[20:36]	GM-Momi	[An old Toyota Corolla stopped. It's not where they should be if they are going to up this mountain using tourist trail. Usami Renko frowned. She just know these two for only a short time, but here she is, driving for them. They said they are here for sightseeing like most Americans are, but never once she heard of a foreigner who want to go up the mountain like this.
[20:36]	Renko	"You sure?"
[20:36]	Renko	speaks in clear English accent.
[20:37]	Renko	"I mean, this is not safe by any stretch of imagination. You said you want 'wild', but this is a bit too much for a hiking trip."
[20:37]	Zeke	shrugs.
[20:38]	Kai	It looks like a nice trail.
[20:38]	Zeke	"We wouldn't have asked you to come all the way up here if we weren't serious."
[20:38]	Renko	"There is no trail to speak of."
[20:39]	Renko	gestures at the unexplored area of the forest, only animal trail is present from the roadside.
[20:39]	Renko	"Well technically a trail, but not for humans."
[20:39]	Kai	You know what I mean. It'll be a nice hike.
[20:39]	Zeke	looks out at said trail.
[20:39]	Zeke	"Looks like fun~"
[20:39]	Kai	Plus we're well-supplied and have GPS-es, so we should be fine.
[20:39]	Zeke	"Look, I know it's out of your way. 'D be a shame to turn back now, d'ya think?"
[20:40]	Zeke	"It's not like we're camping out here, either. Not THAT stupid."
[20:40]	Renko	"...I hope you guys aren't planning on double suicide. You still owe me for lodging!"
[20:40]	Renko	fake pout.
[20:40]	Zeke	shrugs again as he gets out of the car.
[20:41]	Zeke	"If I'm not back in two days the spare key is behind a loose board next to my door. Take what ya think is fair."
[20:41]	Zeke	"Just, call search and rescue BEFORE you do it, mkay?"
[20:42]	Renko	"Gotcha."
[20:42]	Renko	salutes.
[20:42]	Kai	Hey, don't go giving away my stuff too.
[20:42]	Zeke	raises an eyebrow.
[20:42]	Zeke	"Then you'd better get back before me and stop her."
[20:42]	Kai	turns to Renko.
[20:42]	Renko	"Have a safe and fun trip, you two."
[20:43]	[O]Zeke	nods back at Renko and slings on his backpack, grabbing his walking stick.
[20:43]	Kai	Seeya later!
[20:43]	Kai	salutes back.
[20:44]	Renko	, after seeing them off, drives away onto the highway. The car grows smaller, and after a while disappears from their view.
[20:44]	[O]Zeke	watches the car leave.
[20:44]	[O]Zeke	"...She seems nice."
[20:44]	Kai	hefts his pack and hiking stick.
[20:44]	Kai	She does, doesn't she?
[20:45]	Kai	Let's get going.
[20:46]	Zeke	"You leading, or am I?"
[20:46]	Zeke	"I'll lead. Thanks."
[20:46]	Zeke	does not wait for a rebuttal.
[20:47]	Kai	goes along with it.
[20:47]	Kai	Alright.
[20:47]	Zeke	checks his compass when they're a ways in.
[20:48]	Zeke	"So, we best just stay straight east more or less, then head straight west out when we're done."
[20:49]	Zeke	looks skeptically at the animal trail.
[20:49]	Zeke	"Yeah, that'd get us lost."
[20:50]	Kai	Sounds like a plan to me.
[20:54]	Kai	[Kai and Zeke begin their trek through the forest, crossing a number of smaller hills that accent the slope of the mountain. After a time, the trees and foliage press close enough that the mountain disappear behind them. Overhead, little patches of sky break the canopy and keep darkness from setting in too early.]
[20:56]	Zeke	nods often along the trek.
[20:56]	Zeke	"Yeah... This, now this is nice... America's got this too, but still... Nice."
[20:56]	Kai	makes light discussion.
[20:56]	Kai	Out of curiosity, what do you think of Romney?
[20:57]	Zeke	"Huhwha?"
[20:57]	Zeke	has been knocked out of "the zone".
[20:58]	Zeke	"What's Romney again?"
[20:58]	Kai	smirks.
[20:58]	Zeke	"I've been missing a lot of movies lately. Not much good on, you know."
[20:58]	Kai	Eh, it's not important.
[20:59]	Zeke	"Coo'."
[21:01]	Zeke	"So, what's left on your Japan itinerary or whatever? You saw the Gundam, yeah?"
[21:02]	Zeke	"At least I thought you said something about Gundam. Kind of stupid in my opinion, but, Japan."
[21:02]	GM-Momi	[The forest grows. It's not even thicker and darker, but it's more... 'ancient', so to say. The more they travel, the less they can sense. After a while, they notice that they are basically walking in a nature untouched by human reaches. The tree is too big, as if they are here for hundred of years already.]
[21:03]	A_Normal_Shadow	is normal and completely innocuous.
[21:03]	Kai	Yeah, that was pretty nifty. I could probably roam around for over a year...
[21:03]	Zeke	"Hoh... Okay, maybe they DON'T have this in America."
[21:03]	Kai	... Man, Renko was right about this forest.
[21:03]	Zeke	can appreciate the deep forest. Very serene.
[21:03]	Zeke	checks the compass again.
[21:04]	Kai	Maybe in oregon, but yeah, not much of this in the states.
[21:04]	Zeke	"We need to tap over a bit more this way, Kai."
[21:05]	Zeke	looks up at some of the massive trunks.
[21:06]	Zeke	"Hey, stop me if you see one with low enough branches. I'ma climb that shit."
[21:06]	Kai	Will-do.
[21:08]	Zeke	"So, whaddya think, is Japan worth it to settle down?"
[21:08]	Zeke	makes casual conversation. For him, at least.
[21:08]	Kai	I dunno, maybe.
[21:09]	Kai	I'd find it hard to leave behind my friends and family back home, though.
[21:10]	Zeke	"Oh, I don't mean for YOU, no, you do your thing."
[21:10]	Zeke	"I think it'd be nice if I could stay away from the city, maybe. Weird stuff in the city."
[21:10]	Zeke	checks the compass once more before putting it in his pock-hang on.
[21:10]	GM-Momi	[the compass sort of wiggles around aimlessly without direction.]
[21:11]	Zeke	stops walking to give the compass time to settle down. It's wobbling pretty bad.
[21:11]	GM-Momi	[the compass appreciates that, and settle down in no time. It points where it should, now.]
[21:12]	Kai	So what, you wanna be a hermit?
[21:12]	Kai	It's nice to visit nature, I think, but...
[21:12]	Zeke	"Ehhwha, no, no, not like THAT away from the city, Kai."
[21:12]	Zeke	is defensive about that pretty fast.
[21:13]	Zeke	"It's just, the big Japanese cities are giving me a weird vibe. Hard to explain to someone else."
[21:13]	Kai	Be more specific, then?
[21:13]	Zeke	"They don't FEEL right. For me, I mean. I can't really be more specific."
[21:13]	Zeke	"It's just me. Don't worry about it, it's cool. I'm cool."
[21:14]	Zeke	"When I find the place, I'll find the place."
[21:15]	Zeke	"Until then, you know... Walkin'."
[21:15]	Zeke	motions ahead. Walkin'.
[21:16]	Kai	keeps on going.
[21:16]	Kai	Yeah, I guess I know what you mean.
[21:16]	Kai	Too few trees, even if the connection is fiber-optic.
[21:16]	A_Normal_Shadow	is just as normal and innocuous as before.
[21:17]	Zeke	"Well, it's not even the trees. I mean, what, am I a hippie, HECK no."
[21:17]	A_Normal_Shadow	hears noises, however.
[21:17]	A_Normal_Shadow	...people-noises.
[21:17]	A_Normal_Shadow	?
[21:18]	Zeke	"I think I'll skip China. That's just an accident waiting to happen."
[21:18]	Zeke	"Do then even LET people emigrate to China?"
[21:19]	Kai	... good question, actually.
[21:19]	Kai	Hong Kong might be neat, though.
[21:19]	Kai	slows down, noticing Zeke's slight wariness.
[21:19]	Kai	See something?
[21:20]	Drifting_Shadow	floats toward the sounds of l̶u̶n̶c̶h̶ the people-noises, still some ways away.
[21:20]	Zeke	looks ahead. Does he?
[21:20]	Zeke	"Ehh, no, not really. I mean, like, forest. What, you see something?"
[21:22]	Kai	well, you looked like you saw something.
[21:22]	Zeke	"Wha? Oh, no, just trying to get the compass to stop wobbling."
[21:23]	Kai	Huh, alright.
[21:23]	Zeke	keeps on truckin'. He's not really trying to go anywhere, he just thinks that if he keeps going, maybe he'll get somewhere.
[21:23]	Kai	is happy enough to tag along for the ride. Hikes are nice and relaxing.
[21:30]	GM-Momi	[it is sort of dark, even if it's in daytime...]
[21:31]	Zeke	attributes such to tree cover for the moment.
[21:31]	Drifting_Shadow	catches sight of --oooh-- humans, up ahead.
[21:31]	Drifting_Shadow	Yay~
[21:32]	Zeke	"Hey, what time you got?"
[21:32]	Drifting_Shadow	picks up the pace a little, and settles in about 20 feet behind them.
[21:33]	Kai	What time do you have?
[21:33]	Kai	casually retrieves his smartphone and begins powering it on to check the time.
[21:35]	Zeke	's dumbphone is in his backpack. Not worth unzipping to get.
[21:35]	Zeke	"Backpack O' Clock."
[21:37]	ShadowingShadow	closes in further.

[21:39]	Kai	I've got 2PM.
[21:39]	Kai	looks up, double-checking the density of the forest.
[21:39]	Zeke	"Sounds about right."
[21:39]	ShadowingShadow	looks them over. It's kind of hard to make them out suuuuper-clearly, but they're both Outsiders, which is good.
[21:41]	ShadowingShadow	Turns out there is such a thing as a̶ ̶f̶r̶e̶e̶ ̶l̶u̶n̶c̶h̶ good luck~
[21:43]	Zeke	"When do you want to turn back, anyways? I wanna keep the light with us."
[21:45]	ShadowingShadow	Speaking of, it's getting darker.

[21:46]	Zeke	still attributes it to tree cover. This is a pretty kickin' forest. Not many forests he's been in have enough trees to do that.
[21:47]	Kai	Maybe we should turn back now...
[21:47]	Kai	this is pretty weird.
[21:47]	Kai	turns off and secures his phone, then looking around.
[21:47]	Zeke	"What now how? We haven't been hiking THAT long. I think we're still safe."
[21:48]	Zeke	"We're just deep, is'all."
[21:48]	ShadowingShadow	It has gotten pretty damn dim, now. Like, in a matter of minutes.
[21:49]	Zeke	"Well, hey, okay, you think it over, I'ma find that tree to climb."
[21:51]	Kai	I think that might be a bad idea.
[21:51]	ShadowingShadow	!
[21:51]	ShadowingShadow	grins, unseen.
[21:52]	Kai	This is... not normal. It shouldn't be this dark.
[21:52]	Zeke	looks for a low enough branch. These trunks are HUGE; it's going to be tricky.
[21:52]	Kai	changes grip on his hiking stick to brandish it like a spear, though he doesn't raise it.
[21:52]	Zeke	"Well, then I'll try and get over the cover, see what the sky looks like."
[21:53]	Kai	These trees are too tall for that. Shadow doesn't normally work like this, Zeke.
[21:54]	Zeke	stops trying to scramble up a trunk and hops down, looking at Kai.
[21:54]	Zeke	then takes a look at the forest.
[21:54]	Zeke	"Hoummm... Woah."
[21:55]	Zeke	"Spooky."
[21:55]	Zeke	checks his compass again. Searching for trees spun him around.
[21:56]	Zeke	"Fine, fine, okays. West is-a that-a way."
[21:57]	ShadowingShadow	taps Kai on the shoulder.
[21:57]	Zeke	"I got a flashlight in my pack if you want it."
[21:58]	Kai	spins around in a fright.
[21:58]	Kai	What the f-
[21:58]	Kai	reflexively smacks whatever it is in the same motion.
[22:17]	ShadowingShadow	was doing it from behind Zeke's back. The longhair smacks at nothing but air.
[22:17]	ShadowingShadow	Tee hee~
[22:17]	Zeke	hears the whoosh of air.
[22:17]	Zeke	"Woah, Kai. You cool?"
[22:18]	Kai	is holding the makeshift spear in an improvised combat stance.
[22:18]	Zeke	"Umm... Prob, lem?"
[22:18]	Kai	... Something is here.
[22:18]	Kai	Or someone.
[22:18]	Kai	... Uh, you didn't tap me on the shoulder, did you?
[22:18]	Zeke	maintains a one-armed grip on his staff, but seems fairly chill.
[22:18]	ShadowingShadow	The surroundings are now darkening properly, and at a visible rate.
[22:18]	ShadowingShadow	giggles again.
[22:18]	Zeke	"No..."
[22:18]	Kai	is (1/chill)
[22:19]	Kai	...
[22:19]	Zeke	looks around, and rubs his eyes before looking again.
[22:19]	Kai	Let's go west.
[22:19]	Kai	Jogging at the slowest.
[22:19]	Zeke	slowly swivels around, looking in all directions.
[22:19]	Zeke	"Hang on, bro, just, hang on..."
[22:20]	Zeke	is actually quite tense, but doesn't sound like it.
[22:20]	Zeke	"This is... something..."
[22:20]	ShadowingShadow	Is that so~?
[22:21]	Zeke	's ears perk up. A voice?
[22:21]	ShadowingShadow	says, from what sounds like right next to Zeke.
[22:21]	Kai	adopts a hard voice.
[22:22]	Kai	Who are you, and what are you doing here?
[22:22]	Zeke	's eyes dart to the sound of the voice for only a half-second, then look back at Kai. Looks like he heard the voice too, okay, not just imagining it...
[22:22]	Kai	is struck with a split-second of confusion after realizing the voice. A little girl...?
[22:22]	ShadowingShadow	thinks about that for a minute.
[22:22]	Zeke	"Shhh, shhh, Kai, hold on..."
[22:22]	ShadowingShadow	...I'm hungry~
[22:23]	ShadowingShadow	grins, again unseen, as if that neatly answered everything. Which it did.
[22:23]	Zeke	grips his staff more firmly and shuffles his feet back a little. He suspects... something. Maybe nothing, but... something...
[22:24]	ShadowingShadow	Do you know who tastes better?
[22:24]	Kai	I don't think the middle of the fore-
[22:24]	Kai	. o O ( SHIT, she said "who". )
[22:25]	Zeke	's mind is racing. It's probably just "that", which would REALLY suck, but if it's "THAT"...
[22:25]	Zeke	"Kai. Mouth. I'm trying to think."
[22:25]	Kai	's system is flooded with adrenaline. Just one quick try at improv...
[22:26]	Kai	quickly produces a food bar and tosses it toward the figure.
[22:26]	ShadowingShadow	can faintly be seen; the outline of a small person hovering about a foot or two off the ground. The figure's posture is strange, as if they were holding their arms out to the side.
[22:26]	Zeke	's fingers tap a mile a minute on his staff. Not much time, not much time...!
[22:26]	Kai	I'm pretty sure that's tastier than the both of us.
[22:26]	Zeke	can make out an image in front of him.. Is it...?
[22:27]	Kai	Can we go now?
[22:27]	ShadowingShadow	pauses, and appears to look down-ish for a moment before looking back up.
[22:28]	ShadowingShadow	...It takes more than that to be a miko, human.
[22:28]	ShadowingShadow	I guess you'll do~
[22:28]	Zeke	whispers something, maybe to himself...?
[22:28]	Zeke	"This is... happening...?"
[22:28]	Zeke	almost doesn't sound like he's asking a question.
[22:29]	Zeke	catches the last bit of that conversation, and grips his staff firmer for now.
[22:29]	Zeke	{"This could be happening... This, COULD, be happening..."}
[22:30]	ShadowingShadow	floats a little closer, and more details can be made out amongst the thick shadows surrounding everything: clothing, a dress, short, light hair, and what seem like bright... brown? eyes. She-- it's probably a she, right?-- looks at Zeke.
[22:31]	ShadowingShadow	You can try running, if you like. Or you can wait until I'm done with that one.
[22:31]	Kai	backs away, putting the shaft of his hiking stick between the two.
[22:31]	Zeke	has made up his mind. He says something to Kai, but doesn't turn around.
[22:31]	Zeke	"Kai. This is happening. This, right here, THIS, is happening."
[22:31]	ShadowingShadow	gives him a cheerful little smile, and then begins drifting towards Kai.
[22:31]	ShadowingShadow	Lunchtime~
[22:32]	Kai	You think I don't fucking know?
[22:32]	Kai	RUN!
[22:32]	Kai	makes a quick jab at the face of the figure before sprinting away at PLAID SPEED.
[22:32]	Zeke	"Kai, don't you get it, THIS! THIS, is happening!"
[22:33]	Zeke	has unfortunately failed to explain what "THIS" is to anyone.
[22:33]	Kai	JUST RUN!!!
[22:33]	Zeke	shakes his head, but keeps hold on the staff.
[22:33]	Zeke	"No."
[22:33]	Zeke	"You run."
[22:34]	Zeke	has a very strange sort of smile on his face he's forcing himself to keep hidden.
[22:34]	Girlterror	bobs to one side, dodging the blow, before setting off in pursuit.
[22:34]	Kai	turns around and slows down just enough to briefly address him.
[22:35]	Girlterror	Be back in a biiiiit~
[22:35]	Zeke	{"Aww, dammit, they're BOTH running..."}
[22:35]	Kai	I don't care if we're in freaking neverland, run!
[22:35]	Zeke	shouts back in equal fervor.
[22:35]	Zeke	"I DO!"
[22:36]	Zeke	"You get the hell back here! THIS, IS, HAPPENING!"
[22:36]	Zeke	"You do NOT waste this! You are NOT wasting this, Kai!"
[22:36]	Zeke	has to stomp after the two briskly to stay in shouting range.
[22:37]	Kai	And we'll still be running in neverland, but we'll be alive!
[22:37]	Girlterror	Shhhh.
[22:37]	Kai	. o O ( Is this SERIOUSLY happenin!? )
[22:37]	Girlterror	says, from next to Kai.
[22:37]	Kai	Dammit!
[22:38]	Kai	makes another swipe with the improvised weapon and sprints back towards Zeke.
[22:39]	Zeke	is a cauldron of mixed emotions right now. Fear, anger, confusion... childlike happiness.
[22:40]	Zeke	shakes his head, back and forth, for any myriad of reasons.
[22:41]	Girlterror	is floating beside him, arms still held out. It's easy for her to duck the blow.
[22:41]	Girlterror	Kai can see now that she's blonde, and young, and smiling. And then one of those outstretched hands arms comes around and slaps him on the noggin with all the loving gentleness of a champion brawldwarf.
[22:41]	Zeke	{"You don't waste this... No one, should EVER, waste this... Goddamn it, Kai, don't be that guy."}
[22:45]	Kai	loses his balance from the strike, awkwardly falling to the ground.
[22:45]	Kai	instinctively covers his neck with a spare hand, using the other to wield his stick like a cane.
[22:46]	Kai	SOME HELP, PLEASE!?
[22:46]	Zeke	purposefully moves towards Kai, avoiding the swinging stick.
[22:46]	Zeke	"Hold off the stick for a sec, come on!"
[22:46]	Zeke	offers a hand to Kai, the other holding his own staff.
[22:47]	Girlterror	grabs the Kai's stick.
[22:47]	Girlterror	Settle down, Lunch~
[22:47]	Girlterror	It's you-time~
[22:48]	Girlterror	yanks the stick away, and tosses it at Zeke.
[22:48]	Girlterror	And you, Dinner...
[22:48]	Girlterror	flashes Zeke a winning smile
[22:48]	Girlterror	Just wait your turn~
[22:49]	Zeke	, oddly, nods affirmatively to the strange horrorgirl before parrying the stick with his own.
[22:49]	Kai	tries to roll out of the way and get to his feet again.
[22:49]	Girlterror	takes a hold of Kai's arm, and doesn't let go.
[22:49]	Girlterror	And then... she begins squeezing it.
[22:50]	Girlterror	Hmm.
[22:50]	Girlterror	moves up along the arm with her other hand, squeezing portions of it between her fingers.
[22:50]	Girlterror	Nope. Nnnope. N......nope. Oooh!
[22:51]	Girlterror	Meaty~
[22:51]	Kai	grits his teeth and lands as many punches as possible on the "girl"'s face.
[22:55]	Girlterror	grimaces a little, but as if it's not much more than an annoyance.
[22:55]	Girlterror	Lunch, I /said,/ settle down.
[22:55]	Zeke	moves in close enough to lash out with his staff, connecting with the horrorgirl's wrist. It's a respectable blow, for a human.
[22:55]	Zeke	"YOU settle down."
[22:57]	Zeke	grabs Kai in the opening he's made and pulls him back. While doing so, he says a quick few words to him.
[22:57]	Zeke	"Remember this, Kai. THIS, is when it all changed."
[22:58]	Girlterror	's hand is knocked away. She looks at Zeke with an irritated pout.
[22:58]	Kai	No shit!
[22:58]	Kai	Time to run?
[22:58]	Girlterror	You're being annoying, Dinner.
[22:58]	Girlterror	floats back up into the air, and looks at them.
[22:58]	Zeke	, to Kai:
[22:58]	Zeke	"Not even close."
[22:59]	Zeke	, to Girlterror:
[22:59]	Zeke	"Sorry."
[22:58]	Girlterror	then smiles again.
[22:59]	Girlterror	It's okay. You can be Lunch, if you want~
[22:59]	Zeke	"If YOU want, ya' mean."
[23:00]	Girlterror	blinks.
[23:00]	Kai	never leaves people behind, but... Magical cannibals are kind of new. And deadly. He remains ready to run, though he doesn't bolt yet.
[23:00]	Girlterror	's head tilts slightly, and there's the faint scent of burning hair for a moment.
[23:00]	Girlterror	then blinks again.
[23:00]	Girlterror	What?
[23:01]	Zeke	"Well, I mean, I think you're stronger, so it's not me, it's YOU."
[23:02]	Zeke	"800 pound gorilla. That sort of situation."
[23:02]	Kai	. o O ( ... If this seriously works... )
[23:03]	Zeke	doesn't REALLY expect this to do anything, but if he's going to go, this is how he'd have wanted it.
[23:04]	AGoodGirl	is meanwhile flying up overhead, in the direction towards a nearby village. She then sees a dark section of forest, much darker than should be possible during the day, so she starts to head down to check things out.
[23:04]	Girlterror	stares at Zeke for a few seconds longer. The smell of burning hair returns again, and once more, she blinks her eyes a few times before re-focusing.
[23:05]	Girlterror	I think you're talking too much for Dinner /or/ Lunch.
[23:05]	Girlterror	giggles.
[23:05]	Girlterror	So now you're Snack.
[23:06]	Girlterror	いただきます～
[23:06]	Girlterror	that bit doesn't make any sense.
[23:06]	Zeke	smirks a little, and thumbs back at Kai.
[23:06]	Zeke	"Cool. Is he allowed to leave?"
[23:06]	Girlterror	pounces on Zeke with fingernails that turned into claws at some point in the space between seconds.
[23:08]	Girlterror	Zeke has the dubious pleasure of being thoroughly bowled over by a 78-pound girl.
[23:08]	Zeke	is dropped to the ground hard, and feels the scrape of claws on his shirt and skin. His staff-arm is thrown to the side and the staff leaves his fingers.
[23:08]	AGoodGirl	suddenly parts the thickened shadows not unlike a certain sea as she slowly descends from the treetops on a beam of light, landing lightly a few feet away from the group.
[23:08]	Kai	Zeke!
[23:08]	Zeke	is a little too busy to notice.
[23:09]	AGoodGirl	...?
[23:09]	Zeke	"You can run now, bro!"
[23:09]	Kai	is paralyzed in shock between his new friend about to be eaten and magical shenanigans EVERYWHERE. Fight and flight weigh evenly.
[23:09]	Zeke	tries to muscle the girl off of him, but it's of little consequence.
[23:10]	AGoodGirl	H-hey! What's going on?
[23:10]	Girlterror	slaps Zeke upside the head to still him. Troublesome food~
[23:10]	AGoodGirl	asks a rhetorical question, but it should get everyone's attention
[23:10]	Zeke	answers the voice for no good reason a split-second before getting slapped.
[23:11]	Zeke	"Dying!"
[23:10]	Girlterror	Snacktime~!

[23:12]	AGoodGirl	reaches into the satchel she's carrying and pulls out... A PIECE OF PAPER ATTACHED TO A STICK!

[23:14]	Zeke	is a little annoyed with her dragging this out, even though he's still struggling for his life.
[23:14]	AGoodGirl	musters up a simple charm, and levels the talisman at the girl that's sitting on the boy.

[23:15]	Zeke	"Unngh, the legs, the legs! Humans are ground-bound, the muscle is in the legs!"
[23:15]	Kai	slowly realizes that the girl is in an actual miko getup. The implications don't quite connect yet. Also, half-murderous rage against Zeke for stupidity.
[23:17]	Girlterror	feels a very painful sort of itching feeling, just as she starts to bite down on a meaty section of Zeke's arm.
[23:17]	Zeke	winces.
[23:17]	AGoodGirl	Did that work? Better try again.

[23:18]	Girlterror	pauses and bats at the feeling, but can't find a specific location where it seems to be on her body.
[23:18]	AGoodGirl	rears back for another pitch.
[23:18]	AGoodGirl	OFF!!

[23:19]	Kai	mindlessly begins rearing up for a massive kick.
[23:19]	Girlterror	jumps off of Zeke like he was a bed of coals.

[23:20]	AGoodGirl	looks thoroughly pleased with herself.
[23:20]	Zeke	flops around on the ground for a bit before realizing the girl's off of him. He fumbles around for his staff, looking at his bitten arm.
[23:20]	Girlterror	tumbles to a stop, and then picks herself up, and looks around.
[23:21]	Zeke	uses the staff to pick himself up, looking around quickly at some new green-blue girl?
[23:21]	AGoodGirl	...oh, its you again!
[23:21]	Girlterror	Zeke now sports a light (but mostly full) set of teeth marks on his bicep. Some have pierced the skin; others have only broken capillaries.
[23:22]	AGoodGirl	How many times do I have to tell you not to eat humans?!
[23:22]	Girlterror	's eyes settle on the girl.
[23:22]	Kai	backs up towards the apparently-friendly girl, soundless. This is...
[23:22]	Zeke	observes the wound. Painful, but not deep. He lucked out...
[23:22]	Girlterror	...Who're you?
[23:23]	Girlterror	stares at the girl without any sign of recognition.
[23:23]	Zeke	chooses not to interrupt the conversation, making a mental note to thank the green-blue at the earliest convenience. There's no one ELSE around that'd be saving him, so it must be her.
[23:24]	AGoodGirl	...eh? Maybe I put a little too much power in that last charm...
[23:25]	AGoodGirl	looks down at her haraegushi.
[23:25]	Zeke	hobbles out of the way between the two girls, winded and catching his breath.
[23:26]	AGoodGirl	shakes it off and gets back to being all cross armed and scoldy
[23:26]	AGoodGirl	Anyway, stop trying to eat humans!
[23:28]	Girlterror	...Why?
[23:28]	AGoodGirl	Because it's bad!
[23:29]	Girlterror	has gotten back up to her feet, and thrusts her lower lip out as belligerently as an apparently 10 year-old girl can manage.
[23:29]	Kai	just stands back and watches, silently shaking his head.
[23:29]	Girlterror	These 're Outsiders. They're fair game.
[23:29]	Zeke	inches over to Kai and whispers something to him, very plainly.
[23:30]	Zeke	{"The one thing I do NOT want to hear from you, EVER, is 'This can't be happening'."}
[23:30]	Zeke	{"Also 'I don't believe this', same thing."}
[23:31]	AGoodGirl	Oh right... well, then you can't eat them because I'm here!
[23:31]	Kai	whispers back, wrathful.
[23:31]	Kai	{And I don't ever want to see you stand around like an IDIOT asking to be killed. Of course this shit is happening- it's happening. No need to die over it.}
[23:32]	Zeke	replies, snidely:
[23:33]	Zeke	{"...She went after you first. Just sayin'."}

[23:34]	Girlterror	doesn't know who she is, but she has miko clothes and unless she's mistaken, did miko things.

[23:34]	Girlterror	...She also seems to be almost criminally lax in her approach, compared to the red-white.
[23:35]	Zeke	doesn't respond. Now is not a time to argue; now is a time to observe new-world politics, maybe!?

[23:35]	Girlterror	doesn't want to give her any ideas, though. The blue miko's sloppy work is her own fault. Best not to give her ideas. Oh look, an out!

[00:37]	Zeke	chats randomly about life on "The Outside", as prompted by the green-blue/white girl. As much as he'd LIKE to ask questions about THIS world...
[00:38]	Zeke	"Movies, ehh, kind of hit and miss these days. I think, like, the divide is getting bigger? Like, good movies are REALLY good, and bad movies are worse."
[00:38]	Kai	pulls out his smartphone and powers it up, then showing it to the girl.
[00:39]	Kai	Have you seen these before?
[00:39]	Kai	Also, since you seem to know something about the "outside"... How long ago did you come here?
[00:41]	AGoodGirl	Well, I came here about 2 years ago, when my shrine's goddesses decided that we had to go somewhere else to gain more faith!
[00:41]	Zeke	glances at the farms nearby. No modern machinery to speak of. He files that away for future use.
[00:43]	Zeke	"I hear that; ain't much faith left in the world, these days..."
[00:44]	AGoodGirl	Yeah, it was kind of sad that we had to leave, but ever since then, we've managed to do really well for ourselves!
[00:45]	Zeke	nods, and asks with a small note of hope, almost rhetorically:

[00:46]	Zeke	"So even the so-called 'Outsiders' can live all right on the Inside, mmm?"

[00:46]	AGoodGirl	is a little oblivious, if you haven't noticed.
[00:46]	Kai	I think that magic has to help a lot, what with the cannibalistic little girls running about.
[00:46]	Kai	comments to both others.

[00:49]	Zeke	decides not to press this good girl too much; she seems a little distracted. Best not to ask too much of the one who saved your life.

[00:50]	Kai	This place looks like it would be nice to explore, if it weren't so dangerous.
[00:50]	AGoodGirl	Actually, most of them aren't too bad! It's just the dangerous ones that need to be exterminated!

[00:51]	Zeke	smirks. There are ALWAYS constants, no matter where you are. Find them, and it all becomes just a little more bearable...

[00:56]	Udonge	is also in the village. She is carrying a rather heavy cardboard box and is very focused. She has long purple hair, and a fair skin. Her shapely body curves are hidden by the western-style clothing (albeit with mini skirt) she's wearing. However, the most distinct feature of her is a pair of rabbit ears on her head.

[00:57]	Kai	doesn't notice the rabbit quite yet.
[00:57]	Udonge	's pathing system is a bit out. She's not walking straight due to the weight she carry.
[00:58]	Kai	Second, I don't think we introduced ourselves.

[00:58]	AGoodGirl	...oh. OH!

[00:59]	Zeke	is a little distracted, but waves to the girl and says "Hi" and all that.
[00:59]	Sanae	Anyway, I really gotta run, so take care! And don't go wandering through the forest alone anymore!
[01:00]	Sanae	calls out that last warning over her shoulder as she runs off.
[01:01]	Udonge	's predicted pathing is gonna collide with the two in the very very very near future.
[01:01]	Udonge	This is.... rather... heavy...!
[01:01]	Zeke	has been watching the girl, and notices this.
[01:02]	Udonge	trips!
[01:02]	Udonge	Awawawawawawawa----!!
[01:03]	Udonge	does a magnificent slip-and-slide, straight at the two!
[01:04]	Zeke	makes a move! The bunnygirl is falling INTO him, so he manages to save her and the box both, though not exactly gracefully. They're both kind of leaning on the box for support at the same time; hardly a romantic engagement.
[01:05]	Zeke	"Woahohwhoah!"
[01:05]	Zeke	"Woah, woah, I got it, I got it, hold onto it!"
[01:05]	Kai	falls to a stance behind him, arms stretched out to break their fall should it happen.
[01:06]	Zeke	is balancing the weight of the girl AND the box, so falling over is a distinct possibility.
[01:06]	Zeke	"Kai, box, maybe, help?"
[01:07]	Kai	Sure.
[01:07]	Kai	quickly moves to right the two.
[01:08]	Zeke	and Kai have a better grip on the box now. Dang, it IS heavy; she was carrying this by herself?
[01:08]	Zeke	"Okay, okay, I got it, just, set it down, sloooowwwly!"
[01:09]	Udonge	awawawawa....
[01:09]	Udonge	the world is spinning...?
[01:10]	Udonge	is not exactly out of it yet.
[01:10]	Zeke	asks the girl, still holding the box:

[01:19]	Zeke	resists the vague urge to say, "So, dead bodies?"
[01:20]	Udonge	Anyway, I'm in quite a hurry, so-
[01:20]	Udonge	is about to leave, but then notice the strange nature of their clothings.
[01:20]	Zeke	"Ahh, sure sure. Do you need any help, or...?"
[01:20]	Udonge	...huh?
[01:20]	Kai	stares in return. o O ( Bunny ears, huh? )
[01:21]	Zeke	"I mean, it's no trouble, we weren't really going anywhere..."

[01:31]	BlueRed	taps twice again, somewhat harshly and with several fingers.
