just simply nods her head in agreement. The screamin' kinda messing with her.
	Actinidia: 	"... poison types? Why poison types? Is fire not just as vicious?"
	Etna: 	"Smoke, fire, and burning trash isn't really healthy for kids to breathe in. So, caution."
	Monferno 1: 	"Yeah, I hear you. But this is water and sewage. I think it'll be fine. Worst, it'll burn for a weak and stink like hell."
	Actinidia: 	Actinidia bit her tongue.
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 turns to Actinidia, "I can't poison food or water sources with my fire. And children can't eat things as diverse as us. I don't want them targeting us through indirect means. They're sneaky little bastards like that."
	Etna: 	"Or explode. Lots of... gasses and stuff." Etna shrugs. "Sorry, I'm not exactly a scientist, so I can't give a solid prediction on it. We'll be careful of the sewer openings and pipes."
	Etna: 	"Thanks for the warning."
	Monferno 1: 	Monferno 1 nods, "Sure thing. You guys be safe up there."
	Actinidia: 	"... so lets keep looking for Uraruren."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"...yeah. These sewers probably go further, or so I hope."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Yeah... I... don't wanna be down here anymore..."
	Etna: 	"She's not down here. There's not been any spiders down here since the day of the change, the slugma said."
	Etna: 	"Let's go up and try the other path."
	Actinidia: 	"But we've been following her scent... right?"
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Right, sorry. Got distracted."
	Etna: 	"No. We lost track of her scent."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"...I haven't picked up her scent once."
	Etna: 	"We came down here because webs and screams."
	Etna: 	"The webs were in the cracks, but there hasn't been any this far down."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Believe me, I know what she smells like from who-knows-how far away."
	Etna: 	"Right. So let's go up."
	Etna: 	"And keep going south."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Please."
	Actinidia: 	"... right right..." Actinidia sighed. "I'll all out of sorts."
	Etna: 	"Don't worry. You'll feel better on the surface.."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Yeah." ...Mars starts walking, and then gives Grace a glance. "I thought you were way too old to have a growth spurt."
	Etna: 	"She evolved. She's a Lucario now."
Narrator: 	Do you need me to make a token for you Grace?
	Actinidia: 	Actinidia rubbed her eyes. "... wow, how did I miss that? I thought Etna had grown smaller from a distance."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"I kinda miss talking to someone who was my height."
	Etna: 	"I'm more surprised you didn't notice she ripped her clothes. We'll have to get something new for her."
	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"Oh, I did notice. But I thought it rather rude to point that out."

	Grace Leonhardt: 	"Fresh air, and actually seeing would be good. Wait whot?" She'll say looking at the others confused by their sudden comments on her being a lucario. She'll pat herself down being unable to see and notice that there were some changes... as well as some rags and her old barn jacket now acting as a short jacket. She's now rather eager to get in the light and see her new self. On the other hand tho, the torn clothes just gets a heavy blush going with her tail tucking between her legs.
Grace: 	Noice! Thanks!

Avara: 	well... once we figure out how the quadrupeds will get out.

With just her jacket in one peice, she'll quickly fashion the poncho she wore as a skirt... though the hole made by the chest spike did make for a conveinent hole for her tail. Though it wasn't close to what she wanted to wear. She'll simply discard the rest of the rags with a slightly sad sigh.

Walking to the south takes you to the Sound of Silence It is eerily silent in the area you arrive in. You can clearly hear the wind in the air and the sound of tree's and leaves flowing in its caress. This was once a busy intersection you recall. The lamp posts that were once illumination for the area and its wires haev disappeared entirely. Now there is a grove-like area with strange clouds rising just above the water in the area and you feel, and see, strange aura at work here.

	Pierce Mars Oswell: 	"She's definitely here. On the other side of the pond. Can't tell exactly where, but definitely around there."
	Grace Leonhardt: 	"I see a spider! That might be her! Huh? I... don't hear anything."
	Actinidia: 	"Be very, very mindful of webs."
* Etna starts moving around the pond.
Avara: 	hm. it is teh late. should we break?
	Actinidia: 	"...which reminds me, Etna. Your dome idea. Having tall posts with a maze of nets, vines or webs might work better. Slow down aerial attackers, they have to weave through. Doesn't disrupt sunlight as much as a dome might."
